Mornin' folks!
I'm heading out the door to work but I wanted to get this card up before I leave.
It's a just-for-fun card that I whipped up last night to play with the new stamps that arrived in my mailbox yesterday... who doesn't love diving into new rubber?! ;)
Because I wanted this new TGF Lounge Miss Anya cutie to have both of her big beautiful eyes to be showing I slightly altered her by wiping away her winking eye before stamping and used an open eye from one of the others to trace onto her face with my light box (if you want to see this technique in action check here and here).
I love these newest additions to the Miss Anya line and can see getting a lot of use out of them both 'as is' and even doing some head swapping to let a couple of the past Miss Anyas look cool in these funky outfits too. The wheels are definitely turning! :)
Alrighty, hope you all are enjoying a wonderful weekend... later gators! Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It
stamp- The Greeting Farm (Miss Anya Lounge set)

A final card...
for the Club Anya & Friends DT.
Hey there, so this is my last card as a design team member for Club Anya and it is for Kelly's Mystery Monday challenge. This week we are CASEing Kim Yu's gorgeous creation and I thought it would be appropriate to use Gigi, one of the Sprouts that I was lucky enough to design and the one that I think is the most like me. ;)
I really enjoyed this layout, especially the border punching along both sides... such a cool touch! If you haven't played along in a Mystery Monday challenge yet, I highly recommend it. They are fun and easy and there's always a chance to win a single rubber stamp from TGF!
Well, the saying is all too true my friends... time really does fly when you are having fun and I have had an amazing year with Club Anya! I want to thank Jess and Marie for giving me this wonderful opportunity, I will always treasure it and all of the friends I have made because of it! :)
Not that this means I won't still be a friend of the Farm... on the contrary, I'm just not that easy to get rid of! LOL

Boo!
Hello, hello!
Can you believe it is the last Saturday in September already? Craziness! I'm working today so no play time for me but that's ok. A girl has got to bring home the bacon, right? ;)
Especially when there is so much cute holiday crafty goodness to be had right now. Like the new Doodlebug Spooky Town papers and embellies... yum! I've been a Doodlebug fan for years and they never disappoint. As soon as I saw the new line, I knew that I wanted to pair it up with the cute Halloween digis from TGF, it's like the perfect blend of styles if you ask me and just makes for a quick and cute card. :)
I took advantage of Skeleton Ian and She Devil Anya being digis and decided to print them out in a smaller size, the same as the Amazing Duo stamps actually. That way they were still a bit bigger than the Spooktacular Mummy but I could fit all three together on a single A2 size card. Now they look like a brother and sister having to take their littlest sib along trick or treating with them... been there, done that! LOL
Okey dokey, I'm outta here! :)

My turn at Mystery Monday
Hello fellow stampers!
Welcome to the start of a brand new week, don't the possibilities seem kinda endless on Mondays? Too bad the feeling doesn't last much past Tuesday, LOL! ;)
So today it was my turn to choose a card out of the Galleria for the Mystery Monday challenge at Club Anya and I was drawn to a bright, happy card by Tanya Tahir with a clean design that I think you all will enjoy CASEing.
I had this idea for a Halloween card that I've been wanting to do and this challenge was the perfect showcase for it. I altered Cheeky Rockabilly into a She Devil by wiping away her dress and drawing in some horns and her slinky leotard... complete with a tail. Her pitchfork is borrowed from the She Devil Anya digi and just completes the whole look. When I colored her up I was trying to make her hair look a bit disheveled (like the Creepy Cake I used on my card yesterday) with those wisps coming down a bit but I'm not sure if I was completely successful... oh well, ya gotta keep trying new things, right? :)
Anywho, I also added loads of sparkle to her outfit which goes along nicely with the shine of the faux steel plate looking paper and the silver flame paper... too bad I once again could not get it to show up in my pics! But all in all I love how she turned out. :)
Well, I hope you get a chance to play along with the challenge this week and I can't wait to see what you create!
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It

Sweet Cakes
Hey there!
How's it going? I'm feeling on top of things so that is always good. I think it helps having crummy weather because there aren't a lot of things to distract me from what I need to get done, LOL! :)
So yesterday I was cleaning my desk and trying to get things organized a bit and this card became a result of that process. You may recognize it as some of the last remnants of that Basic Grey Lemonade card kit I've been trying to use up for ages and ages... along with a few other odds and ends that were just floating around. For the main image I did a bit of head swapping between the Sweet & Toxic creeper girl and the Creepy Cake Royal Pain digi, both from TGF. I have to say that I'm in love with how she came out and I like to call her Sweet Cakes for some reason. Probably because I colored her up like a sugary confection and even added lots of Spica glitter on her dress that resembles sugar in the right light... boy could I go for something sweet to eat right about now, LOL!
Anywho, have a wonderful Sunday my friends! :) Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It
paper- Basic Grey (Lemonade), DCWV (green)
stamps- The Greeting Farm (Sweet&Toxic set), Basic Grey (What a pear ladybug)
digi stamp- The Greeting Farm (Creepy Cake Royal Pain)
ink- Memento tuxedo black and Colorbox creamy brown chalk ink
Basic Grey alpha stickers
Crinkled Ribbon by Kiara :)
Prima flowers
Pink Hedgehog Crafts- Oregan Raindrops
Copic Spica glitter pens

skin- E000, E00, E11, R20
hair- E50, E30, E51, E53, E55, 0

Trick or Treat hop!
Howdy folks!
So today we are celebrating the release of the brand spankin' new Halloween digis at TGF and of course that means we've got to have a bit of blog hoppin' fun to go along with it! Which of course means that there are some prizes up for grabs as well. ;)
There will be THREE winners out of those who go around and leave a comment on each of the blogs- two for a Halloween digi of choice and one GRAND prize winner gets all 5!
For my card today, I used Creeper Bride completely as-is and then you know I couldn't leave well enough alone... I just had to give her a mad scientist creator, LOL! So I altered the Sweet & Toxic boys body by drawing in a lab coat for him and swapping out his head for Creeper Drummer's head (what can I say? That hair and those eyebrows are so Dr. Frankenstein looking!)
And check this out, I even dyed my lace with some Glimmer Mist to make it all dark and mysterious to match the rest of my card... go me! LOL!
Ok, ok... time to send you off on the hop and here is the list for you to follow:

Flying by...
Mornin!
I'm going to keep this post kinda quick as I am just not feeling that well. Honestly, I am dragging... ugh, I hate being sick!
For my card today, I have used another one of the new Halloween digis from TGF. This adorable witchy Sprout had me at 'hello' and I couldn't help but give her a candy corn inspired dress, LOL! I even colored the circle behind her in very light yellows so it looks like the moon (though my pic doesn't quite pick that up well).
Don't forget that all of the new Halloween digis will be available tomorrow in the TGF store. :)
Ok, wish me luck in getting through this day... all I want to do is curl up back in bed and sleep. Sigh, sigh, sigh, whine, pout, whine... ;)
Hugs!

Mystery Monday
Good morning!
Well, there's a brand new challenge starting up over at CA&Friends today and it is called Mystery Monday. Each week a card is going to be chosen out of the galleria by one of the DT for everyone to CASE. The creator of the CASEd card gets a free digi as a little surprise and the winner of that week's contest will be randomly drawn to win a free single stamp! Sounds like fun don'tcha think? :)
Jessica is kicking things off with a lovely card by Peggy Meyer (which you can find on the CA blog) for all of us to pull inspiration from. I decided to give Sassenach Anya the 'big head' treatment since I could play with the sizing, her being a digi and all... how could I resist all of that fun curly hair?! Then I just paired her with some more of that yummy Crate Restoration paper and the card came together rather quickly from there. :)
We hope you can join the fun and play along with the new challenge this week!
TTFN! Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and PTI

Sweet September blog hop!
Hello everyone!
Welcome all to the "SWEET SEPTEMBER" blog hop featuring our Farmers, Team Anya, and our beloved Critter Crew! All three of our teams are joining forces today to bring you one sweet blog hop with The Greeting Farm!
Just to recap, the new releases, "Sweet and Toxic", "Oh, Boy" Ian, and Sweet Anya are now in the TGF Store! Also, three new Marina Neira critters are available as digital downloads for instant gratification! Woo hoo!
My card today uses the boy Creeper from the Sweet & Toxic set... isn't he an awesome little dude?! I accidentally cut off one of his wings when I was trimming him out but I remedied that situation by using some big rub-on wings behind him on the card. I think they work within the rock and roll-ish vibe I was going for with this one. ;)
Now be sure to stop by the TGF Blog if you are just beginning the hop and make it all the way to the CLUB ANYA & FRIENDS blog through the end to see the endless possibilities with this month's cute new additions to the Farm and to leave your comments along the way...there are some SWEET prizes to be had if you do!
Prizes? Did someone say PRIZES?
Yes indeed! To sweeten the deal today in celebration of these new releases, there will be individual prizes given out as well as one ENTIRE release to a lucky winner! Yep, that's a lot of prizes! Here's what's up for grabs:
1 winner will be chosen to win the SWEET & TOXIC SET
1 winner will be chosen to win the SWEET ANYA Stamp
1 winner will be chosen to win the OH, BOY IAN Stamp
1 winner will be chosen to win the THREE NEW CC DIGIS
and ONE GRAND PRIZE WINNER will receive THE ENTIRE RELEASE for SEPTEMBER!!!
That's a LOT of chances to win! So go, hop, and be merry :)

It's all about the hair...
Hey there friends!
Are you doing a double take? No your eyes are not deceiving you... there is a brand new Creeper gal on the Farm! I gotta admit that she is my new fave Creeper and she is actually part of the Sweet & Toxic 4x6 set where she comes accompanied by the very first Creeper dude to see rubber! Now, the Farmers over at the TGF blog are the ones doing the official preview today so be sure to skip on over and check out all of their fab cards using this new set!
Even though I'm not part of the official preview today, I just had to use her because she is the perfect tie in to the big announcement that I have to share with y'all. :)
So I've been asked if I would share how I color hair with my Copic markers and I'm excited to say that my very first video tutorial is now up over on the Color Me Copic blog! For my first time out I have gone with a curly hair tutorial that I hope you all enjoy. Seriously, I have never done anything like this before so it may be a bit rough around the edges and I swear I don't usually talk like Bob Ross in my everyday life either, LOL! But at the very least you will see my process and if you like it there is a 'feathered straight hair' tutorial following shortly. ;)
I can't wait to see what you gals think and if there is anything else you are interested in seeing me do a video of just let me know here and I will do my best to put something together.
But the fun doesn't end there! There is also a new CMC challenge to go along with the video that is being sponsored by Sweet November Stamps! Surprise, surprise it is a 'coloring curly hair' challenge and the winner will get one of the new SNS September release stamps! I really can't wait to see what you all do! :)

Yee-haw!
Howdy folks!
It's Monday morning and that means I've got a Monday Mania challenge card to share. This week the cutie patootie miss Jenny V. is hosting and she wants everyone to 'make a scene' with their cards. :)
When Jenny filled me in on the theme of her challenge I knew exactly what I wanted to do. You see, I've had this sheet of Creative Imaginations paper for at least a year and I always thought that it would be fun to pair with Wild West Anya, but I just never got around to actually putting the two together. So no more excuses, it was finally time to cut into that paper and get it on a card! To give the scene a bit of depth I glued the covered wagon strip right on the card and then I fussy cut the cactus and prairie dog strip and pop dotted it above the wagons along with Anya. I did also alter Anya up just a bit by wiping away her open mouth with a baby wipe before stamping then drew in her new cocky little smirk... I wonder if she is thinking about ropin' that prairie dog? Wrong kind of doggie Anya! LOL ;)
Aren't scene cards so much fun to make? I love telling stories with my stamps! And we hope to see you all join the fun this week as it will be the last Monday Mania over at CA&Friends. Yep, Jess is changing up the format and a new Mystery Monday challenge will be starting up before ya know it!
Alrighty, happy trails pardners. :) Supply list:
cardstock- Cardstock Warehouse Kraft and PTI
paper- Creative Imaginations (cowgirl scene)
stamp- The Greeting Farm (Wild West Anya)

Boy oh boy!
Good morning!
I've got some big plans today so I'm afraid I've got to post and run. :)
This is just a quick card for a little boy's birthday and I altered Awesome Duo Ian for it. I gotta say that I really enjoy the smaller, or should I call them "fun size", Anyas and Ians. He was the perfect fit for this standard A2 size card while still leaving plenty of room for my sentiment and all those goodies. ;)
Ok, well I hope you all have as much fun this weekend as I plan to! Later gators!

Shake, shake, shake... shake, shake, shake...
shake your... cards? LOL
Mornin' friends!
Well, it's Monday once again and that means it is MM time over at CA&Friends. This week the delightful miss Joy is hosting and her challenge is to create a shaker card!
Now I have seen some amazingly fabulous shakers out there... I'm even lucky enough to have one of Mama's beauties gracing my work space but I won't lie, when Joy emailed me about her challenge I felt a small sense of dread because I just don't do many of these creative, more involved, kinds of cards. I kept putting off working on it until an idea finally struck... what if I used an old plastic clam shell packaging from some embellishments to create a Halloween treat shaker? So that's exactly what I did... I like to think of it as the "lazy man's shaker card", LOL! ;)
Cheating or not, I really had fun putting this together and best of all it was still quick and easy! All I did was alter Creeper Friday by wiping away her headphones with a baby wipe before stamping then drawing hair back in to the empty space. Once that was done I put her head on Creeper Tuesday's body. I also added the witch's hat from the Spooktacular set to complete her new witchy look. Her li'l sidekick, Jacko is also part of the Spooktacular set. To finish it all off I added gems for stars and a rub-on sentiment to the outside of the plastic container.

Button, button...
Good morning, please scroll down for Kris' baby shower blog hop post... thanks!
Just a quickie to share with everyone the fantastic Monday Mania challenge that Sheng is hosting over at the CA&Friends blog this week. Its all about the buttons for this one and the funkier the better according to Sheng! :)
Well the funkiest buttons that I have are these Jenni Bowlin ones, and their vintage vibe seemed to go perfectly with the new Sassafras Indie Girl papers that I've fallen in love with. All that I had left to do was figure out which stamp would complete the scene perfectly.
As I was flipping through my Wild Sprouts, little Miko caught my eye... probably because I think her dress looks a bit old fashioned. But because I wanted her to have wide open eyes for this card I knew that I would have to do a bit of altering before she would be card ready. And since I was already wiping away her eyes I decided to also wipe away the heart barrette from the one side of her hair and draw in a matching bow instead. Then I just used my light box to trace DeeDee sprouts eyes onto Miko's face.
If you're feeling adventurous and have some good black drawing pens (I use Copic multiliners) this kind of altering is only a bit more involved than a head swap but can be a lot of fun!
Ok, time for you to go dig through that jar of buttons and see what you can come up with for the challenge! :)

All about the altering
Good morning!
So did you all have a fab time on the TGF anniversary hop or what?! There is just SO much talent and inspiration out there and I love how these hops showcase all that TGF love! :)
Speaking of TGF love... we've got a new Monday Mania challenge over at CA&Friends and this week it is being hosted by Joni! Joni chose one of my favorite techniques and that is altering or "morphing" two different stamped images together. I decided to combine two of my newest Anyas together for this card and I used Sunshine Anya's head with Flirty Anya's body. Now Anya has those great pigtails and smilie eyes with that fab flirty dress... love it!
I'm tellin' ya, if you haven't tried swapping heads, now is the week to do it! Not only will you have a chance to win a new stamp to add to your altering arsenal but you just might get hooked on the limitless possibilities a simple snip, switch and glue can create. ;)

TGF 2 year anniversary blog hop!
Hello, hello!
Today's the big day... all of the August stamps are now available in the TGF store! That includes; Flirty Anya, Creepers Tuesday and Friday, the Later SK8R set AND the oh-so-fabulous Cupcake Anya digi designed by Rachel! Yep, many of you voted for her and now here she is! :)
Not only that but I'm also excited to be participating in this HUGE TGF 2 year anniversary blog hop with all of you! I started my blog so that I could participate in last year's celebration and it's hard for me to believe that another amazing year has passed so quickly. Here's to many more years of TGF fun! :)
For a complete list of all the customers and DT hopping along today just check out the TGF blog... all the info you need will be right there. And we've also got a fun (and quick) chat starting up over on the PCP page right now too... it will run from 7-8 CST. All prizes will all be announced tomorrow morning on the TGF blog.
I thought it would be appropriate to make a birthday card for today and Cupcake Anya is absolutely perfect for that theme! She's so cute and happy and I'm totally keeping my fingers crossed that she makes it to rubber some day soon... hint, hint, wink, wink! ;)
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the celebration! Supply list:
