Do you feel anxious...me too...

Well, we got a taste of what's a comin'...springtime...
I was anxious to get out to the shop and take stock of what is there.
It's so hard when winter steals your fun away
and forces you to stay inside...but...

as the snow is melting, our anxiety level is rising...
and we are just itching for what lies ahead!

Yes, I remember now...all that fun stuff awaits!

Vignettes lie empty, void of life, waiting for the sun to rise on a new day
in my paradise...my shop slash studio...

Little bits of energy information are starting to crowd my mind with what will be
in the Springtime...as it moves ever so close...

...and oh so near...yet...

WHAT THE HAY...
Winter's stashes crash my party...
but not to worry, we still gotta buncha winter left,
so I'm not so worried about the piles,
they're only a temporary distraction,
soon I'll be saying...
GONE WITH YE...IT'S MY TURN OL' MAN WINTER!!!

When you're out wandering the streets of a quaint lil' Iowan town
and you see displays like this one out front of a store...
what are ya gonna do...walk on by...
NOT!!!

You're gonna fly through the doors to visit Wanda
and her darling primitive shop...
Wanda said not to take pictures of where she was
redoing cause it's a mess...well girl,
I couldn't find the messes, even her messes looked great!

while the peeps poured through her doors

Christmas is also starting to rear it's head here...

Everywhere you look, visions of primitives dance in your head...

Wonderful cupboards in all the colors of Autumn greet you,
filled to the max with great prim finds from all over the Midwest.

you simply must head to Anamosa and visit Wanda...

The building of a biz...or playtime...

Ya gotta shop!!!
I know, I know, it's a hardship...
a heavy burden to shoulder,
but somebody's gotta do it...
right!

...and display and you know what I'm talkin' about...
just when you think you have it displayed perfectly,
you drag in somethin' new and
the domino effect starts again!
I been hangin' shelves and fillin' the rafters
with vines and junk...
it's the way of it you know!

Picked up this great old gold curio shelf,
the gold fits well with the old iron headboard.
I'm not a gold kinda gal, but if the piece is chippy,
it's fair game...

Cool huh!!!

I caved with the 3 urns that were two-tone green,
I drizzled white over the green parts to
blend in better with the old white paint
already on them, sorry, the sage green I liked, but the bright green
HAD TO GO!!!

I scored on this great old portrait in this large,
dark frame today too...sweet huh...
and there's only one word to describe it...

MINE!!!

Every once in a while you gotta give the boss a gift...
