VALENTINE STRAWBERRIES

Nothing says Valentines Day more then hearts and chocolate dipped strawberries....
Not these exactly, because they are some of my faux food.....Mr. S. keeps eyeing them  even though he knows they are not real...
I love these faux strawberries and cupcakes...Think I will make some Valentine strawberries...
One of the reasons I love faux food is for their decorative value after the real thing is eaten...lets face it we all can't eat enough to keep these pretty plates looking full...these simple items I have used today just say Valentines Day.....so for everyday use, these  can be an easy and economical way for you to add just a touch of Happy for the month of February....and sometimes thats all you need to make your home say" Happy Easter", or "Your my Valentine" or even "Yay spring is here..".
Love  useing some of my pretty cake stands and pie plates and decorative dishes to present the food...I mean if you wait for a special occasion to bring out your wonderful silver or crystal...they don't get a chance to be on stage much....
I sure have gotten a lot of use out of this ebay tea set...so many compliments...I think for Easter I will to incorporate a few eggs and bunnies....lol
Since this is a coffee and tea set, it reminds me of a special birthday gift a friend of mine received, it was a special tea that when you added the hot water it turned into a special flower right before your eyes....sooo pretty...I found this link..TEA you all are probably very familiar with this flowering tea, I will  have to give it a try...I think I will need a glass mug so I can see the total flowering, can't wait to try, I see they have a nice variety on Amazon too....
I think I purchased the plain strawberries from the GW for 2.99 for about 15....
Hobby Lobby has a few cupcakes and pretty little food things...
Couldn't you just stick your finger in the whip cream...
yummmm
Oh go ahead and have a berry, (just make sure you don't eat it)  lol
Thanks for stopping by for some Valentine smiles...I hope you are inspired to share some happy hearts to your blog...I love reading your comments and I love reading your blogs....

Country Breakfast

This breakfast table was inspired by the cute cow napkin rings....

and these old dishes with cows on them...They are only labeled (fine porcelain) they have been used alot and sure don't look like fine porcelein I purchased them for 5.00 at the salvation army store last year...

You can see the cows on the large and smaller plates...I have used Royal Stafford red checked plates for the charger...

This tablescape gives me the opportunity to use some of my faux food...Don't these danish look yummy...I have a lot of danish muffins and rolls...oh and a lot of fruit...I think they dress up the table....I am always afraid the settings might look like a dish sale...lol

This one is one of my favorites.....

Strawberry anyone...

The hay is left over from the pumpkin display on Halloween, on the front porch...

We will be having breakfast after this shoot...only we are having pancakes ...and no faux fruit
...lol

I love breakfast...and yes I would love breakfast for dinner, but Mr. S will have no part of that...he will say "what do you mean...thats breakfast food"...he's a funny guy...Can you smell the coffee???

The place mats are from Pier 1, I purchased a couple of years ago...

I have really not purchased anything new for this table...yay for me...

Love this cow with the roosters on his back....

It is kind of cold this morning and this will be a real treat for us....

The jars I am using for orange juice glasses have been around for years, like mason jars only with handles...The cool faux piece of toast was a gift from my friend Jannay...

The farm animals are all just having a good time in the hay...Mr. S. is amused as he is walking by..or is he just hungry..hummmmm

The roosters are crowing for breakfast...

Have one...their not fattening...

The cow looks like he's out in the pasture...

Hope this was a fun visit for you, I always enjoy having you visit Around the House...Please leave a message and let me know what inspires you...maybe it's a great breakfast...If you are not a follower please join...If you love Easter time....I have been working on some special settings you won't want to miss..

Of course the wonderful hot hot coffee is a must for the best breakfast...

Don't the strawberries and black berries and pineapple just look so wonderful with the kiwi....
