A start and some finishes

Here is the Lizzie Kate Spirit of Christmas mystery sampler.  Did not get very far and will probably not finish it until next Christmas but you never know I may pick it up again soon.

I have also finished a few of my stitched pieces.

I made another standing ornament using another of the Lavender and Lace free Christmas ornaments.

Waxing Moons Hitchin a Ride made into a cushion.   I have so many Christmas cross stitch finishes that there is nothe enough room for them on the wall so I'll make some into cushions, some big some small but at least they'll get used each year scattered around in groups, baskets etc.

A small cushion made from Country Cottage Needleworks Santa's House from the Santa's Village.

Santa Ho Ho Ho by Sanman Originals

Another Sanman Originals ornament called Just BeClaus.

And finally for today

Ice Cream Sundae by Country Cottage Needleworks.  I think I may need a slightly bigger hanger for this one.

I have started the Country Cottage Needleworks Gingerbread Village but I'll save that until the next post.

We'll best go, time to make dinner.

Happy stitching

Welcome to the Nuthouse

More of my Summer stitching

Feels like the Nuthouse most days around here so this is perfect for us. LOL

Waxing Moon's Welcome to the Nuthouse

Another finish ready to be framed for Christmas, maybe for Winter too cute only to have up just for a few weeks over Christmas.

I think that is all the stitching I finished over the Summer holkidays but if I remember anything else I will add it later.

Happy Stitching

A few things to show you today

I have three photo's for you today.  The first two I meant to post on Monday but time ran away with me and I forgot sorry.  The first is my Seaside Cottage finished.

I just need to find an anchor charm and a seagull one then it will be finished.

Next an update on my Faye Whittikar Cowes

I have been working on the two seated boys, they are almost finished.

Next is my currant project  from Waxing Moon

I had forgotten about this one I brought it with Warm Winter Wishes which I finished into a flat fold so I may do the same with this one.

Saturday 27 September 2008

Both of the RR's I stitched on have reached their homes so I can show you the squares I stitched. The first on is for Kay, her theme was Halloween and I stitched a SanMan design for her. (forum members only chart).

The second one was for Louise and her theme was snowmen. I stitched a Waxing Moon design for her but I had to change it slighly to fit into her square.

I also finished one of the SanMan Halloween pieces I stitched a while ago. It is a chart for SanMan forum members only.

1st Flatfold

Been a bit busy with the school holidays but I have finished my first flatfold.

I was very pleased with it and have a few more stitched pieces lined up to be finished this way. Here is the back and side view.

I wish I had known about the flatfolds and cube finishes before now.
