Its been a while since its aired, but as promised here are some behind the scenes photos from the Simpsons parody of Wallace & Gromit.
Hey I’m Musa. I’m a stop motion animator and director. This is my blog. I’ll be posting projects I’ve had a hand in, things that amuse me, and from time to time, work of note from my students, friends & colleagues. Welcome to my little corner of the interweb. Enjoy!

Willis & Crumble in "Better Gnomes & Gardens"
Update:
Unfortunately the Willis & Crumble clip from the "Angy Dad" episode of the Simpsons has expired on Hulu. I will try to track down another copy of the clip to post.
However in the meantime I did manage to find a blog posting that contained clips of each one of the animated parodies contained within the episode.
Check it out!

In case you missed it, here is a clip of the Simpsons episode that I worked on. It's a parody of Aardman Animations lovable characters Wallace & Gromit. The clip includes guest voice work from Halle Berry, and W & G creator Nick Park.

Take a look!
It was a fun episode and contained several animated film parodies including Pixar, and The Triplets of Belleville.
We shot the stop motion at the Chiodo Bros. It was great to work with them again!
The animation crew was composed of myself, lead animator Teresa Drilling (who has experience animating the real W & G!) and assistant animator Tim Smyth. Both are old friends whom I've had the pleasure of working with before.
The shoot included some long days but I think it was well worth it!
I'll have some behind the scenes photos up in a bit.
