February 2, 2019 (Los Angeles/Flagstaff, Ariz.) - The San Diego State swimmers capped an undefeated run through dual meet action on Saturday, defeating Loyola Marymount 124-103 at the Burns Aquatic Center on Saturday afternoon. Heading into the Mountain West Championships beginning on Feb. 20, the Aztecs are a perfect 13-0 and have finished their fourth undefeated dual-meet season in the last six years.

January 19, 2019 (Los Angeles) - The San Diego State divers competed on the platform board on the second day of the UCLA Diving Invitational and were led by Ximena Lechuga Gonzalez, who placed eighth in the 44-diver event.

January 18, 2019 (San Diego) - The San Diego State swimmers defeated San Diego 138-126 at Sports Center Pool on Friday afternoon. Mia Ryan and Klara Thormalm led the charge for the Aztecs by both recording a pair of first-place finishes.

December 31, 2018 (San Diego) - The San Diego State swimming and diving team capped the 2018 calendar year with a pair of wins over Oregon State (134-120) and Incarnate Word (166-73) on Monday morning at the Aztec Aquaplex. With the pair of wins, SDSU improves to 10-0 in dual meets this season and 34-1 in their last 35 dual meets dating back to the start of the 2015-16 season.

November 17, 2018 (Columbia, Mo.) - The San Diego State swimming and diving team finished action at the Mizzou Invitational on Saturday, placing third. The Aztecs totaled 636 points, trailing only first-place Missouri (1,171) and second-place Arkansas (714).

October 6, 2018 (Fresno) - The San Diego State swimming and diving team continued a successful performance at the Chick-fil-A Invitational hosted by Fresno State on Saturday morning, finishing the two-day meet in second place with 963 points, 476 points ahead of third-place finisher Fresno State. Last year’s national runner-up, California, took first place in the meet, claiming 1250 points over the two-day event.

October 4, 2018 (Malibu) - The San Diego State swimming and diving continued its successful start to the 2018-19 season on Thursday afternoon, defeating Pepperdine, 71-53, at Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool.

February 18, 2018 (San Antonio) - The San Diego State swimming and diving concluded the Mountain West Championships at the Palo Alto College Aquatic Center and placed second for the team’s ninth consecutive top-three finish. The Aztecs finished with 1105.5 points, 144.5 points behind Mountain West champion Boise State.

February 15, 2018 (San Antonio) - The San Diego State swimming and diving team stands in second place after the second day of the Mountain West Championships at the Palo Alto Aquatic Center. The Aztecs currently have 451.5 total points after Thursday’s events, trailing MW championship leader Boise State (491 points) by 39.5 points.

January 19, 2018 (San Diego) - The San Diego State swimming and diving team defeated San Diego, 151-131, in a dual meet at the Aztec Aquaplex on Friday to conclude the regular season. The Aztecs finish the 2017-18 dual meet schedule with an 11-1 record and now look towards the 2018 Mountain West Championships on Feb. 14-16 in San Antonio, Texas.

January 13, 2018 (Los Angeles) - Six divers from the San Diego State swimming and diving team completed the second day of competition at the Bruin Invite at UCLA on Saturday. The Aztecs had a trio of divers finish in the preliminary’s top 25 for 3-meter competition, with Alexandra Caplan leading the way with an 11^th-place finish in the finals. The Aztecs were one of seven teams in the 13-team competition to have three or more divers finish in the top 25 of the preliminary round.

January 8, 2018 (San Diego) - The San Diego State women’s swimming and diving team defeated New Mexico (158-142) and Fresno State (179-121) while falling to Colorado State (153-147) in an all-Mountain West quad meet at the Aztec Aquaplex on Monday. With the loss to Colorado State, SDSU sees a streak of 24 consecutive dual meet victories come to an end – a streak that began at the start of the 2015-16 campaign.

December 22, 2017 (San Diego) - The San Diego State swimming and diving team continued a successful 2017-18 campaign on Friday, defeating Air Force, 199-92, and Cal Poly, 165-132, in a double dual meet at the Aztec Aquaplex.

November 19, 2017 (San Diego) - The San Diego State swimming team finished the A3 Invitational in strong fashion Saturday evening, grabbing first place in five of six events on the final day of action at the Aztec Aquaplex. McKenna Meyer, who captured first place in each of the three finals she competed in while posting a first-place time in the 200 IM preliminaries on Thursday and being a part of a first-place 800 free relay team on Friday, earned Swimmer of the Meet honors for being the highest single-point getter for all female competitors. The Aztecs had a 153.5 point lead heading into the final day, but as of early Sunday morning, official team results are still to be recalculated.
