First time blogger has failed me.

I wrote a detailed post about this past month 4th of July and California trip, I saved it multiple times... exited out of it to finish later and when I got on last night to finish it and post it, it wasn't there!! Pretty ticked right now about it. Now I just gotta recap and it wont nearly be as good as the previous one but maybe you guys wouldn't of liked all the details anyways. But first thing is I broke my pinky knuckle colliding with someone in a volleyball circle. At first I thought I just jammed it, so I shook it off and tried passing again but when I did my hand was throbbing and I knew it wasn't just a jammed finger. So I laid low and watched others play then went home and iced it, thinking it would be fine the next day. Weeelll I woke up with the left side of my hand swollen and black and blue. That concerned me, but my parents and I decided to continue watching it and just wrap it up. Well it started to get even more painful and thats when we decided to see Chri...

Promotion and Birthday Stuff

Image
Yes I am ALIVE! (barely). Almost 4 weeks ago I got promoted at work. I know that was quick right? When Heather said can I talk to you in my office please, my heart stopped and I immediately thought oh no what did I do wrong?!! Are they going to fire me?! I sat down and she said Kathleen is going to be coming in as well, and then I really thought CRAP what the heck did I do wrong?! Heather proceeded and she was her happy self and said so how are you liking it here so far?! I told her I like it a lot and feel like I have the hang of things with staffing. She said oh good were glad to hear that! So by now I think okay I must not be in trouble because she is acting normal and happy so I should be good. Kathleen gets in there and then they proceed to tell me that there are some changes being made in the company and they were promoting Aja to Senior Account Manager and Sabrina was becoming an Account Manager and they wanted to know if I would like to replace Aja and become a Sales Coo...

The Cigarette Lady

Image
Well last weekend I attended my first murder mystery party as Cindy Butt the Cigarette Lady! Of course I went all out for my costume and stayed up til midnight making my pin box hat and cigarette tray. I bought fake cigarettes and candy suckers to have more stuff in my box to "sell" to the people. My role of the night was to hate on Nick for leaving me for Molly. I also was the town gossip girl and knew secrets about everyone and could sell my secrets for money. I then poisoned Nick's drink (which thought I meant I killed him) but then the Chief shot him after me and ended up getting accused for killing Nick. The whole night was so funny, and everyone was really getting into character with accents, and lying, and hustling each other. I was not very good at being mean and keeping a straight face, but I did a lot of snooping and listening in to other conversations so I could have the secrets! I end...

Nice to have a routine again.

Well this is my 3rd week now at ADI and its nice having a set schedule everyday. This semester I am doing racquetball again, and then I signed up for a competitive volleyball league which is so great to be back out playing on a woman's net and with others who can play! We had our first game last Thursday and we won! Thankfully we had an easier team to play for our first time all playing together because we were all over the place! Everyone in this league has been playing for years and then there is us... haha we definitely stick out but how sweet would it be to be the underdogs and come out on top and win the whole thing?! Anyways other fun shenanigans lately have been Tyler Binghams 21st birthday party! I threw him a Luau themed party and everyone came in Hawaiian outfits, we had pina colada's, BBQ, mac salad, coconut cake, my hammock was set up, and then my favorite decoration of all was the "Hey Girl" meme's with Tyler's faces all over the backyard and fr...

That one time I had no obligations for 4 weeks was pretty fantastic.

Image
Wow, this past month was a freakin BLAST! It was sooo nice not having any obligations or responsibilities for 4 weeks. My typical day consisted of waking up and either going to my spinning class, playing racquetball, or going to the lake. Then I would work on stuff for my mom, work on videos, run errans, make healthy yummy food, and clean! It was great. Few highlights were first of all I got called to be on the ASU Institute Council and at first I didn't think it would be too time consuming, and I would just have to be nice to everyone and encourage them to go to institute and plan some activities. Boy was I WRONG! This is going to be a calling that pushes me to my limits and makes me step outside of my comfort zone, along with being at the Institute Building every Monday morning at 6 am. YIKES! During the last 3 weeks of summer it worked out perfectly that I didn't have a job so I could fully dedicate my time into calling people to enroll in Institute and film ...

Back in the USA

Well I am back in Arizona for good now and what a great and sad feeling it is. The journey home was fine besides the hour delay from Houston to Phoenix. My mom was not happy about that because instead of getting in at 9:45 I didn't get until 11:00. Brad and I were going to freak his mom out by saying his missed the plane... but I didn't think I could pull it off and would just start laughing. Sorry Brad. It was great to see everyone and embrace their hugs. When I got home I thought my friends would be there because Haley, Lauren, and Andrea said they were so excited to see me today. When I walked in I expected them to be there waiting, but they weren't. I figured since my plane was delayed it got too late and thats why they weren't there. Bromley then told me to come check out his room which I did. Then he said go check out your room we cleaned it. I quickly spat back at him YOU cleaned my room? I cleaned it before I left. He said well just go look. I flip my lights on...
