Flutterby Mad!

I’ve found a couple of  blogs that’re right up my alley – given my obsession with butterflies at the moment.  SUO Challenges and Flutterby Wednesdays both have challenges with Butterflies.  In fact Flutterby Wednesdays always requires you to include a butterfly, fairy or angel.  I can see this being one of my faves!!

So on Flutterby Wednesdays it’s “Anything but a Card”, so I’ve made this cute little box picture for my little girl’s wall.  And this fits nicely with SUO who are celebrating  Butterflies!  Yay!

Of course it had to feature pink, so I’ve used Melon Mambo to die cut her name and embellished it  with butterflies made with the Beautiful Wings embosslit from Stampin’ Up!  in the same Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise and Daffodil Delight!

I’ve added a pearl to each of the big butterflies for a bit of bling.  This fits into a cute little box frame (approximately 6” square).

Well, I hope she likes it .

Valentine Chocolates!

Finally!  An excuse to make chocolates!  Not just any chocolates….kid-free Valentine’s chocolates!  Yay!
Don’t get me wrong….I love making sweets with the kids….but they always want to do it and never let me have a go! LOL!
So I’ve had a play for a couple of hours tonight and it’s soo much fun!



I’ve made them in to cute little Valentine’s pressies….



….now what to do with them!!  Hmmmm!

Well....I can use them to enter the blog challenges over at Simon says.... because they are indeed "any thing but a card" and The Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge as they are very "Valentine" .


Well, crafty distraction over.  Back to cards for the next post.  I'm going to try the challenge over on The Card Patterns Blog if I get chance tomorrow .
