Anything Magnolia @ Diva's

Good morning guys, I hope you are all well and have been enjoying the glorious sunshine we've had lately. It was still sunny here yesterday but an awful lot cooler than  last weekend when it was absolutely beautiful!
I'm here today with a new challenge at

DIVA'S BY DESIGN

and this week is right up my street!!

Anything Magnolia

Those of you that know me, know I love Tilda and the gang so I'm really happy about this challenge so much so that you would have thought I'd spent ages on my favourite girl lol, well wrong!!! I haven't had a chance to make anything this week but just like a Blue Peter presenter - here's one I made earlier!! Before Christmas actually, and I used it for Christmas, I did put the recipients name on it, die cut letters just along the ribbon. She loved it!
I already had the bag, I think it came from Sainsbury's lol.
It actually shimmered and sparkled lovely with all the mirri card and glitter. I think most if not all the papers are from Prima but I might be wrong. It was that long ago I made it I can't remember!!

We have a fabulous sponsor this week

Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details and some stunning inspiration from the team. I'm pleased to report they did get around to making some fabulous stuff for you.
I did mean to take some pictures of the building site that used to be my front room but I forgot till I just wrote this, I will take some to post next time just encase you're interested.

That's it from me today, I"m going to lunch with a friend so that should be nice!!

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges..

Swirly, Pearly & Girly @ MAWTT

Good Morning folks, short and sweet as I'm nipping off to my
Mums for a couple of days to get her jobs done!
It's time for a new challenge at

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES

and this week my lovely pal Debs is Hostess and has chosen

Swirly, Pearly & Girly

What a fab title for a challenge theme!
I've continued my threat to play with my Magnolia stamps and had a little play with a relatively new one (well new to me compared to how long some have been sat unused in my stash)
and I tried the lighter stamping technique, um not sure how I feel about it!!

This is Clown Tilda and I've coloured her up with Copics to match the Bo Bunny papers and lots of flowers that actually match better in real life than they do in this photo!

Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details and some gorgeous girly inspiration from my teammies this week.
Short and sweet like I said!!

Shape Up @ MAWTT

Good Morning everyone. I'm back today with a news of a new challenge at
and this week I'm hosting and chose the theme

Shape Up!

Now I am on a major fitness and health campaign but I assure you this challenge doesn't involve anything strenuous or the restriction of chocolate you might need to consume to join in!
Just cards and projects that are not square please!

Here's what I came up with...

I made this card for a commission and later personalised it but I took this picture before I put the recipients name on it. I used another one of my unused Tilda's, I'm working my way through them! Lots of WOC flowers and a couple of rolled ones too. Papers are MME, Miss Caroline I think. The letters are glitter stickers, I have 100's of different stickers and rub ons and die cut alphabets I need to use up!! I was a bit heavy handed with the frantage, Tilda looks like she is hiking through the snow!!

Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details and some fabulous shapely creations from my talented teammies. They have really pushed the boat out this week for your inspiration.

This fabulous prize is on offer to the winner this week
Thank you for dropping by and for any comments you may leave, hopefully I've settled back in and caught up with all the  holiday washing and ironing and I'll be along to visit you ASAP!

Love 'n' Hugs Laurie xx

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges

Autumn Colours @ Diva's

Good Morning guys, I'm here today to share with you a brand new challenge at

DIVA'S BY DESIGN

and this week the lovely Rebekah has chosen

Autumn Colours

I said I was going to find time to play with my Magnolia stamps this year and so far so good! This cute little Tilda is actually one of this years releases and as I'm running about 3 years behind in using my unused Magnolia stamps I guess she queue jumped a little!

I don't suppose I'll ever use all the stamps I bought and unfortunately that doesn't stop me from buying the new releases!
The papers are 'Walking In The Forest' from Maja Designs and the flowers are mostly from WOC.

Please head over to the main challenge blog for lots of beautiful inspiration from my teammies and all the details of the fab prize on offer from this weeks sponsor

That's all from me today, thank you for calling by and any lovely comments you might leave, I appreciate every single one.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges

MAWTT is BACK!

Hello again everyone, getting sick of seeing me this week? Nothing for months then 3 posts on consecutive days!! Hope I can keep this up.

Exciting times today and an old favourite is back with us

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES

is back in blogland and we are restarting the challenges with

Anything Goes

Everyone loves being on this DT and I for one, am a happy bunny to see it back up and running (well done Hazel you do such a great job!)
My card is one that didn't get finished for a DT job in the summer so that's why it's a bit out of season LOL (or you could say its perfect for me being at the beach this week!)
I just love these images and I really wanted to play with them.

Bathing Tilda and Coastal cottages from Magnolias Summer Breeze collection all available from the lovely Janice at Sir Stampalot and the papers are Maya Designs Life by the Sea from a couple of years ago now I think. I sent Joel down the beach to get me some sand to fill the tiny bottle and I stuck a few grains on the image too.

We have this fabulous prize up for grabs to the winner from our sponsor

Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details and some fabulous inspiration from my lovely team mates. We have some lovely new teammies joining us, please stop by and show them some love.

Thanks for stopping by

Love 'n' Hugs Laurie xx

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges.

Charming @ Diva's

OMG! I have been so missing this last two weeks, I'm sorry to all my friends that I haven't been around but so much is happening I'm barely keeping up with myself! And work is a bit mental with all the glorious weather too. I will explain my absence at a later date when things have settled down.

Just by the skin of my teeth I made the new challenge this week at

DIVA'S BY DESIGN

and the theme of

Charming

Here's my offering, honestly these cards are taking longer and longer to make!
At least two weeks for this one LOL
I took this picture really early in the morning and the colours haven't come up very good.

Another of my lovely UNUSED Tilda's this time a special edition from Sir Stampalot, Poppy Tilda. Papers are Maja and flowers from everywhere! My new die cut pinwheel and a charm tied up with some twine and a net bow.

Pretty Pearls @ Diva's

Good Morning Guys, well according to the forecast summer should be here! I say should be as I've scheduled this post encase I'm working hard and didn't get the time LOL

It's time for Team B at

DIVAS BY DESIGN

to share their makes with you for this weeks brand new challenge

Pretty Pearls

I'm lovin' playing with my favourite stamps at the moment, even though I don't have too much time and card production has been severely reduced by work and the summer season, a whole lotta love is going into my one card a week!
I made this for my son Joel to give his Goddaughter for her first birthday next week.

The cutest of cute Magnolia stamps from last years collection I think (it could be the year before!) available from Sir Stampalot and pretty papers from Maya Designs Vintage Spring 6x6 pad, a lush pearl swirl from Hobby House and Lisa will be thrilled I used my Cricut again!!!

We have a fabulous sponsor this week

Please support our sponsors they are so generous in their prizes for you to win.
Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details and some beautiful work by the Diva's, they have excelled this week for you.

That's all from me today, my 3 kids have all gone to Glastonbury Music Festival so work is going to be a bit harder without my main man Joel!! I will be getting my eldest son home after though has he has finished his PhD now and coming home for a couple of months before starting work. I can hardly believe I have a son who is a Dr. When we go to his (3rd) graduation ceremony I'll probably explode  with pride!!

I'll be back on the 1st with a new challenge at HOAC (I can't believe its going to be July

Me a Guest Designer for a Magnolia DT!!!

Wow can you believe that post title !! I've read it a hundred times and I still can't believe it! But yes it's true - I'm a Guest Designer for a Magnolia Design Team!

Look I even have the badge to prove it!!

This little beauty will be taking pride of place at the top of my sidebar after today, probably staying there FOREVER!!
My Tilda Christmas card that I made just for fun a few weeks ago was chosen in the top 3 at
and it also came with a Guest Designer spot which I will be eternally grateful for lol
The theme for this challenge is

Magnolia Christmas
Without Tilda or Edwin

and this little Santa was my favourite in its release,
goodness knows how many years ago now!!

It's been easy making Christmas cards with this crazy weather, not a lot of motivation needed other than the snow out the window.
The papers are Carta Bella and the sentiment stamp, flower and mistletoe dies are all from Magnolia. I stuck a few beads on the mistletoe to make it more dimensional and I'm pleased with how it came out.  I cut Santa out and mounted him on glue gel so he sits quite 'high' on the card, at first I masked him on the bench but I didn't like that as much.

I hope you will pop over to the Time For Magnolia blog to see the beautiful cards created by the DT and I would like to thank them for letting me GD for this challenge.

That's it from me, I'm working today and all weekend but I have a post scheduled for Monday as its the 1st of a new month already!! Enjoy your Easter weekend and don't forget to put your clocks forward tonight.

Love 'n' Hugs Laurie xx

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges

Christmas Tilda - well it is cold today!

Good Morning guys, as promised yesterday I'm back today with a card I made for FUN! Remember that's what this craftin' thing is all about! No DT deadlines, set images, themes to follow etc etc..... lol And it doesn't get much more fun, for me, than my lovely Magnolia stamps (maybe Saturated Canary is up there too)! So out came the old stamps that I still hadn't played with from years ago and this little cutie forced her way to the top of the pile!

This card has all my favourites on it! maybe a few too many on one card lol I can't decide, as much as I love this style, I'm not convinced I can actually do it!
I adore the curly embellishments from Kort et Godt  my lovely Jill sent me when I couldn't get them (I have since bought 4 more packets from Ribbon Girl) the little berries from Magnolia I have in every colour (I just can't bring myself to part with them normally) The La La Land heart banner (couldn't get it anywhere it was out of stock, so I sent to America for it like you do!) The gorgeous paper is from LOTV,  I've been dying to use it and I think the natural jute from Ribbon Girl goes perfectly with it and all my WOC flowers.

So there you have it, a card made for fun, my first this year and hopefully not my last as it was FUN making it!
I've decided to give up trying to get on a Magnolia DT or even GDT and just enjoy my Maggies!!

Thank you for your lovely comments,
blog friends are the best!

Heck of a Challenge

Morning guys, can you believe it's the 1st of March already?  I can see that this year is just going to whizz by at this rate - blink and you might miss it!!

I'm back (AGAIN) today with a brand new challenge at

HECK OF A CHALLENGE

and today we have a lovely theme of

Butterflies and Pearls

As long as there at both on your card/creation somewhere - it fits!!
Here is what I came up with

I used my favourite Tilda from last years releases (I have so many now I'm getting confused - most unused!) and I also did a bit of masking with a Magnolia background stamp. The pretty papers are also last years, On The Bright Side from MME. My pearls are in the form of pearl sprays and my butterflies are a tiny punch and aslo there is a butterfly charm tied on.

Pop over to the main challenge blog for all the details of the challenge, news on the prize you can win and lots of pretty amazing inspiration from the DT.

I love that I got time to play with my Magnolia stamps this week, I promised myself I was going to try harder this year to use my favourite things and I was starting to feel really guilty about buying new ones when I have so many I haven't used - ironic that I made a card using one of the few stamps I had already used!!

Thanks for stopping by again today, I've been a little preoccupied and only dropping in and out of blogland lately - I hope to change that soon!

Love Is In The Air @ MAWTT

Happy Valentines Day to you all, please consider this post as my valentine's to everyone who didn't get one! That will be just me then!! Oh well I suppose there is still time LOL
I'm back today to spread a little L-O-V-E at

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES

and the lovely Claire has given us the perfect theme for today

Love Is In The Air

I had a lot of fun making this little card

How cute is Tilda's little bottom? Though it does look like she has a bit of nappy rash maybe I was a bit heavy handed with the blush!  The stamp is from the new 2013 Love collection (I don't think I've used any of the 2012 Love collection I bought last year yet!!)
The chipboard love is from a pack from WRM and as usual most of the flowers come from WOC

The papers I printed out myself (had to get a new printer which turned into a nightmare as it wasn't compatible with my computer so then the whole thing had to be upgraded! You wouldn't believe how many hundreds of £'s this card cost me in the end!!!) Anyway back to the papers....they are Vintage Peddler from our fabulous new sponsor at MAWTT

I can't tell you how much I love these papers, they sand away for a distressed look perfectly and now (I have an all singing and dancing laser printer) I will be printing papers left right and centre! Still have a small forest's worth in my craft room to get through first.

Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details of the challenge and lots of scrummy inspiration from my team mates.

Thank you for visiting today

Let It Snow @ Oldie But A Goodie

Hello lovely people, I'm all in a tiz this week flying around here there and everywhere and I don't know if I'm coming or going!! I'm so behind and I have no chance of catching anything up this side of Christmas. Apart from a couple of cards I've made weeks ago and scheduled, I will be absent for a while. I have to apologise to all my DT blogs for not being around. It's all about to get even busier at the crack of dawn tomorrow when I head off to EuroDisney with my Son, via lunch in Paris, from there I get the train to Frankfurt then on to Eisenach on Friday evening to meet my Husband and friends. We fly home late Sunday evening then Monday morning I head off to Leicester overnight to get my Mums shopping and chores done before I get whisked off (and this is the part you all feel sorry for me) to Barbados!! OMG! I'm so excited though goodness knows when I'll get to fit in my Christmas shopping/wrapping/card writing etc.....

Enough excitement for now, its time to get on with the new challenge at

OLDIE BUT A GOODIE

and this week lovely Tracy is hosting with a theme of

Let It Snow

This is what I came up with
Now I know what you are all thinking....this is a fairly new image and I'm supposed to be using things at least 6 months old for this challenge - well I have, the paper is from last Christmas, and my Magnolia Pointsettia die I've had at least 1 year if not more and this is the first time I've used it!! Shame on me as I'm really loving that flower. It's all been glittered and curled using Aileens glitter snow that I got at the NEC, I glittered the Tim Holtz Snowflakes edger die cut too and they look fab in real life. This goes to show that you can all enter our fab challenge as long as something on your card is at least 6 months old and you tell us what it is!

Be sure to check out the main challenge blog for all the details and this week we have a fabulous new sponsor

while you're there check out the fabulous inspiration from the Goodie Girls.

Before I go I just want to share what was delivered
to me last Friday on my 29th wedding anniversary
29 gorgeous red roses!! Each year I get the relevant number, it's certainly making up for the early years when he was being a cheapskate!!
That's all from me today - I'm off to pack!!

Thanks for looking

Anything Goes @ Diva's

Good Morning everyone, it's not my teams week to play but as I have been playing with my Magnolia stamps for no other reason than I wanted to I thought I'd join in today with the DT makes at

DIVA'S BY DESIGN

Anything Goes

Here is my card, I said I was going to make more cards I wanted to and not that I have to,
so I hope you like it! This is one of my favourite Tilda's EVER!
This is the yummy Tilda that caused all the fuss last year when she was only available very very limited. EVERYONE wanted her and she became priceless on Ebay, luckily Magnolia re issued her and that's when I got mine. Yes this is the first time she has seen the back of an inkpad!
The papers are Bo Bunny Snowfall from last Christmas too, the flowers are a mix of WOC and the Ribbon Girl.

I've just bought a pile of this Christmas's too!
This is Tilda with a Holly Garland from last years release and watch this space for one of the new stamps ASAP!! The papers are also from last Christmas from Magnolia and most of the flowers are from WOC, the gorgeous white curly spirals were sent to me by my lovely talented friend Jill.
I LOVE THEM!!!
I'd been trying to get them everywhere and couldn't, then just after Jill sent them to me The Ribbon Girl got them in stock! I have no intention of running out now -  EVER!!

Although I will be back with another card tomorrow for my usual Thursday MAWTT DT blog!

And my oh my did you lot just love the anything goes theme last week! I'm glad I don't have t pick a winner as we had sooooooo many gorgeous creations!
This week it IS my teams turn and we have a fantastically topical theme
LOVE IS IN THE AIR
I can't get that song out of my head now

I've used the gorgeous little Valentino from Magnolia - how cute is he? It normally takes me at least a year to ink up a new Maggie stamp so this is super quick for me! I painted a die cut chipboard heart with TH crackle glaze and was chuffed to bits it actually worked! The papers are a mix, some from BG Little Black Dress and the music paper was from my stash, the flowers are WOC.

We have a brilliant sponsor this week

Gingerbread Time

Good Morning and a very happy Sunday morning to you all. I'm afraid I've been AWOL again, this time I was wiped out with a migraine. It's the first I've had for about 10 years so at least they're not too frequent for me thank goodness.
I've not been able to craft for 5 days and I'm now so behind with my DT work! I was just getting ahead of myself nicely and I'd found the time to make another card just for fun, so at least I have something to post today.
You all know how much I love my Magnolia's! Since I've been blogging I've actually used some - they are not just for looking at now! This is Gingerbread Tilda, I think from a year or so ago. The die cut wreath is Memory Box again, the little wooden deer is from WOC along with the roses and the pearls, the gold baubles and leaf are from a Christmas decoration I dismantled and the sentiment is LOTV The lace is adhesive, I've had it for ages and never used it!

Right I'm off to catch up on all my blog visits and comments, so maybe I'll see you later!

Golden Oldie @ Oldie But A Goodie

A very good Morning to you all, I'm still tucked up in bed as this challenge starts the day before me LOL I don't do mornings in the winter months anymore - its usually too cold!

It's time for a brand new challenge at
and this week it's my turn to host because I swapped with my buddy Lisa who actually picked us the fantastic theme of

Red And Green Must Not Be Seen!

How cool is that? Love it Lisa!
We have a fab prize up for grabs to the winner and all the details can be found over at the main challenge blog, along with last weeks winners and some gorgeous inspiration from my lovely team mates.

Remenber you must use an image that is STAMPED not digi and it must be at least 6 MONTHS OLD.

I hope you will all find time to join in this week, I love getting my old favourite stamps out to play,
and this was no exception. I just love Magnolia and yet again this is one from last Christmas that never got inked up (I can hear Jill screaming from Norway!) All the die cuts have been done with gold mirri card and sparkle and shine and my new Memory Box wreath looks fab in real life! I can see now that I'm going to be needing some more of these!! The lush papers are also Magnolia and the sentiment LOTV

Thank you for looking and I will be back later with my second DT post of the day
Love 'n' Hugs Laurie xx
