Hey everyone! Today post is more of a toot! I just found out yesterday that I was the runner up on Kaisercraft's July Saturday Sketches! I'm so exited about it and pleased with how my layout turned out!

wednesday...Heartfelt Creations DT!

I'm really exited to announce that I made the Heartfelt Creations DT!

I first saw their gorgeous stamps and dies in Lisa Gregory's layouts and fell in love with them immediately! Now, I'm by no means a stamper but their stamps are absolutely gorgeous and so easy to use and do you know what's the best part? Some of them come with a custom matching spellbinders die! I'm honored to be part of this team and can't wait to start designing with their stamps and dies! Stay tuned because this is going to be so much fun!

wednesday...OMG! I can't believe that I made it!

Wow! Ok, I have some news but I'll start in the beginning... So, I've been following Lisa Gregory's blog every Wednesday because that's when they reveal their Heartfelt Creation projects (and I LOVE what she makes with their stamps!) and I'm lazy so I start with Lisa's and then hop over to the Heartfelt Creation site from her blog. Well, they had a DT call that ended Sept. 30 and I figured that I'll throw my name in the hat. I guess hoping to be chosen but not really expecting it, if you know what I mean. Well, they released the semi-finalists today on the blog and guess what? YUP, I made it to the semifinalist list! This means that I'll be competing with 19 other ladies for the DT! I'm so exited and honored to even be considered for the Dt have made it to as a semifinalist! I am by no means a stamper (I think?) but I absolutely love Heartfelt Creations stamps!!!!

Thanks Heartfelt Creations for the opportunity and let the second round for the final DT begin!  :)

friday...again!

Well, I came home today to awesome news! Kristine has asked me to join Creative Scrappers as a sketch artist and of course that I said yes! So, look out for my sketches in the Creative Scrappers blog starting on February! I'm so exited and can't wait to start designing! Here's the announcement on the Creative Scrappers blog.

Well, I have some awesome news today! I've finally been published!



I have two layouts published in the Dec. edition of Scrapbook News and Review online magazine! My friend Wendy also featured my handmade poinsettias tutorial in this edition! I'm so exited!

Now, on to more news...
Tomorrow my hubby and I are leaving on a 4 day cruise to Key West & Mexico and we are so exited and looking forwards to just relaxing!

I have some exiting news to share with you!
I received an e-mail yesterday afternoon from Irene Swain who writes for The Examiner in Miami. Here's what she wrote: "Your "With This Ring I Thee Wed" layout has been chosen as one of two winners in the paper category of Examiner's week 5 wedding-themed scrapbook contest." I'm very exited about this! Here's her online article about my layout which happens to be one of my favorite.

On another note, I finished a digi double layout today.


The left page is based on Sketchy Thursdays' sketch for this week which I liked a lot. Of course, I added another page since I wanted to make a double layout for these pictures.
