Simple Birthday cards

Greek Birthday card

I asked my niece what she wanted on her card for her birthday and she wanted a Greek theme with Athena. So here is what I came up with. Athena is a photo I found on the web and cut out. I stamped the balloons with TH Oxide ink and embossed. The oval and laurels are from Tim Holtz dies. The Greek border stamp is from Toy Box rubber stamp company.

Birthday card

I made this card for my dad. I used the technique Tim Holtz used on his November 2016 tag with the linen stamp. I loved how this technique turned out when I made my November tag and wanted to use it again. This time I used Picket Fence paint to stamp the linen background with and then sprayed it with Blueprint Sketch distress spray. The end result gave it a denim look. I am happy with how it turned out. Also used were Tim Holtz mini clock die, chit chat stickers, mixed media die, Tim Holtz simple saying happy birthday stamp and clock face, postage stamp frame die, and game spinners.

Birthday Cards

The design for these cards aren't my original idea as I used a card I found on pinterest for my template. I used the Sizzix banners dies.

Mother's day card

My mom and I are big Cincinnati Reds fans so for Mother's day I surprised her with tickets to a Red's game and made a card to go with them. I went searching on the internet for a Reds image came across the one with "C". I then took the image and formated it in SureCutsALot so I could use my Cricut to cut it out with. I couldn't find the right shade of red dot paper and then I remembered the Merriment paper stack from Tim Holtz had one in it and it worked out perfectly. I really love how it turned out and so did my mom. I also used the Sizzix scallop circle die and baseball paper from Paperstudio (Hobby Lobby)
