Punny LipBoss!

I love PUN gifts. They show that you did't run out last minute, scrambling for anything that doesn't make sense, and that you put a little time, effort, and creativity into a gift. Just another reason I love my role as a LipSense Distributor.  I get to use my other talents for my customers, creating unique gifts!

"GOOD LUCK" Dance Gift!

I was racking my brains trying to design a great dance gift and nothing was satisfying me. So instead... I utilized the holiday that is right around the corner, St. Patrick's Day, and designed the prettiest gift basket for our weekend in Charlotte for the Hollywood Dance Jamz Convention/Competiton. The basket was all about "GOOD LUCK". Okay, so I do not think the right terminology is "Good Luck!" I think saying that is actually "bad luck", but since I don't believe in LUCK, but rather JESUS.... I proceeded with my dance gift for BOTH Lilah and her "Bull Buddy", Elizabeth.

World Class Talent Entertainment - 2019

Wow! Has it really been five days since I have posted? Life has been CRAZY, with a capital C.  I just couldn't spend time at my computer last week. There were far too many pressing things happening, like... Valentine's Day, classroom parties, basketball games, basketball practices, dance practices, and a dance competition just to name a few....

Blowing You Kisses & Valentine Wishes!

Today, I turned some ordinary lip whistles into the cutest Valentines for my kids to pass out in a few weeks. The lip whistles came from Hobby Lobby. There are (12) whistles in each bag and right now they are on sale for $1.79 per pack. The pack is a mixture of both pink and red lips. I purchased (2) packs because I needed (24) whistles. How did I spruce these lip whistles up a little? Well I am so glad that you asked.

Stuck On You!

“Stuck On You!!!” That’s my tagline for my LipSense business between now and February 14th (a.k.a. Valentine’s Day). We have some specific LipSense colors that would be PERFECT, if you are like me, and love PUN gifts! "Be Mine", "Sweetheart Pink", and "Fly Girl" are just a few!!! But, if you are NOT the creative type, HAVE. NO. FEAR. I spotted these ADORABLE cactus bags at Michael's Craft Store and I had ALREADY purchased Sugarfina's cactus gummies! And well, let’s face it, we ALL KNOW that LipSense is "STUCK. ON. YOU.", for at least 4 to 18 hours.
Let me help you give the best gift ever on Valentine’s Day!!!! And I will even include both the bag and the yummy cactus gummy too!

Blowing Kisses Your Way!

Bubblegum! It's an all time favorite. So every year, when I spot these adorable, tester tubes filled with bubblegum, I grab them.
I've done a Valentines with bubblegum, in the past, my tag line was "Won't CHEW be mine!" So this year really last year, I wanted my tag line to be different. I decided on, "Blowing kisses your way!"
I just think this color combination is so cheery and SCREAMS Valentine's Day! This entire box was found at Sam's Club and was ONLY $9.99.
If you are an avid follower you already know this, but if you are here for the first time... I must say, just passing these test tubes out as is, wasn't enough for ME! I wanted MORE details.
I normally make my own tags and printables, but I was running LOW on TIME, so I used this adorable and PERFECT tag from My Country Girl Ramblings' Blog. I printed the tag, removed the tag included, and attached the printed tag, to give it a more personal touch!  Caroline, the creator of this tag, used bubbles! I know kids love bubbles, but I think bubblegum is more exciting to receive. Either way, I am thankful for Caroline's willingness to share her creation.
See... it really wasn't that hard to make something a little more impressive for Jax and Lilah's friends. These particular Valentines were from Jax! ANY TIME you pass out any type of candy or gum, kids go nuts. This time, it was no exception.

I'm "Fortune"-nate To Have You As A My Valentine!

Being Valentine's Day is right around the corner AND I NEVER posted on ANY OF last year's Valentine's Day creations for the twins' classmates, I figured WHY NOT post NOW. Enjoy 1 of the 3 creations I came up with (below).

These adorable Valentine's are one of my all time favorite creations. I spotted some fortune cookie erasers, at Five Below, during back-to-school week. I had NO IDEA what I would do with them, but I had to have them.
When Valentine's Day arrived, I saw them sitting in my gift closet and I thought, "I need to put those to use!" So, I did. I created stole the cutest cookie and Valentine's Day puns from different sites on google.  Printed them AND STUCK them to the cutest heart post-it notes. from Walmart.
I threw out the fortune cookie inserts that were included with the erasers and inserted my fortunes instead.
Simple. Easy. Original. Unique. FUN!
THEN, I took it ONE STEP FURTHER.... I went to a local Chinese restaurant and purchased little take out boxes and REAL fortune cookies.  They charged me .25 cents each for the boxes and .10 cents each for the cookies.
I added some white crinkle paper to the box and inserted both the eraser and the cookie.
I LOVE THIS!
I'm "FORTUNE"-nate to Have You As My Valentine!"

I Franken Love YOU!

I am quite "frankly" obsessed with putting smiles on my kids' faces when they open their lunch boxes or snack bags.  When I spotted this darling, Halloween faced, bubble tape gum, I couldn't resist buying them. I decided to add a little Halloween love/humor by creating a tag to attach. Click here, "I Franken Love YOU!", to print your own.
The twins received the mummies and Ty received the frankenstein . I didn't want him to be embarrassed so that's why his catch phrase is a little more adult-like.  I loathe the work freakin, but felt, this on the whim phrase that I came up with, fit the occasion and the message I was trying to drive home was that "I love you!"  I think doing these sorts of things shows.  Click here, "Your Mummy Loves YOU!", to print this tag.
When you print these tags that I am offering, you will have to cut around the circle or you can use a circle cutter, that's what I did. The tags themselves are not proportionately sized. I was in a HUGE rush.  So... I hope you don't judge the quality and just appreciate the free gift.  LOL!

Just In: Hurricane Red LipSense!!!

JUST IN: My company is forever coming out with NEW, innovative ways to get our customers excited.  We currently have a collegiate line of lipsense colors coming out and the FIRST color released was Tulsa University's Hurricane RED!
It's beautiful and I plan to wear it today!
I have five in stock! Don't delay.  Again, these colors are LIMITED EDITION.
P.S. Thank goodness I have boys.  LOL! I enjoyed using their plastic football helmets, footballs, and faux turf grass to create this "tough" looking scene.

"YES Day" Results!!!

Well, "Yes Day" came and went and let me start out this post by saying, I WILL NEVER do that again! Write.It.Down. Hold me to it.
Above, I had the kids read the rules out loud and AGREE to all of the guidelines.
The twins started their morning eating candy!
Then they asked me to eat a kitkat mini and I had to say, "YES"! I definitely was NOT thrilled with eating candy at 9:00 a.m.
"Yes Day" included a trip to Target, dressed the way Lilah felt happiest. Ugh... This outfit is her go to outfit.  She'd wear it daily if she could.  Not sure why.  Socks and slides??  SMH. Unbrushed hair.  Sigh...
It also included: A Venti "Pink Drink".
"Can I put Target stickers on your butt?"  Yes! REALLY.
Goofing around on the shopping carts, making my trip to Target ANYTHING but fun.
Oh and where was Tyson? HE was home doing what he wanted to do, which was play playstation for 7 hours straight.
Lilah spent her $15 "Yes Day" allowance on Starbuck's and Elmer's Glue.
Jax spent $10 of his "Yes Day" allowance on PURE JUNK.
Jax also purchased himself a gift card, to Game Stop, with his own money. I agreed to let him buy himself a $25.00 gift card with ZERO hesitation, but when I got off the phone, that $25.00 turned quickly into $45.00.  YUP, you bet your bottom dollar that I said "NO!" on "Yes Day" and it was not a HAPPY moment.  The guilt trips were happening fast and HARD.  "You are already saying no on Yes Day!"  Dang RIGHT. One of the guidelines was that they could not make any permanent decisions and the last time I checked, spending $45 on FortNite gift cards is a permanent way to go BROKE for a 9 year old.
Apparently, these are the only photos that I captured. AND I believe by the time I made it home, I had had enough of "Yes Day" and said "Game Over".

WHY?  Because my kids were just too manipulative about it.  I would ask Lilah to push her chair in and she would immediately turn around and say, "Mom, can you push my chair in?" Ty literally missed breakfast and lunch and then had to go to football practice on an empty stomach. Lilah realized at 8:30 p.m. that not only had she NOT eaten one meal, but she also hadn't eaten any snacks with substance either. It was all sugar and that Venti pink drink.  After Cheer Camp, she was DYING and I mean DYING of starvation and her attitude was quickly being affected.  The lack of self-control and inability to make wise choices irked me. The unwillingness to be respectful and still desire to be a servant to their home and their parents was too much for me.  I truly didn't think that this day, which was meant to be fun, was glorifying God in anyway.

I wish I had thought this through a little better AND IF YOU CHOOSE to try a "yes day", I HIGHLY recommend NOT telling your kids that you are having a yes day and JUST SAY "YES" to things, all day long, that you don't normally say yes to and it will just SHOCK them and really make their day!

My kids are just too old and too smart, hence the reason they either manipulated the entire day or made absurd choices for themselves!  I learned that I am definitely a mom who is addicted to saying "NO"!  I'm NO FUN!  I feel bad that the day didn't go quite as I had hoped and anticipated.  I really was excited for this day and excited to see how it all unfolded.  In the end, I think both myself and my kids realized that it's a good thing they are NOT SOLELY responsible for themselves because their choices would cause them to be sick, fat, lazy, unproductive, broke, starving or worse dead.  LOL!

"Apples" For Mrs. Meredith - From Jax

Jax's gift was all about apples.  I know, I know! Teachers probably HATE apples, but I couldn't RESIST. I designed the adorable tag above too!
The little bucket, pencils, and post-it refills are from Target. I included a fresh, ripe, beautiful, red apple and some Marzetti caramel dipping sauce.
Technically, we could have stopped at gift one.  This gift was just a little extra because I FELL. IN. LOVE. with the post-it note holder.
#Learn #Encourage #Teach #Inspire #Grow
If you would like to replicate this gift, I am offering my free printable to you.  Just click here.

I have never looked up the meaning behind why apples are given, but my guess is.... "Fresh" Fruit / Fresh Start?  Haha.  I am probably NO WHERE close to the WHY!  Now, I am intrigued and will use google to learn about it.

Update: This is ONE theory.  I am not a BIG reader, so I stop HERE.

"According to Gourmet, in the 1700s, poor families in Denmark and Sweden gave teachers baskets of apples as payment for their children's educations. ... If your school allows it, giving a teacher an apple is still a kind way to show a teacher your appreciation!"
