Do You Wanna Build a Snowman?

Do you ever take a picture and think "I can't wait to get this into MDS!"???  It happens to me all the time and I love it!  One of my twins went to a birthday party this weekend (while his poor brother had to stay home sick...boo!) and was one of three boys in a house full of Frozen-crazed girls.  The party was Frozen themed and the birthday girl wanted all of her friends to dress up for pictures at her party and Hunter wasn't about to let her down.  Her mom sent this picture to us from the party and I haven't stopped giggling over it!
Isn't it awesome?!?!?  This wasn't the only dress up picture we got either!  He was a witch along with a few other crazy get-up's he put together.  I love that he wasn't embarrassed and had so much fun dressing up with the girls!
My sketch for this fun page came from none other than MDS Monday ...my favorite place to stop for some MDS inspiration!
And a Frozen themed birthday party can't be attended without a Frozen birthday card!  Thanks to the amazing Lyssa Griffin Zwolanek of Song of My Heart Stampers, I CASE'd her super cute Elsa card for the birthday girl!  It's always a special treat for me to make a fun girly-girl card...living in a house full of boys and all!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Pool Party, Bermuda Bay
Ink ~ Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana
Stamp Set ~ Endless Wishes
Other Supplies ~ Northern Flurry, Frosted Sequins, Basic Rhinestones, Silver Ribbon

Happy Tuesday to all of you!!!  One more day closer to the weekend....yippee!!!

Happy Stamping!

Freshly Made Festival of Trees

Never have I been so happy for it to be the weekend!!!  I'm not sure if it was the full moon or the blood moon or any other moon related event, but this week was CRAZY!!!!  Please tell me I'm not alone in feeling this way!  I felt like I was trapped in the movie Groundhog's Day, stuck on repeat...All.Week.Long!

In an effort to recover from all of the craziness of the week, I decided some stamping therapy was just what I needed.  With a little help from Amy over at Freshly Made Sketches, I found my creative mojo and got busy.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Soft Sky, Silver Foil, Whisper White, All Is Calm DSP
Ink ~ Lost Lagoon, Pear Pizzazz
Stamp Sets ~ Endless Wishes
Other Supplies ~ Frosted Sequins, Rhinestones, Northern Flurry Embossing Folder, Tree Punch

I'm kind of loving this tree punch and frosted sequins...they make happy!
Time for a bit more stamping before we head out for this weekends baseball game.  Only 3 more games left this season, so it's time to make some thank you cards for the coaches.

Hope you all have a great weekend and get some stamping therapy time in!

Happy Stamping!

One Layer Wonder

How many of you have trouble stopping at just one layer when you make a card?  It is the HARDEST thing for me!  I want to add more layers, more ribbon, more bling.  But there are times where I can stay in control and create a card with just one layer and I end up really liking it.
The girls over at SSINK are sharing some single layer cards today to give you some great ideas to create your own One Layer Wonder.
I pulled out my Endless Wishes stamp set (sooo happy this one carried over!) and made this simple, one layer card.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, All is Calm DSP (on envelope)
Ink ~ Pear Pizzazz, Lost Lagoon, Soft Sky
Stamp Set ~ Endless Wishes
Other Supplies ~ Frosted Sequins

Embellishments don't count as a layer, right?!?!   I won't tell if you don't tell!

Be sure to join us bright and early tomorrow morning for the SSINK Blog Hop...we're getting ready for fall!

Happy Stamping!

Classy Country Christmas ~ Merry Monday Challenge #98

Hello stampin' friends and happy Tuesday!  Made it through Monday without anymore crazy weather or ER visits...whew!  Here's to hoping the rest of the week goes just as well :-)
So, I've had an idea brewing in my head since Christmas, but never got around to actually putting it on paper.  Until today!  I saw the fun challenge over at Merry Monday and thought it was time to make my idea come to life.  The challenge this week is to add some country charm to a Christmas card using stitching and buttons...just what I had in mind for my card!
While this may not be a full on "Country Christmas" card, we can maybe call it a "Classy Country Christmas" card, right?!!?

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Gold Foil
Ink ~ Whisper White Craft
Stamps ~ Endless Wishes*, Christmas Messages, Greetings of the Season
Other Supplies ~ Neutrals Designer Buttons, Pearl Basic Jewels, Dazzling Details, Gold Sequin Trim, Gold Bakers Twine, Linen Thread
*Stamp Set no longer available, in MDS format

I am so happy with how this turned out!  It's always good when I can make an idea in my head come to life on paper :-)

And a little shout out to Mother Nature...just because I created a pretty, wintry card, that does NOT mean we want more snow!

Happy Stamping!
