Caffeinated Christmas #26 - Be Merry

Hello!  It's the 15th of the month and time for a reminder over at the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge Blog!  I'm joining my teamies for this one because I'm having tons of fun with the Wordy Mug digital set from Super Sponsor Angie Blom Digital Designs!

I used another great Angie Blom digi set for the background and Deco Foiled it in blue with the new Deco Foil Multi Packs.

I added the sentiment to the mug from the Wordy Mug set... easy peasy since you get a whole alphabet in that fun font!  I Deco Foiled it in gold.

And I cut some hearts using the Stacked Hearts dies from Brass & Bliss Craft Co from some pretty glitter paper.

That's it!  Easy peasy!  You have until the 25th to play along.  Head on over to the CCCC Blog for lots more inspiration!

Crafty Elves Countdown to Christmas-August 2023 Edition

Welcome to this month's Crafty Elves Countdown To Christmas!  It's the 25th and the day that my friends and I share the Christmas Cards we made this month!

After you leave here, be sure to head over to Debra, Michael, and our special guest this month, Shalana!  (Misty is taking a break this month!)

I've got four cards for you today!  Here's how I was inspired:

I started with some fun new-ish stamps from Rubbernecker Stamps!  These adorable Laughing Snowmen were released in July and I've been dying to get them on a card!  I created a couple backgrounds with the Snowflake Stencil and cut this one with one of the dies from the Nested Loop dies.

I broke up one of the sentiments from the set and used the You with Shadow die instead.

For this one, I used the Christmas Cheer Gnomes!  I used a different die and added some snowflakes to this one.

And heat embossed the sentiment directly onto the background panel.  And check out the cup in the gnome's hand!  Of course he needs some coffee.. there's lots to do!

For the next two I used the Unique Flakes digital set from Angie Blom!  I printed the flakes on some Mixed Media paper for the background and added some inks after and printed some on the clear toner sheet for the window and foiled both.  It was really hard to photo this one and it doesn't do it justice.  I just added the simple Winter Big Scripty Greeting so I didn't cover up too much of the snowflakes.  I used many of the same techniques for this one and the next that I did in this Therm O Web post here if you're interested.

You can really see those gorgeous snowflakes on this one!  All of the papers I used for these two foiled designs were from my latest Your Paper Insider box including that awesome purple metallic.

That's me for today!  I haven't done this in a while but I'm gonna start it up again!  I'll pick a winner from the comments on this post and on my Instagram for these four cards to get some Happy Mail!

Thanks so much for stopping and don't forget to visit the rest of the Crafty Elves!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Fall/Winter 2021 - Holly Jolly Everything

Hello!  I have two cards today for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and this is my final card using some great Polka Dot Orchard digital stamps!

I saw this Tall Thanks car with a coffee cup on the top and I knew I had to use it... it isn't a Christmas image, but I made it one using the Magic of Christmas set for the Santa hat and belt and that great sentiment!

I printed and colored all of my images separately, fussy cut them and assembled them together (rather than digitally putting them together) and cut the sentiment with a banner die.  I cut the mini slimline using an AJVD die from a panel of a gel press print from my stash and used a stencil to add a snowfall with some Glitz Glitter Gel.

I popped up everything on the card and added a few sequins!

And that is the end of the Coffee Lovers Hop for me!  Hoping to visit some blogs over the weekend and can't wait to see what everyone created!

Thanks so much for sticking with me this week and hope you'll come again soon!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Fall/Winter 2021 - Joyful Vibes

Welcome back!  I'm playing along over at the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop again with some new Graciellie Design and another great background stamp from Unity!  Here's how I was inspired:

I'm in love with the beautiful new Cup of Cheer digital stamp set!  It's full of yummy images and great sentiments!

I printed two of the cup and cookies images so I could cut out the cup and pop it up over the whole image.  I printed colored and cut out the images. The first one I cut out the entire image and for the second just the cup.  Then I colored the parts that would be showing from the first and the cup. Then I put foam tape on the back of the cup and popped it up on top of the image including the plate.

I embossed that beautiful stamp from Unity, Delectable Border Background onto a gel press print panel.  Then I added the completed image.  Finally I fussy cut a sentiment from the Christmas Cheer set and popped it up on top and added a few sequins and some Nuvo Drops to the Coffee snowflake.

That's me for today!  I'm linking this one up over at the Coffee Lovers Hop!  You should check it out!

Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop 2021-Give Thanks for Good Coffee

Welcome back!  It's Day 3 of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  This is my 3rd card for the hop and I've used some great Unity Stamp Co and Graciellie Design images!  Here's how I was inspired:

I created the background with my Gel Press and one of the great border backgrounds from the Unity Stamps shop!  This one is called Hot Mess (psssst... it's on sale!)

The other images are digital stamps from the Graciellie Designs shop!  I used a few sets.  I used the heart cup from the Coffee or Cocoa set and in word layered a leaf from Obsessively Grateful and a sentiment from Fall In Coffee!  I made the opacity for the leaf light so the sentiment would stand out.  I printed a couple more leaves from the Obsessively Grateful set as well to use as embellishment.  Printed, colored and fussy cut and popped them up on the cool background and added a few sequins!

In addition to the Coffee Hop, I'm linking up over at the Double Trouble Challenge Blog!  They are playing along with the Coffee Lovers this week and their theme is Coffee, Tea or Cocoa also!  Head over there and check it out and see what the optional twist is!

And don't forget to link up over at the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop too!  Lots of chances at lots of great prizes!  Check out what Unity is offering up!

Crafty Elves Countdown To Christmas-July 2021 Edition With Angie Blom!

Yay!  It's the 25th of the month and time for the Crafty Elves to share the Christmas cards we've been working on this month!

So excited because this month we have a special guest!  The wonderfully talented Angie Blom is joining our little hop this month!  We're using some of the fabulous images from the Angie Blom Digital Designs Shop!  (Psst!  Big sale going on over there on all Christmas sets!  Check them out here!  And when you visit the post over there for today be sure to wish Angie the most wonderful of birthdays!

Without further ado, here is how I was inspired:

I started with the fabulous Unique Flakes set!  I printed the Snowflake Printout on my laser printer and ran it through my Minc with some beautiful Amethyst Watercolor Deco Foil.

Didn't that turn out gorgeous!  And the cool thing is after you apply foil to a project you're left with a negative sheet where the open spaces are the shapes you just foiled and there's lots of foil left on the in between spaces.

I discovered accidentally, that foil will stick to an acrylic paint background when run through the Minc.   I grabbed a die cut panel that I had previously created with my Gel press and sprayed on some Ranger Distress Resist Spray pretty heavily and let it dry.  Although my experience is that the foil will stick to the gel press background, it isn't necessarily full coverage so I'm not sure if it depends on how many layers are in an area or not and I wanted to be sure I'd have enough coverage.  After it was dry, I was able to lay the negative sheet from my first snowflake background over the top and run it through my Minc... It turned out extra shiny because of the Distress Spray and I'm very happy with it.

For these two with those gorgeous background I just added a nice big sentiment.  I decided on the darker one to add some snowflakes sticking out from underneath to brighten it up a bit.

I love how these both came out!

Next I printed another panel and foiled it in some Glass Slipper Deco Foil.  This has turned out to be one of my very favorite Deco Foils... the colors in it are just SO beautiful!  I used the Merry & Bright Mug for this one.  I printed the sentiment right on the mug and added a snowflake and frame from Paper Smooches for a quick and simple card!

And here are the colors I used for my mug!

I decided to take the opportunity to make a pretty flat card.  Because this image was SO cute and was so much fun to color I felt that it was just right as it is!  This Elves set is adorable and that cute punny sentiment!!  I just printed both together as is and die cut them with a Mini Slimline die from A Jillian Vance Design! I just added a few sequins and that's really all it needed.

With these adorable little elves, I'm playing along with the current challenge over at Double Trouble Challenge Blog, Christmas In July!  And I have a bow on this one so I've met the twist.  Also, they are partnering with Heart2Heart challenges Christmas In July Challenge who is waiving their usual requirement to use CTMH products for this one, so easy to play along with both!

I used ALL of these colors for this one because I had three different skin tones and three different hair colors... so lots of E's.

And finally this one!  I absolutely love this tall, thin Santa perfect for a slimline from the Let's Be Merry digital set.  I was going to make him flat as well, but I decided to fussy cut him and the sentiment after I printed them and used a gel press background.  I added a few dots using the new Snowflake Stencil from CAS-ual Fridays and some Thermoweb Deco Foil Blanco Transfer Gel.  The slimline base was cut using a Slimline Die from Rubbernecker Stamps.

I popped up Santa and for the sentiment, I cut a Snowflake from AJVD from white glitter paper and twice more from white cardstock and stacked them together... adhered it to the top of the Slimline and then popped the fussy cut sentiment over it.

And the few colors I used on this one!

That's me for today!  Now be sure that you hop this very short hop and check out what my fellow Crafty Elves have been up to this month:

Also, there's a fun Christmas In July Hop/Linky Party going on over at BYSH Cardmakers Blog!  With some fabulous sponsors (including the illustrious Angie Blom) and lots of inspiration you should play along too!  And be sure to join the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers group over on Facebook for year round Christmas Card inspiration!  I'm linking up Santa for a chance to win!  Hop you play along and good luck!
