Greetings and Salutations!

Just catching up with a bunch of events that are coming up and letting you all know of some swaps that are also going on that I'm involved with. First of all, As if we didn't know...Vanessa over at A Fanciful Twist is having her yearly Halloween Party on Saturday, October 17th this year. Make sure you sign-up to join the HUGE PARTY FOLLOWERS! This Event will probably take me a couple of weeks to get through considering the hundreds of Blogs that will be participating in this Event. Now, this Event "MONSTERS IN THE CLOSET" is a Swap...Meaning, a bunch of Artist come together and our Host, Zan from Wild At Heart Art will be matching us up with a partner and we swap our Art Dolls. I participated in the "Under The Sea" Swap, and my partner was Nicole Johnson from www.mealymonster.etsy.com. This Swap was a lot of fun and I got one of Nicole's wonderful creations. I can't wait to see who my partner will be for this MONSTER IN THE CLOSET SWAP. Now over at Art Dolls Only, we have our Quarterly Challenge, and it just so happens to be in the Theme of HALLOWEEN! I'm busy working on my an Eclectic Being in the form of a WITCH! Can't wait to get her finished! I will post pictures of her once she is completed. Over at DAG, www.darkartistsguild.blogspot.com we are getting ready for our 4th Quarterly Challenge which is "Monster's Under The Bed."

Whispers on the look-out...what's this..a little friend. Ralph decided to make a visit to the Mad Hatter Tea Party. He just couldn't help himself with all of the treats that were being placed about. Whispers will have his hands full once Ralph starts eating the custard tarts...LOL.

Getting ready to watch the Big Show... As Bella and Betts are watching the show and drinking their tea, Nelson decides to also make a visit...WOW, all of the unexpected guests today...I must get more custard tarts and little cakes.

The Sunny is coming out...WHOOHOOO...We were so afraid that the big bad rain clouds were coming our way ...they held off until around 7 p.m. and then a big BOOM came!


Little friends came to visit from A Fanciful Twist...we are in need of more friends...hint, hint...Miss Vanessa...I so missed your last update! However, the next one I won't miss!

Everyone is really enjoying themselves and just relaxing as they are all getting to know each other and share their little stories.

Bohemia Rhapsody and Vine Einstein are just hanging out...Waiting for...

To SEE ...YES THE MAD HATTER IS COMING TO THE MOVIES! THANK YOU TIM BURTON! Can't wait to see this when it comes out. Should be the Movie of the Year...well, besides "WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE."

I'm so excite to use them this weekend. I was looking for some detail brushes and picked up a bunch of different ones. I mean...Paint Brushes that were normally $9.89 a piece, I got them for $1.50. Man, you can't beat that! LOL Now I have some Paint Brushes for the Canvases I bought! hehehehehe

Now, I couldn't walk out of there without a GALLON OF GESSO! You know how I LOVE GESSO!

A Fanciful Twist Strikes Again...My Christmas Came Early!

I know we are suppose to wait until the big guy comes in the middle of the night and at the crack of dawn, we stand at the top of the stairs waiting for the green light...then all of sudden, pictures are falling off the wall, vases are broken, things go flying...but you don't care, you just want to start ripping paper off your packages! Well, I'm not 5 years old, but when my package came from Vanessa over at http://www.afancifultwist.etsy.com/ ...I felt like I was 5 years old! Believe me, there isn't anything wrong with THAT! LOL

Here are the new additions to my family....eeeekkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk I JUST LOVE THEM! Vanessa.....THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! You made this forty something year old feel like a 5 year old! Whooooo Hooooooooo

They have their little home all ready for them.... Now, If I just keep them from stomping around ...because they have to wait their turn in the magical house, I'll be ok! LOL

She is patiently waiting for her turn in the magical house!

This one is just not giving it up!

Look at them...Ok, Vanessa, I think we need some more magical houses! LOL

Taking a Couple of Weeks Off!

Hello everyone! Wanted to post and let everyone know that I will be taking a couple of weeks off to get ready for a gallery opening. Details to follow... I will also be preparing for my shop to open www.shodeehonee.etsy.com.
