Double page layout about Visby
Hi! TGIF!
I don’t know how long I will be working today, but I know when this day ends the first ever National test in History for grade 6 in Sweden will be done and on it’s way to Stockholm and the Agency of Education for printing and distribution.
That feels good.:)
Here is a page I’ve been working on for some time. It’s a page about the architecture of the medieval city of Visby. This place is no less than amazing. I used fabulous papers from Webster’s and decorated mainly with roses (since Visby is called city of roses).
I so love making roses with the Heartfelt Creations stamps and dies. It’s become an addiction. I went a little crazy with the shaping of the leafs. I need better tools. It’s on my wishlist.
Have a fabulous day!!!

Favorite layout and a Valentines CAS card
Hi! Here is a layout I’ve been working on a few days now. It’s a new favorite of mine, cause it was super fun to make and I love the photos of my boy and my mom playing games and having a great time together. I used all scraps for this, all the papers and embellies are from old kits from 2011. I was sooooo inspired by Julie and her work with her stash!!!
I used this fab sketch from Scrapbook.com:
Every week I plan to play along with CAS-ual Fridays, but seldom do. But wohooo, this week I did!!! I used my Grunge 2 stamps from Skipping Stones Design and stamped away. Super easy. I’m just sorry that , the red I love you ended up really wonky on the photo. It’s a brighter red, like the twine, irl.
Thanks for stopping by!!!

My son’s first reaction was: who is THAT? YOU!!! What awful glasses!!!!
Well, it IS 11 years ago. And it IS hard to find nice glasses – I’m in the process right now so I know all about it. Anyway, I really like this page. It’s a bit soft in the colors and the colors are my favorite combo of blue and browns. I stamped a lot, but a bit subtle on this one. The flowers and the hearts are clear embossed and inked, but doesn’t really come through on the pic.
The Heartfelt Creations Blog is chock full of projects so don’t forget to pop over! Thanks for stopping by today!

On top of the world
Happy Sunday! Hope you are enjoying a lovely weekend!
I have a random layout to share. The photos are from our vacation last summer when my boy met the special rock formations of Gotland and Fårö for the first time. He could have spent the whole week climbing these rocks.
I used a sketch for the design, but can’t find it.
Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks and a BOM layout
Hi! Happy Sunday!
I have both a card and a layout to share today. First is a thank you card, I always need a bunch of these.
It started as a lift but somewhere on the way, I strayed and the only thing left are the rounded corner… Oh well. Sometimes it’s fun to just keep adding things…
And since I did, and have 1 flower, 6 rhinestones, 2 metal charms, 1 button, 1 pin and 1 angel I can enter this in Use 10 Embellishments Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.
My layout is about a life changing moment in life. I’ve been thinking about a hasty decision I made 17 years ago that is the starting point for the life I live today. I’m so happy I was so frustrated and irritated about my job, my boss and co workers that instead of deciding to stay and study in the town where I had family, friends and an apartment, I accepted a spot at a university in a town I’d never visited three hours away. Just like that. Thank God!
So love these Studio Calico papers!

The City of Roses
Hi! Happy Sunday!
We are enjoying the weekend with catching up after our vacation. Cleaning, washing, ironing… but we are almost done for today and the man will watch the Olympics while I’ll take the boy to the woods, looking for chanterelles. Life is good!
I love the Olympics, it gives me plenty of scrap time! Here is a double page layout I did last night.
Visby (city on Gotland) is known as the City of Roses, and that proved to be true. There were roses everywhere. It grew along the narrow alleys and the park was filled with every variety imaginable (and a few more). Here are some of them.
I used papers from DCWV and stamps from The Rubber Café.
Thanks for stopping by!

HI! Happy Monday!
I have a layout to share today! I had tons of fun to make this!!! I love scrapbooking, just don’t seem to find the time. I’m such a slow scrapper!
The page is about a favorite place – the Harbor in my home community. I spent many an early summer morning here as a child, fishing with my dad. It’s a magic place, and when we went there a couple of years ago with my son, I could feel the calm, the happiness and the love I felt as a child. It was a magical moment.
Here is a close up on the stamping and splattering. :) Said I had tons of fun making this!!! The border stamp is from the Scalloped Oval Clear Stamps Set from Prickley Pear. It’s wonderful!!!
And some clouds, even though the sky this particular day was blue as ever. The clouds are from the Hot Air Balloon Clear Stamps Set.
I used this fun sketch from Cocoa Daisy.
If you want more inspiration using the Prickley Pear stamps and dies, the Prickley Pear Blog is filled with fabulous projects by the DT!

A couple of layouts
Hi all! It’s FRIDAY! YAY!!! I soooo need this weekend! :)
I have a couple of layouts to share. The first one I made two weeks ago when I attended a lovely crop hosted by Mia – Hobbyhärvan - in my home town Västervik. (which, by the way, is THE most darling little town…)
I went there with Mom and we had a great time. Thanks Mom!!!
Isn’t he darling. 1,5 years old and in such a bad mood… pouting… awwwww.
Here is another one I did over a month ago. Time flies!!!
This is a recent photo, of my boy reading. He discovered the joy of reading last year and I’m soooo happy he did.
I did this page with my new Large Vine Flourish from Prickley Pear. Simply ADORE this stamp! :) Which might show…
And talking about Prickley Pear – today is the big release day of 5 new clear stamps sets with coordinated dies! YAY! There is a release party going on HERE! And I’ll have my blog post up tomorrow!!!
Have a FAB Friday and a great weekend!!!!

Beautiful lamp and happy birthday
Hi! Happy Sunday! I hope your weekend’s been a good one!
I’ve been spending some time in my scrap room, making a layout for my Barcelona album and a much needed birthday card for a friend turning 50 next week.
The page is about all the ûber cool lamps that was sprinkled all over town. Our favorite was this dragon lamp by La Rambla.
I based the design on a beautiful sketch by Jana Eubank and you can find it HERE. And I’m entering my page in Cheery Lynn’s Challenge 18 – Doilies. I’m using the magnificent French Pastry Doily on my page. The papers are all yummy Echo Park.
And here is my card using some lovely PTI stamps.
I did the card for today’s Featured Stamper Challenge over at SCS. HERE is the card I lifted – pure CAS perfection!
Time to make dinner. Thanks for stopping by!

Gaudi
I’m still working on our Barcelona Album. I make a page now and then and it’s slowly starting to come together. Might be done within a year… :)
Here are a few photos of the amazing Gaudi’s buildings and I went a bit crazy with gesso, mists, stamps and water colors. It was sooooo much fun! The layout is based on a sketch by Pia for Practical Scrappers.
And I have a card from last week too, I made this last Saturday for Card Patterns sketch challenge and The Rubber Café blog. But I never found the time to post it. So here it goes. A week later. :)
A lot of fab The Rubber Café stamps on this one. Clock and Butterfly from the Vintage Treasures set and the sentiment from my all time favorite Just My Type. I made the flower out of Scrap Happy Glue (THE best glue on the market) toile and a pearl. You HAVE to check this video about glots and fabric/fringe flowers out!!!
Have a wonderful weekend!

First layout of the year
Every time I sit down to make a layout I think to my self I should do this more often. I hope I will the coming year! It’s so much fun! The photos are of my boy and his cousins playing with a car at a mall. I took the photos with my iPhone and they are not that very good, but I think they capture the movement, the action of the situation (let me tell you, I was totally worn out when we finally came out of there!!!).
I used stuff from my Cocoa Daisy kits, the papers, most of the decos and mists and fun stamp. The design is based on this weeks totally gorgeous Let’s Capture These Sketches sketch #115.
I have a card to share too, a CAS card using the cute Pug from The Rubber Café.
Isn’t he totally ADORABLE? He is from the A Pug For The Holidays set. But without reindeer antlers and with non Christmasy papers or embellies he works perfectly fine for any type of card! The sentiment is from the Birthday and Balloons set.
If you like this little fellow and the other stamps from The Rubber Café, there is an ongoing Design Team Call out ending January 20th. All info HERE!!!
Thanks for stopping by!

Barri Gótic and 40
Hi! Happy Monday! Where did that weekend go? I had so much I planned to do but I ended up mostly running around and carrying wood. You wouldn’t believe the pile we had on our front yard when I started… You wouldn’t believe the pain in my b*t today…
The catching up with my blogging friends didn’t happen. Again. I’m working on it. :) :) :)
What did happen was making a layout for my DT post over at Scrap-Perra’s. My year with Scrap Perra is coming to an end, I’ll post my last project next week. It’s been great! They are having a DT Call out right now so if you live in Sweden and want to work with the nicest people around, hurry up and apply. All info HERE.
Over to my project. This month I’ve been creating with AMAZING Et Cetera papers from Bo Bunny. A perfect fit to these photos from the Gothic Quarters in Barcelona. Vintage… LOL!
The layout is based on the fabbie sketch #175 over at Creative Scrappers:
And I used the same line of papers for last week’s DT project. I never found the time to blog it, but now seems like a good time to do it. It’s with photos from my birthday last weekend.
I’m so in love with these papers that I think I need to get me a second batch. Or maybe the paper pad. Hmmmm. Big expo coming up next weekend!!! This one is based on last week’s Sketchy Thursday sketch.
I’m off to finish my Thank-you cards. Thanks for stopping by!!!

Wonderful Lego
I made a layout this weekend using my fabbie August Cocoa Daisy kit. The photos are of my son visiting heaven, aka Lego corner at Toys R Us. He could spend hours and hours there, if only his mama would let him…
But I do think Lego is the best toy ever (alongside with the ball) and I’m happy he still enjoys his own collection and plays both on his own and with friends with it. Wonder how long it will last.
I used this fun sketch #97 from Lets Capture These Sketches:
Work is waiting. A lot of fun and not so fun things to do. Have a great day!!!

Best Buy
I got my August Cocoa Daisy kit almost two weeks ago, but I haven’t had time to dig into it until last night. And wow, it was a gooooood one! I love the combo of colors! So worth waiting for! :) I decided to go for the August Sketch Challenge over at the Cocoa Daisy Forum and make a layout for our Barcelona album (that is coming together nicely!!!).
My boy bought a fan from a street salesman and he loooved it. Not only did it give comfort in hot spaces (like in the metro stations!!!) and out in the sun, it was an excellent way to hinder dear mom to take photos… Gaahhhhh. Well, I could take photos of the fan…
It was a super fun page to make! Thanks for stopping by. Have a great remaining of this day!
