What can I say? With the help of the Force, Star Wars: The Force Awakens shattered box office records upon its debut. It's the highest grossing movies of all time and with good reasons.

I'm positive most of us have watched Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Some of us, like myself, have watched the movie more than once. I cannot imagined a fan being disappointed with the story line, let alone not be happy to see the gang back with new fierce characters. One cannot watch this movie and not be astonished by the epicness. It should be a crime if you do so.

As I sat at home with my family experiencing Star Wars: The Force Awakens for another viewing, I couldn't help but be blown away, yet again. With such high definition and spectacular sounds, watching this at home felt like being at the movie theater. The colors are so vivid, then deep and warm, then it changes to another filter. I love how they set the mood according to the settings and even the soundtrack was on point. The effects, the CGI and the costumes were all real. This film was well executed that you feel like you're there. Everything was done with such care and the high quality details goes unnoticeable. Obviously, one of the many reasons why it did so well.

My favorite part of this film are the cast. I love them each individually. They're so amazing that each and one of their character stand out. I loved watching the Bonus section, as we were able to get some glimpse of Daisy's audition video. I loved how she is able to mimic the very same characteristic into the big filmed. How she delivered such talent. The way she shed tears while auditioning, gosh, I had goosebumps while watching her short clip. I wish we could get the rest. Also, I loved how BB8 is maneuver! Never did I think of the possibility that a man would be running around after him. I laughed so hard while watching this. I thought he was controlled electronically. And the fact that there is so many of of them... why not spare one for me?

Overall, Star Wars: The Force Awakens lived up to the hype. This film is simply amazing and the Blu-ray enables you to re-live the moment you first watched the film. So if you haven't purchase your Blu-ray or DVD, I highly suggest you do. Spend time with your family and friends and enjoy this phenomenal film.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

Star Wars fans rejoice! The day we've been waiting for is finally here! Star Wars: The Force Awakens is upon us - and I for one could not be any more happy!

Going into this film everyone has their own fears. Are these going to be like the prequels that let some of us down? Are we going to enjoy this story just as much as the original three that started off this amazing galaxy? Is Kylo Ren going to live up to Darth Vader?!

Let me answer for you....No....Yes...and ABSOLUTELY YES!
I went into this completely blind. That's right. Had not seen a SINGLE thing about this movie. Sure I had seen merch but apart from that I kept myself in the dark. Didn't watch any trailers, or TV spots, NOTHING. You might think that's difficult...it actually wasn't all that difficult to do. 2 years of waiting for this glorious film and I was able to keep myself in the dark.

I was thrilled though - I cried when the Star Wars title started rolling...the feeling in my theater was one of pure joy. We all cheered when certain things happened that paid homage to the original trilogy, we all laughed at the witty one-liners that Finn has - or of course when one of the droids is being sassy, we all gasped at every twist and turn that was brought upon us.

Everyone was worried about J.J. Abrams directing this film. Now I'm just worried that he's not directing the next 2. He did such an amazing job with this film - there were so many camera techniques that I was completely in love with. Some of the pans he use as transitions from one scene to the next were so beautifully done I would silently cheer just for the camera movement. He brought to life a story so many of us have been waiting for so long to see, and he did it with such care that I'm scared to see what the next director brings to the story. Abrams is clearly a Star Wars fan - I feel like this is the case with how careful he was about making sure nothing got leaked before he wanted fans to see it, how he's taken characters that we all know and love and introduced us to new characters that we feel like we know and love after seeing The Force Awakens. I could go on, and on about Abrams and my love for what he did with this story. But I think I should touch base on Kylo Ren.

This will be brief. I also am not sure if any of you were like me in the fear that will this new Sith Lord be as awesome as Darth Vader. YES. I immediately took to twitter saying "I still love you Darth Vader buuuttt Kylo Ren is my new Sith husband" because basically he's the best. Adam Driver - seriously...I've seen him in comedies so I was skeptical. But oh man...he did such an amazing job as this conflicted villain whose only goal is to become more evil. Seriously CANNOT wait to see where his character goes.

Rey. Rey is the heroine of this story. And let's touch base on this fact. We have a female lead character in the Star Wars franchise! I'm immensely jealous that I am not her, but I have to say I was a little more than thrilled to find out that she was basically going to be our new Luke Skywalker, per-say.

Again. Star Wars fans rejoice. For today we are blessed with technology that makes us feel as if we are living in the galaxy far, far away - and we have an amazing story that every Star Wars fan will be proud of.
