Birthday Penguin

Hello!
After more than 2 years after my last post, I am back with a very simple card. I feel rusty after so much time that I didn't make any card, I was coloring though, but not too often either... life is complicated sometimes!!!!
Anyways, here is my card, hope you like it.

The image is by 2CuteInk, and was colored with Kuretake markers, (the coloring was done by my daughter), and I made the rest.  I cut with a Sizzix circle die and the same for the green cardstock mat. I used a Happy Birthday embossing for the background, a little bit of a very old dp, some green ribbon to embellish it and that's it!

Birthday Cake

Hello!
This is a new card I made, and I think I will keep it for my husband's birthday; he loves cakes and as I am a squirrel, I guess, that goes perfect for his birthday...

The image is by 2 Cute Ink (I won it a couple of weeks ago, yeah!), I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils and cut it with Labels 2 (Nestabilitites- Spellbinders), the same shape for the green cardstock mat.

The patterned paper is Poligraphservis and the green cardstock for the mat (don't remember brand). My husbands likes bright colors...

I added a green ribbon and a green button to complete the sketch, I love it!.

Cute owl

Hello, dear friends!
How are you? For me, this has been a very busy week and just today can come around to blog a little bit about a card I made:

The image is "Tulip Owl" by 2 Cute Ink Stamps and I colored it with markers. To cut it I used a circle die and left the flower sticking out.

For the background I used a flowers embossing folder on the half of a white cardstock and purple cardstock to mat the circle image and the background. To embellish it I used three purple rhinestones.

I like to make cards that can be used for any opportunity like birthday, thank you, just because.... I think this one is one of them, I can put a sentiment when I will use it :)

Cute Owl

Hello!
Happy Sunday! I hope you are having a great weekend, here is the last one before my daughter starts classes... vacation is over and now the life goes to the normal again!
I would like to show you a card I made:

The image is/was a freebie at Facebook "2 Cute Ink" page and it's called Cute Owl, and she is very , very cute, isn't she? I colored it with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils and cut with a circle die (Sizzix), and placed it on a bigger bluesky circle.

I used some paper I won at Colette's candy (Thank you, Colette!!!) and some pink and skyblue cardstocks. I used a Flower embossing folder (Sizzix) on the skyblue. (I made 2 squares but the circle was bigger and it looks like one big rectangle now...)

As embellishment I used a gingham pink ribbon and made a couple of bows.

I would love to enter this card into the following challenges:

Happy frog

Hello!
Yesterday I made this card but I was so tired to post... If you follow 2 Cute Ink at Facebook, you've got this froggy freebie... and also there is a challenge with this image.

This cute frog is the protagonist in a game called iFrogger, and the artist of 2 Cute Ink is the creator of the drawings, to celebrate, there is a challenge going on. Here are the links to the game and to the freebie: iFrogger Game link- https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ifrogger/id587404667?mt=8
iFrogger Freebie link- http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=432866563458204&set=a.216275838450612.52575.189866967758166&type=1&theater

I colored the image with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I matted with a purple cardstock, and made some faux stitches with a green glitter pen around the image.

Then I used cream cardstock that has a microembossing and green cardstock, I used an embossing folder for the green one (Sizzix - Birthday). And more purple cardstock to mat the sentiment (I made it with my computer and printer, very simple).

The little green frogs were made with a frog punch I have hardly used, and am happy I did to complete the sketch. I glue them with foami tape, I love some dimension {not showing in the pics :( }
