So on to  our new challenge and this week our theme is

" Frame it "

although our challenges are now fortnightly, this is a 1 week challenge and no its not to confuse you, its because we've got something very exciting coming up so we needed to tweak the challenges a little bit so keep popping back to see what we've got up our sleeves!

Claire  I've used an mdf blank which had gone totally wrong and smothered it in Maimeri Light Modelling Paste, adding texture with a palette knife for my frame. Once it was dry I added colour with PanPastels (Raw Umber, Neutral Grey and white) and sealed with Maimeri Matte Gel. The image has also been coloured wih PanPastels, the fence was added using a White Graph'It Shake pen, full details are on my blog

Tracy - Hello sweet friends, I had so much fun creating and framing my art this week using Pan Pastels, Mediums and a Stencil Mask. First I created a little mixed media art . . .

. . . before turning my attention to the wooden frame . . .

. . . applying touches of Metallic Light Gold, Pathalo Blue Shade and Titanium White Pan Pastels to blend it all together. More Pictures on my blog here. xx

Terry Hey there guys, I had loads of fun with the Springfeel colours, used Gesso and Light Modelling Paste and a Stencil Mask on the background , PanPastels offcourse and butterflies from the wendy and her sentiment cause butterflies are fragile....More detaills on my blog......

Lou: I have made a traditional frame using dies to house my sentiment (new designs created by Nikky for PCB). I have created my background using a mixture of distress inks, pan pastels and stamped images .... however all my images have been coloured/painted using pan pastels!

The added embellishments are from Doobadoo paper cuts - buttons, feathers, swirls and butterflies. I have highlighted my flowers and leaves using a GraphIt white shaker pen. Full details of my project can be found on my blog and I would love it if you popped over to say "hi".

The winner of a fabby prize of gorgeous Premium Craft Brands goodies is .................

Congratulations hun!! Email us to claim your prize and then sit back and watch for postie!

And now for our Top 3, and my goodness what a difficult decision for the DT this week as there were soooooo many gorgeous entries

Well done ladies, don't forget to grab you Top 3 badges for your blog.

We've got some sad news before we start this weeks challenge, our lovely teamie Zoe is moving on to pastures new so I'm sure you'll join us in wishing her all the very best for the future and a big thank you for all your beautiful artwork.

Now, on to our new challenge, you can play along with our
Anything Goes
theme or if you are feeling adventurous you can join in with our DT who were challenges to
 use fabric/canvas coloured with PanPastels.

They've created some stunning projects to inspire you

Claire  I've made a canvas with lots of texture. I began with Maimeri gesso coloured with lots of Permanent Red Tint and white PanPastel, I used my beloved Flower Curl stencil with Maimeri Iridescent Medium dusted with a little gold PanPastel next. I used Maimeri Matte Gel Medium to apply the doily and added another coat to protect it. The flower was made with die cut layers of netting and fabric, again coloured with Permanent Red Tint PanPastel, I also brushed on a little Matte Gel here and there and dusted on some glitter. The little flower in the centre was  made using Maimeri Light Modelling Paste in a silicone mould

Terry I worked on a canvas with lots of Gesso, Modeling Paste and the huge stencil from Premium Art Brands,  First I played with the Light Modelling Paste and waited for it to dry up. Then played with the Metallic PanPastels. The Butterfly was highlighted with Crackle Accents and on the bottom of the canvas I placed a rose in a vaze with a sentiment.

Tracy - Hi everyone, today I have a little wish project to share with you all using the Barok Border Stencil.
It was so easy to pop together with the help of a few ingredients - Fabric, Maimeri Gesso & Matt Gel, PCB Barok Border Stencil, 2 Pan Pastels, stitching and words from an old book. Please stop by my blog to see more. xxx

Lou: I have done something a little different this week and that is to show you the first part and how I have used the different mediums and pan pastels to begin to create my project. Pop over to my blog to get all the details of how I have coloured on the material using these wonderful products.
