Another CAS and fast birthday card

Hello!
Today I have a couple of cards to show you, this is the second one. I was asked to make a few very simple birthday cards...

I already had this D2D Designed to Delight image colored with my acuarelable pencils... I love to color and I have many (hundreds?) images colored and never did anything with them, because there is always another cute image to use or a special ocasion, etc, etc...

I made some faux stitches with a fine sky blue marker and placed it on a sky blue cardstock as mat. I used a TLC sentiment used the same cardstock for mat. The only embellishment is a few sky blue rhinstones (I love bling!)

Hope you like it!

Digi Makeover challenge #62 - Photo inspiration

Hello!
I hope you are starting a great week :)
I am starting this week with two cards (please, scroll down to see the other card I made). This week our challenge  at Digi Makeover is a Photo Inspiration... we hope to inspire you to make more cards!

And this is my first card for this challenge. I used the cake theme and the orange and greenish colors as inspiration.

I used Natalie, but I didn´t use her wings, so now she is a simple cute girl, this is the good thing about digis, you can make your image so versatile... I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils and placed it on an orange mat. I cute both with Sizzix oval die cuts and the Big Shot. I also used a TLC sentiment and placed on orange cardstock too.

Then, I used a couple of dp from my stash. They were in my scraps' box, so I decided to give them a good use :) I also used some orange cardstock.

As embellishments I used three orange paper flowers with orange rhinstones in its center. and some green wire to give some more dimension to the bunch. I used more rhinstones in the corners of the card.

Hope you like my card and join us this week in our challenge.

I used a "thank you" sentiment that I have for ages now, but I can´t remember from where I've got it. I used som skyblue shinestones to embellish it.

As background I used a Sizzix embossing folder on white cardstock. I also used a TLC sentiment and used a purple gingham ribbon  and also I made a bow.

Today, at Digi Makeover we have a great challenge: Thank you. You only need to use a digi, to say thank you in any way and play with us, and then , you can win beautiful digi stamps and/or be our guest designer next week!

I made two cards today. I used "Felicity fawn" for the first one and colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. Then I cut it out. I also used  "Thankful" simple sentiment.

I used Paper Soyuz brown with golden glitter leaves dp and kraft paper and I used Damask embossing folder to make it look prettier (I love kraft paper!). I used the back of the dp as mat for the sentiment.

As embellishment I used a beige with dots ribbon and some orange rhinestones.

My second card is more CAS than the first one. I used one of the new wordarts "Thanksgiving prayer" and I placed it on some brown cardstock as a mat.I distressed the edges of the sentiment with a brown ink pad and I think it matches the dp.

The dp is Herbst - Folia and I punched out some leaves in two different brownish papers. I used some rhinestones in the corners of the sentiment. I twisted the sketch to make it work for my digistamp.
