Clear Scraps Mixed Media Layering Stencil Video Tutorial

Happy Thursday friends, I have a fun video tutorial to share today because
everyone is asking how to use the new Layering Stencils from Clear Scraps.
I made this Steampunk Hot Air Balloon Tag using some mixed media techniques.
If nothing else it will give you an idea of how to use these super cool stencils!
Here is the video, pardon my clumsiness! LOL

Have a fantastic crafty day friends!

Fall Mixed Media Acrylic Tag

Hey there friends, well this TAG project taught me a lot! LOL
I tried using this copper paste on  it, but it kept flaking off, I was using the Clear Scraps
Fall Leaves Stencil/Mascil which I love.
But I had to find a way to keep the paste from flaking, so finally
I "frosted" the tag by using a file to scratch the surface. After I did that the
paste stayed on but I was sure to seal it with a clear acrylic spray.

glittered and added them for more texture.
Both the Mascil/Stencil were in the September Creating Made Easy Kit Club Kit
plus a whole bunch of amazing other items!

February Mixed Media Tag!

Happy Thursday friends, you know Clear Scraps started a new monthly
tag program and I decided to make my FEB tag Mixed Media.
If you go to the CS blog I have step by step instructions!

Nothing in life is better then glitter and hearts! LOL
I can be a fun tag or a birthday tag, I really just enjoyed painting it with
Krylon paints and playing with the Large Tag Album page from Clear Scraps!
Have a wonderful day my friends. :)

Since the divorce, it is so difficult to blog consistently,
working and taking care of two boys by myself just limits my time.
I wish I had more blog time, I will try in 2016.
So this is a project I created for publication and here is a photo tutorial for it.

Not Your Usual Layout Idea!

Hey there friends, I have a layout with my sweet boy Gage.
For this unusual layout I used a Clear Scraps
XL Shape base which I stenciled the corners with
Modeling Paste, then spray painted the entire thing GOLD with Krylon.
Not your usual layout style I know, but I love it.
It's my sweet Gage and his the picture shows the struggle in his eyes.
Gosh I love this kid. This one was published in SNA in July.

Mini Layout and 80's Style Card

Hey there friends, its officially Tuesday pretty sure I am ready for Friday! ha
I will point out my mistake here...
I have a mini layout to share today, I love making 6X6 mini pages.
I used the newest Avocado Arts stamp set paired with Clear Scraps Mascils.
I used Modeling paste then glitter, but I waited too long for the glitter, next time
I will do it right away, but I forgot where I put the blue glitter LOL
For the card I was going for a Miami Vice/80's vibe so I used black ink
then a bright embossing powder.
Just had some fun with it all. :)
Happy Tuesday friends!

Pion/Clear Scraps Mixed Media Frame!

Hey there friends, this week on Clear Scraps we are showcasing
Pion Design projects mixed with Clear Scraps!

This one is mine, it is a Clearly Framed Frame (Clear Scraps) that I created
I took the Modeling Paste with the Chicken Wire Mascil to cover the entire acrylic
front piece, then I let it dry overnight.
After that I rubbed 2 different shades of Mica Powder on it.
I created handmade flowers and painted the back gold with Krylon.
I was so excited to hang it in my house!
