National Coffee Day 2024 - A Jillian Vance Design

A Jillian Vance Design is sponsoring the National Coffee Day Hop with the Coffee Loving Papercrafters!

I got this idea in the middle of the night and couldn't wait to make it!  I cut the mug from Hug In A Mug in yellow cardstock and used the Honeycomb stencil on the mug.  I stamped the Weathered Wood background onto brown paper.

I popped the mug up onto the woodgrain background.  Then I stamped, colored and die cut three of the bee from Bee Kind and added them to the cardfront..  Next I cut the letters for the Buzzed sentiment using the Mini Headline Type dies from brown glitter paper and popped them up on the mug.

Finally the tiniest daisies from the Dear Daisy stamp set were stamped colored and cut as well as some leaves from the Leaves and Petals die set and tucked around the mug.

Now be sure to head on over to A Jillian Vance Design for more inspiration and to find out how you could win a prize!

Thanks for stopping!  Come again soon.

National Coffee Day 2024 - Brass & Bliss Craft Co

Brass & Bliss Craft Co is a sponsor for the National Coffee Day Hop with the Coffee Loving Papercrafters!

For today I used the adorable All You Need is Coffee stamp set and a pretty scene paper from the Scenic Route paper pad.

I die cut the paper using the stitched rectangle die.  I stamped, die cut and colored the sloth with the big mug and popped it up on the paper.  Then I cut some green glittery hearts and popped them up to.

Finally I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock and die cut it out with the smallest of the rectangle dies.

Be sure to head on over to Brass & Bliss Blog for more inspiration and to see how you could win a prize and then follow along with the rest of the hop from there!

Thanks for stopping and hope you'll come again soon!

National Coffee Day Hop - We Fly Tonight With A Jillian Vance Design

We're hopping today with the Coffee Loving Cardmakers to celebrate National Coffee Day! A Jillian Vance Design is a Sponsor!  I've used the new Witch Hat Shaker Die set along with some coffee offerings from the AJVD shop for this one.

I created this background by stamping onto a white cardstock panel with white acrylic paint.  I let it dry for about 15 minutes and then ran it through my laminator with some Deco Foil and then blended some black and purple distress Oxide over the top.

In creating this I had tried to foil the beans onto an old gel print, but the ones I tried were just not old enough and took too much foil BUT never fear!  These make great pieces to die cut from... like that cup, the spider, the sentiment and the buckle and strap on the witches hat.  It was a good "mistake" and I love it!  I built the sentiment using one of the sentiment dies from the set and then parts of a couple sentiments from stamp sets (I needed a smaller one than was on the set).

Thanks so much for stopping here and be sure to head over to the AJVD Blog for more inspiration and a Rafflecopter drawing for a prize from AJVD and then to continue on to the rest of the hop for more chances to win!

National Coffee Day - All You Need

Rubbernecker Stamps is a sponsor for National Coffee Day and there's a new release for today!  These adorable sloths are part of that release!  It's the All You Need Is Coffee set and it's got some adorable sloths and lots of coffee sentiments.

I created the background with the Coffee Bean stencil and some Color Fuse Inks and added some clear texture paste over the top.  Then I die cut the pumpkins from a gel print and added some additional color with a blending brush and Color Fuse Inks.  Stamped, cut and colored the images from the sloth set and added the coffee pot from the Coffee stamps and dies.  I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and then cut it into strips.

Thanks so much for stopping!  Be sure to check out the Rubbernecker Blog and also all of the inspiration we're sharing up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog all week!

I've included links to all of the Rubbernecker Stamps products I used for today's project.  If you choose to purchase using these links I will receive a small compensation at no additional cost to you.  And thank you!

National Coffee Day Hop-Miss Ink Big Mugs

Hello!  Welcome back!  Have you hopped the National Coffee Day Hop yet??  You still have a few days and I have some inspiration for you!

Miss Ink Stamps is a sponsor for the NCD hop!  Miss Ink has lots of coffee and tea themed stamp sets, but I'm of the belief that any stamp set can be a coffee stamp set!  So I used the dinosaurs from Unstoppable for this one along with cups from Brewtiful and Just Be-Caws and the Big Mugs sentiment!  I mean... that's a big mug!!

I'd say it might be big enough!  Dinosaurs didn't drink coffee you say?  Well, see how that turned out for them???  They're extinct!

I used a gel print that I created with the Random Dots stencil for the background.

Thanks so much for stopping!  Now be sure if you haven't already to head over to the Coffee Loving Cardmakers National Coffee Day Hop post here and start hopping and commenting for your chances to win lots of great products!  ALSO!  Today is International Coffee Day and you'll find another mini hop and more chances to win!  You'll find that post here!  And Happy Day and Good Luck!

National Coffee Day With AJVD - A Cozy Cup Shaker

This is my second card for National Coffee Day!  A Jillian Vance Design is a Sponsor!  Today I'm sharing a shaker I made using the fabulous Cozy Cup die set!

I used the cup die and lined it up when cutting out a panel of Gel Printed paper using one of the Mini Slimline die.  I cut a base panel and adhered a piece of alcohol inked paper made using some EVO Paper and some browns, tans and gold alcohol inks.  I also cut a heart from the same panel.

I added some sequins and popped the panel up over it.  Finally a sentiment from Brewed to Perfection and added the heart and I was done!

Now be sure to head on over to the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's Blog so you can keep on hopping for your chances to win some free stuff!

And don't forget there's a sale going on over at AJVD until tomorrow (September 30th)!

Thanks for stopping!  Come again soon!

National Coffee Day 2021 - Coffee Loving Cardmakers-Ellen Hutson

Oh Happy Day!  It's National Coffee Day!  We've been celebrating all week over at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers and we're topping it off with a special hop today!  When you're done here, head on over there for tons of fun!

Before you go, hang out for a bit and see what I've got for you!  Super Sponsor Ellen Hutson is a Sponsor and the CLC Design Team is sharing tons of projects with the adorable Bear Cozy Essentials Kit!

Here's how I was inspired:

Isn't he cute???  You can use this awesome kit to make some Coffee Wraps OR ... well, lots of other stuff!  I used it along with that awesome Mug Card die from Trinity Stamps to make this shaped card.  I cut the cup from some gel printed paper and then added the felt bear using felt and dies from the EH Kit!  The sentiment on the front came from another EH set called Latte Love.

The card die has a cool inside layer with little tabs to hold a gift card.  And I used the All The Feels Die from Ellen Hutson and the tiny sentiment from a set in my stash.

I mean... adorable!  BUT wait until you see what everyone else has made... there are some pretty spectacular makes by some pretty spectacular ladies!

Head on over to the CLC and check them all out and find out how you can win some stuff!

Thanks so much and come again soon!

National Coffee Day - A Jillian Vance Design!

Hello!  We are having a lot of fun today!  Today is National Coffee Day and we're celebrating with a hop!  So many Super Sponsors of the Coffee Loving Cardmakers are participating and offering prizes!  Just hop and comment for your chances to win!

A Jillian Vance Design is a sponsor and has some fantastic Coffee offerings in the shop and I used one of my favorite cups today along with a few other things.  Here's how I was inspired:

Cute, right??  I decided to use the face from the Perfect Pumpkin Die set along with the cup from the Cozy Cup die set to create this cute pumpkin coffee cup... I'd buy that cup!  I die cut it from white cardstock and colored it with my Copics.  (I cut the cup first, and then ran it through again with the face because it doesn't quite fit inside the coffee cup die.)  I did place a piece of paper in between my die cut and my cutting mat to avoid getting lines on it from my mat.

I used a few other Halloween themed products from the shop along with some cute papers to decorate my card and I love that coffee steam from Cozy Cup and extra love it cut from black glitter paper!

I hope you are celebrating today if you love coffee!  You can be sure I'm enjoying a cup, or two or three!  Be sure to hop and leave some love at each stop for your chances to win prizes!

National Coffee Day WEEK with Coffee Loving Cardmakers!

Welcome to some more caffeinated inspiration!  All week over on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog we're celebrating National Coffee Day WEEK!  I'm up on the Blog today sharing a post and some inspiration with my Coffee Loving Teamie Robyn.  Did you know Sunday was National Coffee Day?  And we kicked off our week long celebration with a huge blog hop with 29 Sponsors and tons of prizes at each stop (including on the CLC Blog!)  So when you're done here, if you haven't hopped yet, head on over HERE!  You have until October 6th to comment for chances to win prizes.

Here's my first project for today:

I started off this one using a very cool caffeinated item from A Jillian Vance Design, the Coffee Collage INKBoss Inkpression Plate.  There are a couple great videos here on the AJVD Blog that explain the Inkpression Plates and have some great techniques.  I ran some mixed media cardstock through my Gemini with the Inkpression Plate and then used Distress Oxides in Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy, Vintage Photo, and Ground Espresso and blended them over the embossed impression.  I dried it with a heat gun and then pressed a Versamark pad over the entire panel and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

Next I blended some Mustard Seed and Vintage Photo onto some leftover mixed media paper and cut out the cup from the Coffee, Tea & Me die set.  I used the same paper to cut a banner using the Bannerific dies from Paper Smooches.  I cut the steam from Coffee, Tea & Me from some glitter paper (isn't it just THE most beautiful steam die??).

I wanted to add some leaves, but didn't have any in quite the right color or size... and as I flipped through my leaf dies, I landed on these awesome Autumn Leaves from Newton's Nook.  I created my own glitter paper with some more cardstock colored with all the same Distress Oxides and then heat embossed using Wow Clear Sparkle Embossing Powder.  I used it to cut the leaves and acorn from NN and another banner.  The sentiment is from AJVD's But First Coffee Stamp Set.

I'm so loving that INKboss plate and looking forward to playing again!

Next some Paper Smooches:

I cheated a bit on this one... I had colored that beautiful floral from Rosy Posy during the last 30 Day Coloring Challenge and it's been waiting for its turn on a card since... and that cup from Cuppa Sunshine was perfect to hold it.

I just love the room that Paper Smooches images give you for coloring and shading.  Not too big and not too small... just right!

Not to mention some of the best sentiments... love this one from Fun & Flirty.  I stamped and fussy cut it out to take up the least amount of real estate.  And that beautiful scallop from the Flaunters die set is the perfect backdrop.

I just added a few clear sequins to finish it off!

And!  Since you took time to come visit me here I have another card for you today:

You know in September I created a bunch of backgrounds using leftover die cuts from the Wavy Pattern die.  This is the fifth card I've created using those "leftovers".   If you'd like to see the others you can find my Wavy Card 1 hereCard 2 here, Card 3 here, and Card 4 here!

I decided to use this image from the Posh Planters set!  And since my background is a rainbow, I colored my desert sky in the same colors.  And those clouds... I LOVE these clouds!!

I thought the sentiment from Sunnyville was perfect!

So that's me for today!  I hope you enjoyed your stop!  And be sure you checkout Robyn's post HERE and you can find our shared post on the CLC Blog HERE!  And if you haven't hopped the National Coffee Day Blog Hop yet, then please do!  You can start HERE and you have until October 6th.
