Why wouldn't Favre want to leave?
He has been wasted for almost ten years now with poor receivers and the last 4 have been a complete disaster. The team is terrible...they are lucky they play other very terrible teams to get that 8-8 record last year. Favre has one or two more years left, why waste them in a program that has no clue what it is doing?

My liberal wife celebrated the rumor. Anyone, anything that is successful for any ltngth of time she wants retired. She wants Farve gone, period. She thinks he made his money. He should step aside and give someone else a chance.
She forgets that all jobs on a football team are earned, but isn't that a trait of most liberals? They think everything is allotted and is a zero sum game.
TT isn't dumb enough to trade Farve. If he did, he'd need more than the Federal Witness Protection Program because he'd never get Farve's worth in players and/or draft picks.
I just read where Favre wanted the Pack to pick up Randy Moss. They didn't and Moss is in New England or Buffalo or someplace. Favre must really want one more badly if he's willing to take on a piece of shit like Randy Moss. But he'd only frustrate. One good pop early on and that twiggy tough-talker would be hearing footsteps all day.
