Happy Friday stampers!
We are monkeying around over at Friday Mashup today with a fun challenge!
This week's challenge is to create a project with a monkey or a fancy fold...or you can mash things up and make fancy fold card with a monkey.
It's also Friday Favorites over at Styin' Stampin' INKspiration today, so I used some of my current favorites on today's card.  Can you guess what my favorites are?  You can head on over to SSINK to see what they are!

Zoo Baby Congratulations

Happy Wednesday stampers!  The girls over at SSINK are creating with some INKspiring new 2015-2017 In Color combinations.  Do you have a favorite combo?
My current favorite In-Color combo is Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe, Delightful Dijon and an old favorite, Wisteria Wonder.  These colors feel so calming to me and make me want to repaint my bedroom...don't tell my hubby!

This awesome sketch comes from the even more awesome TGIF Challenges.  Love all of amazing talent on that team!
Supplies Used ~
Paper ~ Whisper White, Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe, Delightful Dijon, Wisteria Wonder, Cherry on Top DSP Stack
Ink ~ Delightful Dijon, Wisteria Wonder
Stamp Set ~ Zoo Babies
Other Supplies ~ Petite Petals Punch, Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, Pearl Basic Jewels, Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder

Not only do these colors make for a cute baby card, but wouldn't they be adorable in a nursery?!?!  It's a good thing we are done having babies or I would be in trouble!

Be sure to check out all of other awesome color combo ideas from the design team and see you will be INKspired to create!

Happy Stamping!!

Zoo Baby Birthday ~ Stylin' Stampin' Squad

Good morning and welcome to April's edition of the Stylin' Stampin' Squad Blog Hop!  This month our hop is FULL of fun children's creations.  From baby shower invites to fun birthday gifts and cards (and soooo much more!), you are sure to smile as you hop along!

As you hop along, please be sure to comment and show some love on every blog! We are always excited to hear from our followers! You should have just left stop number FIVE on the Stylin' Stampin' Squad Blog Hop - Cynthia of Ink-A-Doodle Creations. If so, you are in the right spot. If a link doesn't work or you get off track, you will find the full blog hop lineup below.

A sweet little boy just celebrated his 1st birthday last week and I was so excited to make him a fun card and gift bag for his special day.  Pop-up books and cards were always a favorite of mine when I was little, so I decided to try a pop-up card of my own.  But rather than the pop-up being on the inside, I made it on the outside.

I created a coordinating gift tag to go on the gift bag...

And used one of the awesome bags from the March Paper Pumpkin kit to attach the tag to!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Marina Mist, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Gumball Green, Whisper White, Polka Dot Parade DSP
Ink ~ Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black
Stamp Sets ~ Zoo Babies, Four You, ABC-123 Sketched Alphabet & Numbers, March Paper Pumpkin
Other Supplies ~ March Paper Pumpkin Kit, 1" Circle Punch, Whisper White Bakers Twine, Real Red and Marina Mist 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon

Now it's time to hop on over to Jennifer with Happy 2 Scrap 4 Life!

See Ya Later Sale-A-Bration

It's Monday!  Another chance to start fresh and make this week a great one!  I live for the weekends, but I kind of love making a fresh start and setting goals for the week when Monday rolls back around.  This Monday is kind of a bitter-sweet one...it's the end of Sale-A-Bration :-(  Today is your LAST CHANCE to pick out a FREE Sale-A-Bration item when you order $50.  Don't miss out on any of this years fun products!
My card today showcases my favorite stamp set from this year's SAB...See Ya Later.  (You'll notice I used one of the MDS stamps in my Monday Montage post too!)
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Gumball Green Core'dinations, Coastal Cabana, Whisper White, Fresh Prints DSP
Ink ~ Gumball Green, Coastal Cabana
Stamp Sets ~ See Ya Later, Zoo Babies

Isn't that embossing folder the PERFECT added touch for an alligator card?  I am so excited that this embossing folder will be carrying over into the 2014-2015 annual catalog.

And speaking of annual catalog...it will be here before we know it!!!  This is the sweet part at the end of Sale-A-Bration!  I think I get more excited about new catalogs than anything else...and I know I'm not alone!

Zoo Baby Birthday

Happy, Happy Tuesday stampin' friends!  I am so happy to have Monday behind me...it kicked my booty yesterday!  As annoyed as I was that my doctor only let me work part time last week, I am thankful he did after my first full day back yesterday...wowzers!!!  It was a long, crazy day and I was happy to unwind in my craft room last night after the kiddos went to bed.
A friend asked me to make a birthday card for a sweet little boy who will soon be celebrating his 1st birthday.  She told me he loves the going to the zoo to see all of the animals, so I thought Zoo Babies would make for a fun card for him.  With some sketch inspiration from Fab Friday I came up with this cute little card...
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Gumball Green Core'dinations, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Birthday Basics DSP
Ink ~ Raspberry Ripple, Gumball Green, Summer Starfruit, Basic Gray, Bermuda Bay, Crisp Cantaloupe
Stamp Set ~ Zoo Babies
Other Supplies ~ Starburst Framelits, Alphabet Press Embossing Folder, Summer Starfruit Stitched Satin Ribbon

I'm having to get a bit creative these days with the photos of my cards!  The weather hasn't been kind enough to let me take pictures in my favorite outdoor spot, so I've had to find a few well lit spots inside my house.  I'm thinking it's time to make a light box :-)

Hope you all have a fabulous day!

Happy Stamping!

ABC's & 123's

Hello and Happy Labor Day!  I've been a busy momma today getting my boys all ready for their first day of school tomorrow.  Time to get back to their ABC's and 123's :-)  I'm also working on my ABC's and 123's too...but in a stamping sort of way!
The latest Friday Mashup challenge made me put on my thinking cap!  The challenge is to use elements in your project starting with the letters A, B, C and and 1-2-3 recipe (1 embellishment, 2 Stamp Sets, 3 Colors).
So, here are my ABC's & 123's...

A ~ Alphabet
B ~ Birthday
C ~ Circles
1 ~ Embossing Folder (Perfect Polka Dots)
2  ~ Stamp Sets ABC-123 Sketched Alphabet & Zoo Babies (Ok, I cheated and used 3, but I really needed to add the "st" from Memorable Moments after the 1)
3 Colors ~ Strawberry Slush, Pink Pirouette, Smoky Slate

I'm sure y'all are getting tired of seeing polka dots in so many of my creations, but I just can't stop using the Build a Banner polka dot stencil...I love it!

This cute little card is being sent to a sweet little "peanut" of a girl who will be celebrating her 1st birthday next week.  I bet she's well on her way to learning her ABC's & 123's!

Happy Stamping!
