MFT Release Countdown: 7!

Hi there everyone! It's time for the February Release Countdown from My Favorite Things! We have another fabulous release for you so make sure and stay tuned over the next seven days for sneak peeks of the new release goodies! Be sure to head on over to the MFT Blog daily for each day's details!

I have two clean and simple (CAS) to share with you today that use the new Blueprints 12 Die-namics, sentiments from Lisa Johnson's new Forget Me Not stamp set, and a sneak peek of the new red rubber Striped Background! I've also used the Plaid Background Builder and Typewriter Text Background.

On the first card, I stamped the flowers with the Typewriter Text Background. The leaves were stamped with the Plaid Background Builder with Grape Jelly, Sno Cone, and Blu Raspberry inks. The sentiment was stamped in Steel Grey ink.

I stamped the inside with the Striped Background in Sno Cone ink on Sno Cone Card Stock.

I really love the off-set panels I've been seeing all over the card blogs and had to try one myself. The flowers were stamped with the Plaid Background Builder and the leaves with the new Striped Background

For this card, I used the same stamped inside as the first card.

Six More Days Until the February Release!

Below you will find links to all of the MFT products I used on my cards.

Friends Like You {SSSC190}

It's Sweet Sunday Sketch time and this week's sketch is AWESOME!!

I went clean and simple today because I was short on time. I am DIGGIN' CAS lately. So fun and different for me. I think I'm enjoying it more because it's not as hard for me as it used to be.

I used a brand new set from My Favorite Things called Grand Greetings. I stamped the sentiment in Black Licorice ink on a Clearly Sentimental Label Die-namics. I cut two Fishtail Flags STAX and stamped each with the houndstooth image from Spring Backgrounds in Bubblegum and Black Licorice inks. The flowers were cut from Bubblegum card stock with the Layered Rose Die-namics. Each was finished with a Black Licorice Button. The card was finished with three pink sequins.

MFTeasers Day 5!

Hi there and welcome to Teaser Day 5 for the My Favorite Things August Release! Today we are introducing Pure Innocence Pirate Boy, Grand Greetings from Lisa Johnson, and the Triangle Screen Die-namics. Head on over to the MFT Blog for a link to each participating designer and to see how you can win big just for commenting!

I have a card to share today that was made with Lisa's new set, Grand Greetings, along with my new fave Plaid Builder Background and Lisa's other new set, Spendid Sunflower. The sketch is from the Blueprints 6 Die-namics.

Here's the card:

The base was cut from Kraft and was stamped with the Plaid Builder Background in the new Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink! L.O.V.E. the new pigment ink. Look at that coverage!

I stamped the sunflower in Lemon Drop ink just on the corner of the card stock and stamped the center in Kraft Ink. The Lemon Drop pieces peeking out from behind the main  panel were stamped with the houndstooth print from Spring Backgrounds. The sentiment from Grand Greetings (you are going to LOVE this set) was stamped in Hot Fudge ink. I finished the card with sequins that my friend, Barbara, enabled me to buy :)  Thanks, Bar!
