These spicy, aromatic beers have been on the market since 1995. Their seasonal and specialty beers run the gamut from a mild, pale ale to an avant-garde Peanut Butter-flavored one. With so many interesting choices, and diverse drinking palates, it’s hard to rank the best Blue Moon beers, but we’ll give it a try.

Most of Blue Moon Brewing Company’s beers are seasonal or specialty. In fact, only one – the aforementioned Belgian White – is easily available year-round, in most stores or pubs, in bottles and on tap. The Belgian White is best known for its citrus-zest flavor, and most tap houses worth their malt will slap an orange wedge into your pint before sliding it down the bar. Over the last 20 years, many microbrews have paid homage to Blue Moon's bestseller, which makes it not only a stand-out of the brand, but undeniably the most popular brew on the company’s roster.

Less-imbibed, but still tasty, formulas include the seasonal Valencia Grove Amber, Harvest Pumpkin Ale and Mountain Abbey Ale. The specialty brews list Blackberry Tart Ale, Caramel Apple Spiced Ale, and Raspberry Cream Ale among their flavors. Rounding out the list of top Blue Moon Brewing Company beers are the discontinued recipes: Grand Cru, Summer Honey Wheat, and Spiced Amber Ale. According to the Blue Moon Brewing Company site, an additional concoction is poised to debut, for a limited run, in November of 2013.
