It wouldn't be Christmas without the kids in coordinating outfits!

Happy 4th Birthday Carson!
Carson with his Train cake.Carson, the Train Conductor.Mama, the Train Conductor with her kiddos.Carson & Daddy. We had Carson's friend birthday party this past weekend. It was my first official friend party so I was a little stressed out getting it all put together, but all in all it turned out really well. The kids seemed to enjoy themselves. We made tickets for the invitations and then we played some train related games. The kids also got to paint their own train cars that were initially hidden throughout the family room. This part I was nervous about, but the funny thing is, all of the kids were actually really careful with the paint. Most didn't even want to get it on their hands. Happy official Birthday tomorrow Buddy, we love you!

My little peanut.Carson's been such a helper boy lately it's great! Here's a quick shot of him helping me with the dishes. I sure love my kiddos!

Halloween Highlights
Trick or Treating at Tim's office. Tim's whole office dressed up as the Star Trek crew...nerd alert! :) Tim was Dr. Bones Mccoy, Carson an Astronaut, Tes a Ladybug, and I am a Cat. Not really a family theme at all, but we still had fun!
My not so little Astronaut. This boy continues to get taller by the minute.

Pumpkin Patch & Carving Pumpkins
Carson sat in the wagon and tipped backwards. We thought he was going to start crying, but we started laughing and then he joined in. He loves the pumpkin patch. (BTW, the time stamp on my camera is wrong...apparantly).
Tes all bundled up in her coat, just a little big on her at the moment wouldn't you say?
Tes hanging out being sweet.
Carson's not messing around, he's laying on a pillow watching Daddy do all the work. Daddy carved a Thomas the train design for him. I'll post the finished products soon.

Where has this month gone?!
My baby girl is 5 months old already!
Instead of doing a Halloween party this year, our ward did a Fall Festival. They had the same carnival activities as before only square dancing and no costumes were new to this years party. This is a video of Carson and Sabrina (her Mom is the one who's house he goes to Preschool) workin' the dance floor.

Preschool Time!
Countdown to preschool.First day of Preschool. He was so excited to go! My baby is all grown up.Carson with his good friend, Porter. So when I went go pick Carson up from his first day, he barely even looked at me and then he proceded to walk right by me and get in the car with Porter. I had even made the extra effort to walk there to pick him up. I had Tes in the bjorn and then pushed an empty stroller to and from his preschool. I guess it's not cool to talk to Mom anymore. His friends are more important I guess. :)

Tessa & Cannon's Blessing Day
Tes was blessed in the same dress that I was blessed in, all my sisters were blessed in, my Mom and her sister were blessed in as well as their Mother was blessed in. I got this shot before leaving for church. Tes is so happy in the morning! Tes with her Daddy.
The Fam
After we blessed Tessa at 9:00 am, we had muffins and juice at Smolkaville and then we all headed up to Harmony's ward for Cannon's blessing. It made for a very special, not to mention busy, day. The whole family came to town and we just want you all to know that we love you and really appreciate your support! We are also grateful for our good friends who made the special effort to come share this day with us.

Man do these kids grow fast or what?!
Almost 1 month old already!
Growing like crazy! I had a panic attack the other day because I looked at these pics and realized that Tessa is getting big and fast and I have yet to get her newborn pictures done. I'm going in on Tuesday finally, but I must say that my emotions have been all over the place and I bawled and bawled on Thursday over being a bad Mom and not getting her pics done at 2 weeks. :) You've got to love the post baby hormones!
Carson loves to hold his baby sister.
Memorial Weekend Fun! The boys decided to have a campout in the backyard. It lasted until about 10:00 pm before they came in, they had fun nontheless.
Tessa and Daddy
Carson had to get a picture with Tessa and his train.

Tessa Elizabeth 05-09-09
6 lbs. 12 oz. 19 in. 8:11 a.m.
We are so grateful for our healthy baby girl. I think my doctor was so nervous about her weight because Carson was so much bigger than she was. Turns out that she is just fine, just a little on the small side.
Carson wasn't quite sure what to think about it all. He had to come sit right next to me in bed and he liked to play with the blood pressure cord while he was there. I must say that this C-section was much easier than the first. I was up and walking the next day where with Carson it took me a few days. I also wasn't quite as worn out as I was with Carson, granted I wasn't in labor for 24 hours beforehand. I'm sure that has something to do with it. :)
Carson holding Tessa for the first time. Too precious.
Back at home just hanging out in her PJs.
One week old. Most of Tessa's clothes are huge on her. I never did buy any premie sizes so she's doing the 0-3 month sizes right now. This is one outfit that actually fits her well.

Easter Weekend
So our Easter weekend, we'll just say was less than ideal. We did have some good moments don't get me wrong, but it was a little rough around the edges. It all started Saturday mornning. I was planning on taking Carson to the Kaysville Easter Egg Hunt in the morning, but he woke up around 6:00 am throwing up and continued to do so until about 10:00 am. He then got up and was acting like his normal self so we continued with the plan of going to Grandma's to celebrate that evening and then I started feeling sick to my stomach. We still went into Grandma's cuz being sick to my stomach has been a pretty normal thing this pregnancy. So we still went, ate dinner, dyed easter eggs as well as had an easter egg hunt. Carson then said his head hurt and shortly after threw up again. Needless to say, we kept him home from church on Sunday. Tim went to Sacrament then came home so I could go teach my YW lesson. Carson and Mommy are now doing much better, it must have been a 24 hour bug that we just HAD to get Easter weekend...RUDE!

Dying Easter Eggs
Easter Morning: We'll get the nice, dressed up photo next week. :) The highlight of his basket was the movie Bolt. These days he is NOT Carson, he is BOLT the dog.
