And for our English visitors....

Hey there bloggers here is a little message from me, it is all about what you can do with the fabulous Stars Stencil from Dutch Doobadoo and yep it is for sale at Hobbyactief

First of all welcome at the Hobbyactief Blog, so nice of you to drop by and take a peek. I sure hope I can give you some inspiration what you can do with a stencil from Dutch Doobadoo. This time I have chosen the Stars Stencil.

I started out with cutting a Tag from Cardstock. You can decide for a small one or a bigger one, it depends on what YOU want.....the first layer for the Christmas Tag is worked on with the Pearlescent PanPastels. This time I used the Blue Pearlescent PanPastel. I also used the White Pan and the last layer is the White COARSE PanPastel to give the Tag a bit of a shimmer.

Oke so the first layer is PanPastels, on top I have worked with Modelling Paste and the Stars Stencils used with that. This Tag is an example to show you what you can do with the stencils. This way you can see all the different things you can use the stencil for. It is a lot of fun if I say so myself. I just love using stencils.

For the people who have never used a stencil before, you lay down the stencil on the piece of paper you want to work on. On top of the stencil you put the Modelling Paste and brush it over the stencil untill you have the print you want. After your done you take of the stencil from the paper carefully and you let it dry, you can even used your heattool to be even faster with it.

On top of the stars I placed some crackle, afterwords I placed the image on the Tags, a vintage image, some snowflakes from Dutch Doobadoo. Some sentiments, pearls and on top of the Tag Ribbon and Lace.

Thanks so much for your visit on the Hobbyactief Blog and have fun crafting.....

So the sides were stamped up with a sentiment background stamp....I worked on all the edges with Vintage Photo and .....

The sentiment was embossed with pink embossingpowder.

I thought a piece of white lace would look  nice on the side...so I placed that too.

I used the butterfly die and embossed the little ones and on top I played with Crackle Accents...and some pearls to finish them, the top of the box was worked on with a Honeycomb stencil and I used the Modelling Paste for it and on top the pink Embossingpowder, I embossed it and this is the result...pretty need eh?

PANPASTEL UK CHALLENGE #33, CREATE YOUR OWN BACKGROUND.....

Hey there crafters out there...today it is Sunday and  YESSSS we have another fabulous Challenge over at the

  PANPASTEL UK Challenge Blog

Our generous sponsor is

they have a fabulous prize for the winner of the challenge.....check out the store guys, your not going to believe your eyes, it is just fabulous.

Oke this week the theme of our challenge is Create your OWN Background.....and this is what I did.....

So what I did was.....I played with 3 canvasses and first started my background with Tissue Tape...mmm I was not happy with it YET....then I got the Dylusions Inks out and Sprayed some vibrant colours on it.....then I thought....perhaps play with the heartshaped stencil....so I did....I liked it even more.....I worked on the stencil with the Modelling Paste so there was a dimenional effect..then took the stampset from the Wendy Vecchi and stamped up a butterfly and on top some crackle....and at the bottom I coloured some lace with the inks and then I was having so much fun I could not stop with just one canvas.....sooo.......

So I took another canvas and played with the same recepy as the first one.....but this time I worked on the Wendy Vecchi Stencil with the Embossing Paste and embossingpowder to give it an extra rusty look....then got the stampset from the Wendy and placed those lovely eyes and sentiment on top....

So then I was really having fun with the two canvasses so I thought I would make another one...this one is allmost the same as number one....so I don't need to explain what I did....

So here is my finsihed project....the THREE canvasses....to give you some inspiration on your project. I had lots of fun creating these for you... So you wanna have fun too guys, then I suggest you come over to the PanPastel UK Challenge Blog and do join into the fun. And while your their, check out the individual blogs of my teamies, they made some fabulous projects for your inspiration.....

This week over at the PanPastel UK Challenge Blog we have a challenge theme called, ANYTHING GOES...so how easy is that eh? So this is what I made for your inspiration......

So I started out with the background.....of a frame yep.....used lots of Gesso and yes Crackle since I am a crackle freak lol.....and the background in the frame is made out of Modelling paste and a stencil and that fabulous Wendy Butterfly.....sure love that one.....

In the middle of the frame I placed a double heart, it is a small heart on top of the larger one and yess offcourse I worked on those hearts with the brownish PanPastel....and crackle....the sentiment Together comes from the Tim Holtz chit chat stickers.....love all those little words.....

And last but not least another Wendy Butterfly.....offcourse I played with inks and the same background.....getting bored allready....hehehe.....I cannot help myself but just have to use lots of pans, modelling paste and offcourse Crackle.....

And after my project was finished I thought I would make a picture like this....so you can see that it is indeedly a frame with all the above yumminess inside.....

And here is my project from the front....I hope you like it, I am very pleased about it, this was just what I had in mind .....the only thing the picture lets you see a bit of a curled up butterfly and that was not my intension....but anyways....that is what Crackle does to it......so I hope you like my project for this weeks challenge over at the PanPastel UK Challenge Blog....and if you wanna have that much fun to make an Anything Goes Project, please do come over and join into the fun.....and check out my teamies fabulous projects guys...your gonna love what your about to see.  Have fun....

PANPASTEL UK CHALLENGE #18, FAIRYLAND.....

Hey there guys, it is Sunday, so that means we have another fabulous challenge over at the

Oke here we go....
Our generous sponsor is

they have a fabulous prize for the winner of the challenge.....check out the store guys, your not going to believe your eyes, they have everything you need for making the most wonderfull projects so really it is crafter's heaven.

Oke so here we go this is what I have made for the challenge this week.....

I thought I would play with a Tag....a Fairyland Tag......

So the first picture I have for you is the top of the Tag....I placed a piece of lace on top of the Tag and made a bow out of it..... this time I chose the pink colour.....

The background is made with yep again the Heart Circle Stencil....I just love this one.....worked on it with Gesso and Light Molding Paste....that stuff is just amazing combined with the Stencils...AND with the Pans cause on top I have worked with the White PanPastel.....and in the middle of the centre of hearts I placed the sentiment from Tim Holtz in his bottlecap....she dreams...

This sweet little Fairy happened to be in my closet so I chose her cause I think she fits the sentiments that I have worked with...

At the bottom of the Tag I played with lots and lots of tiny roses.....I placed them onto the Lace from Melissa Frances, don't you just love that lace....

this sentiment is from TLC that I found on the internet and says.....Look for the Small Miracles and you will find they are everywhere.....and yep I think that is true.....The wings are from the Die from Tim Holtz I placed them cause I wanted to the Fairy to have larger wings.....remember every project I make has a message behind it....so the wings combined with the She Dreams.....what does that tell you....

And here is my whole finished project.....I am yep again pretty pleased with the finished project that I made....love the colours that I played with and if you wanna have that much fun too....then you should come over to the PanPastel UK Challenge Blog guys.....and check out my amazing teamies creations, your gonna love what your about to see...and my teamies and I made these projects for your inspiration....so come on over and do join into the fun.....

PANPASTEL UK CHALLENGE #15, BRADS, BUTTONS AND BOWS.....

Hey guys today we have another fabulous Challenge over at the
  PANPASTEL UK Challenge Blog

Our generous sponsor is

they have a fabulous prize for the winner of the challenge.....check out the store guys, your not going to believe your eyes, it is just fabulous.

Oke this week the theme of our challenge is Brads, Buttons and Bows..you can make whatever you like as long as it has Brads, Buttons and Bows on it......

So this is what I made....
My daughter Denice had this very old Pencil box.....how do I know that it is that old ......lol.....I know because it was mine when I was a lot younger.....and I thought it would be nice to make something different with it...so I altered it....into a NEW and OLD looking Pencil Box.....

So here it is....

I worked on this incredible Stencil from Your Creativity Store and I just love it.....I played around with lots of Molding Paste and PanPastels to color the Butterfly, placed a bow on it and a few buttons.....When you play with these Incredible stencils you get such an amazing effect on the box.....I think it is stunning what you can do with Molding Paste and Stencils....woww.....

The roses from the Stencil are worked on with the Graph-it Markers..they really work perfectly to color lots of materials, including Molding Paste and Gesso. In the centre of the Rose I placed some shiny Brads.....and the leaves from the roses are worked on with lots of Crackle lol.....I cannot help myself just have to use Crackle and lots of it, since I am a Crackle addict lol......

So this is the side of the Pencil Box and all around the box it has this light blue ink on it. Since my daughter just lovessss blueisch colours I played around with lots of them.....

And this is the front of the Box, just to show you that it had the original locks on it and yep the blue colours.

And here is my whole project.....I am very pleased with it....and my daughter really likes it a lot.....

.I really had fun working on the Pencil Box and the sentiment from The Wendy says it all eh? Just BE YOU......so guys you wanna have fun too....then I strongly suggest you come on over and play along in the New Challenge over at the PanPastel UK Challenge Blog.....you sure gonna have fun and while your at it, check out the amazing creations my teamies made for your inspiration......

Have lots of fun....
