Lots of new items

It seems like such a long time since we have updated this blog, a lot has happened in the last few weeks. We are in planning mode for an amazing line up of guest teachers for the coming year and of course we have our retreat with Dina Wakley and Dyan Reaveley in 3 weeks.  Michelle went to CHA, the annual trade show in California and did a lot of purchasing for the next few months.  We will be getting new items in a few times a week and we will do our best to update the website as soon as we get deliveries.

This week we had deliveries from Authentique with two new paper lines.

New Calligraphy markers from Zig and Michelle has a cool new trick to using these to make tri colored letters and doodles easily. . . . and we got a new Wink of Stella Pen with the clear glitter that gets into all those small places.

OK, so it's a little hard to see the depth and detail added to the project with wax in this photo, but believe you me, it's there!  The wax just makes the whole project look very ethereal... a very cool effect indeed!  You've definitely got to try it out... and we've got everything here that you need to get started!

Classes This Weekend

Saturday August 3rd Michelle is keeping us up to date with two great class offerings...

First, she will teach her How Do I... series from 10:30-11:30am.  The How Do I series of classes is all about learning the ins and outs of a particular product or technique - this month Michelle will be showing you how to get the most out of your inks. 

Then from 1pm to 4pm, Michelle is offering catch up classes for the ever popular A2Z of Me art journaling workshop.  This week she will be reteaching classes you may have missed, so make sure you catch them this time around!  At 1pm she will teach the letter "I", at 2pm the letter "N", and at 3pm the letter "E".  Each make up session is $15 and, of course, you need to register for each one so don't forget to call the store to sign up. 

For those of you who have been waiting with baited breath to see what the new releases were at this month's CHA, we are offering a trade show Show and Tell on Sunday from 1pm to 3pm - come on in and see what new things are headed our way!
