Follow Your Dreams

My turn to post on the Stampavie DT blog, and I pulled out the new Tina Wenke image Mouse and Poppy Seeds.

Tina images just make me smile. And this one is a favorite :0)

I colored with my ProMarkers, and kept it really bright and colorful. My papers are from Graphic 45, sewed down. My leaves are from Papertrey Ink, love their matching dies and stamps. I punched EK Success Retro Flowers, rolled the petals, and stacked the two smaller sizes. The centers are Pearl Pen.

The sentiment is also from Tina Wenke, cut out with a Papertrey Ink mat stacking dies.

I hope that this Tina Wenke card gave you a smile :0)

Have a great day -

Sarah Kay - Suzi Ponders

A quick card today - another Thank you card I made for my Mom to use. Stampavie's Sarah Kay image Suzi Ponders -
This card was a pretty quick card, and I love that I used up more of my scraps on this one. Not that Webster's Pages is ever "scraps", I kept things pretty flat and simple so it is easy to mail. My sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and die cut with one of their dies. Three buttons on the corner, with three adhesive pearls - they don't even really look like buttons now do they?

Suzi Ponders is really a sweet image. As are all of Sarah kay images. I used Promarkers to color.
I also did the inside of the card, but forgot to get a photo... sorry.

Sorry I missed a few days this week. Today I go to the Doctors office. My finger is not healing well. It looked good and I thought it was all over, but the last couple of weeks it has started hurting again, and has this odd knot and is unbelievably sensitive. So off the Doctors... hope it isn't anything bad. Maybe I do really need to live in a bubble. That is what most around here are saying- LOL

Have a great day! HUGS and

Suzi Blu - Angel of Art in Metal Foil

My turn posting at the Stampvie DT Blog again today and I tried something new!

I just love trying new things. And this was way too much fun! I had seen these cool metal art projects on the internet  and then ran across this YouTube Video showing how to do it.. so you know I had to try it right?

Here is how mine turned out.

This really pretty easy to do and it was so fun! The main supplies? Hardware store Foil Duct Tape - and embellishments. Cutting the tape into pieces and placing them on a piece of chipboard. For wording and "pop-up" effects under the metal, I used Chipboard Thicker letters, and chipboard flourishes. Attach them in place on the chipboard. Then stick down in pieces of the tape, overlapping in different directions. Then you use what ever, bonefolder, metal working tools, the end of a pen... what ever to go around the chipboard pieces and give the appearance of metal embossing. Then I found copper metal foil tape and put down a few small pieces. Edges of the tape are then worked with whatever you have. Metal scroll tools, pens just decorate! Black paint is rubbed over the entire piece. Then rub down.. and most off to leave just enough to enhance the piece. Bronze colored rubbing powder for a shimmer.

Then to the pretty focus point... Suzi Blu's Angel of Art!  So perfect for my metal art!

She is colored her with my Copics, then added some Stickles and Bling to dress her up a bit. She is attached to the piece, then a few other embellishments. Corner pieces, clock faces, Hearts, Stars and Crowns... whatever felt right.

Close up of the metal -

Love working with new things.. Hope you enjoyed it :0)
Have a great Sunday

StampARTic Challenge - Bingo with a Sarah Kay

Hello - Hope you all had a blessed and wonderful Easter weekend. Hubby and I took a day of peace. Just us, and well... lots of animals. :0) It was a nice semi-quiet day with no stress or pressure. We both needed it desperately.

I wanted to get this post in tonight as I did a card for the StampARTic Challenge and found that it ends tonight  - so here is my card.. as I did enjoy the challenge.
Went back to one of my favorite Sarah Kay images for this one. Spring is Back. Totally love this image, the hair, the hat, the cute little ruffled top and all those flowers. I colored with my Copics, then die cut in a Nestie thin oval. The pattern paper is from a new paper pad I just got from Hobby Lobby... went in with a friend, didn't need a thing, and came out with paper... LOL But the colors and patterns in the Prima Madeline collection was more than I could handle. I caved and had to have it. I used scraps for matting around the paper,

The challenge at StampARTic is a bingo challenge.. I chose Flowers Stamp Ribbon... So the Stamp is done, my flowers are from the floral department... love these felt flowers on a wire stem! Don't know what made me circle around the oval, but I like it. I then added a bow and band of white seam binding ribbon.

Then I did the inside -
Same pattern paper collection, with more scraps of card stock. The sentiment is from the new Stampavie Tina Wenke Happy Birthday collection.

I loved putting this card together, I think it was the colors - these papers just make me happy.

Still some time today... I think I am going back to my craft desk ;0)

Thanks for stopping in -

More kids and a card!

Wow what a week.. my emotions are on a roller coaster ride this week! Up and Down with the Stress. But all is good. Yesterday we had Libbie fixed - the best for her I know that, but still was hard, she is such a good Momma and has beautiful babies. But best for her. So it is all good now. We have had more goats babies too! Surprise huh? LOL Paintbrush gave us quite a scare and she and her babies have been on my watch list the last  couple of days to make sure they are all healthy. So far everyone is doing ok.

They are a good looking family here aren't they?
Again... HUGE size difference in two of the babies. REALLY strange. Bluto is HUGE and Olive Oyl is tiny.

But how about a card? Yes I have actually crafted a bit - a tiny little bit.

I made another 5x7 card - still odd feeling, but getting a little more use to it. LOL
Sarah Kay for this card "Sofia Wishes" - isn't she pretty?
I went with a little different color combo this time. Drew from the pattern paper from Websters Pages. The purple and black with cream really does work well together huh? And I love double sided pattern papers, so easy to just flip and use both sides! No thinking. I sewed strips on the top and bottom, then backed the oval image - Some pretty cream and purple mulberry flowers, with Martha Stewart punched leaves and branches. Three small pearls for the corner. The band is two punches of a Papertrey Ink die.  My sentiment "Hello Friend" is also from Papertrey Ink.

Close Up of Sofia -
Colored with my Promarkers - and cut with an oval Nestie.

Did a quick surf for some challenges this week - First I have to shout out WOO HOO! I won last weeks 7Kids College Fund Challenge! Really great pick me up! Thank You Girls!

This week I found two challenges that my card fit well.. and I took notes of other challenge I hope I get time to play this week :0)

This card I would like to join in at

LOL great challenges this week... easy to fit in huh?
Ok, out to check on babies goats. :0)

Stampavie Sarah Kay - "Spool" Photo Holder

The other day was my turn on the Stampavie Blog again - I had so many things already scheduled, and all those babies to show off :0) So here is my project! It was so much fun....

I am so excited to show you what I made this week. Isn't funny how exciting it is when something is in your head and it works in reality! It doesn't happen often for me, so when it does work.. I get the giggles!
This is my Sarah Kay "Spool" Photo Holder. And I just love how Laura and Henri fit so perfectly on it.
I adore antiques, and love the vintage wooden spools. But I didn't have one to make my photo holder, so I made one ! Can you guess what I used? I am sure you can... This is a Toilet paper roll and two coasters! Covered in pretty Graphic 45 papers, inked and glued together. Tim Holtz lace borders, and lots of mulberry roses. My photo holder? That is a piece of copper wire rolled and then glued into the center of the roll. Was so simple!

Here is a close up of Laura and Henri - they are so precious.
I hope you enjoyed my project, oh... and the photo that is in my holder? That is my grandfather as a very young boy with his siblings. Such a great family photo.

Hope you have a great Sunday -

Stampavie - Penny Johnson - Duckling Bridge

My last CHA project. Yep I am all out of made up things to show you. So I must start crafting again! I did color one night this week. It was wonderful! Felt glorious!  Ok so I threw it in the trash can once done cuz it was not good at all... but I do believe I am now ready to get back to work. My hand is ugly don't get me wrong. And it itches like crazy. But I can use it and bend all my fingers. Whoo Hoo!! Now if I can get caught up with work this week, then I will have some free time to craft!

But here is one last card I made up for CHA for Stampavie. This is one of the new Penny Johnson images "Duckling Bridge" - really a sweet image.

I so enjoyed coloring this image - like a coloring book page - so many things to have fun with. I used my Promarkers from Letraset- All the papers I believe are SEI - from way way way long ago. I used a piece of vintage lace - and then that ribbon.. I stamped that! Yes the sentiment Thanks is from Stampavie Tina Wenke. And I just stamped it over and over across a piece of ribbon. Love that will be doing more of it for sure!

So that is all my CHA stuff... darn good thing I had so much from the show to share the past few weeks huh? What would I have done not being able to craft.

Have you been visiting the Stampavie Blog? The DT has really been showing some wonderful projects with all the new stuff - take a few minutes and visit and see :0)

Early day today... Libbie and Tuco have vet appointments. Tuco for his second round of puppy shots and Libbie for her annual visit and shots. I can only handle two at a time. So next Tuesday I'll take Autie and Chica. After done with the doggies today I then have to get to work. Long day today but I hope to get LOTS done! Feels good to be going 100% again. Now if only there were 36 hours in a day I just might get all caught up. LOL

Have a great day-

Tina Wenke's - Mouse Pushing Birthday Cart

I don't think I have shown this one before... LOL I was going through all my CHA cards and found a couple that I hadn't shown - at least I don't think...

This is the new Tina Wenke - Mouse pushing Birthday Cart.  - too cute!

I had fun with a scrap of cupcake paper in my stash. Then a Sizzix Cupcake die... punched twice once with blue card stock once with cream colored, that I added pearl pen for frosting and red stickles for a cherry top. Then LOTS of Martha Stewart border punching :0)

The image is colored with my Promarkers. Sorry.. did this ages ago and can't find the color list I made. The sentiment is also from one of the new Tina Wenke releases stamps!

Hope you haven't seen this one before.. LOL if so oh well the image is so cute it deserves two showings! HA!

My Mom did really well with her surgery - thanks for all the prayers - now re-coop time...

Hope you have a great day planned. Soggy here... rain rain rain..... :0(  I got my new lens, I so want to go outside and get some photos!!!!

Tweet Family Easter Basket

HI - Today's post is one that is also seen on the Stampavie Blog as well as the Letraset Blog! So you know I had to make sure that it was here as well. Thankfully this project I worked on for a few nights in a row and finished up the night before I hurt my hand. Would have crushed me to not get it finished and able to share on my days on the other two blogs.

So here it is -

Easter is coming! And for my project today I wanted to show you a cute little Easter Basket I made, decorated with the new Stampavie Penny Johnson image "Tweet Family".  I love this image, perfect for a little basket, and I love how rich the colors are when colored with my Letraset Pro Markers!
Colors Used: Blush, Buttercup, Ivory, Lemon, Apricot, Dusky Rose, Tan, Caramel, Burnt Sienna, Marsh Green,  Pear Green and Powder Blue.  I tend to layer my colors. I let it dry and then color again,  I just love how deep and rich these markers are and how beautifully they blend for shading.

Tutorials for this basket can be found all over the Internet, I found mine HERE.   It is a lot of fun to fold together! But even more fun is adding all the pretty flowers, ribbons and pearls!

Supplies Used: My Minds Eye Papers, Heartfelt Creations Window Die, Spellbinders Oval Die, Circle Die and Lacey Circle Die. EK Success Jumbo Heart Punch, Martha Stewart Branch Punch, Adhesive Pearls, Vintage Satin Seam binding,  And lots of Wild Orchid Mulberry Roses.

I loved making this basket, and will be doing another one soon I am sure -

Hope this did pop on this morning as I have it scheduled.... Today I am at the hospital with my family. My Mom is having back surgery - prayers are appreciated, we are all a bit nervous. I am sure she is going to come out of it just fine. And hopefully the pain she has had to live with the past year will be gone.

Thanks so much  - HUGS and

Showing off a Suzi Blu Stamp on a Scrapbook Page

Hi - Who would have thought a Suzi Blu stamp on a Donkey Scrapbook page? Well I figured the photo of little Sonia was just too precious and these great new Stampavie Suzi Blu stamps just were perfect for a scrapbook page. These stamps are larger so they are great for those Bigger projects!
I backed my page with kraft paper, a cream colored card stock border punched all around, then I stamped and masked and just went a bit nuts with a sea mist spray. Some scrap fun papers, a hand cut banner, ribbon, buttons and LOTS of doodling.

Then those Suzi Blu stamps! I used Pretty Girl with a paper pieced outfit and bling - colored with my Promarkers. Then I used one of the new Suzi Blu sentiments "Fall in Love" cuz that is just what you do when you meet up with baby donkey Sonia! :0)

I have really had fun doing a few more scrapbook pages with my stamps lately - Especially ones with "my children" in them! :0)

Hope you have a wonderful Monday  - And don't forget you have one more day to get in on my Blog Candy HERE for those three brand new Stampavie Stamps!

Where have I been? How about some Candy?

Where have I been? Man, I can't believe Saturday was the last day I posted! I have no excuse really - I took Sunday completely off. Didn't even turn on my computer. Spent the day with Hubby helping him bring in loads of hay. I say helping very loosely :0) I still only have one hand to work with. My rope burned hand is getting much better but I still can't use it as much as I would like. So I spent the day riding around with Hubby and holding gates for him. Monday and Tuesday - I have no clue where those days went. LOL

So to make it up to you I thought I might offer up some candy. Bribe yes... but a really great one!

After the close of CHA- the very generous Heidi  from Stampavie gave me a few of the brand new Stampavie images to bring home and share with you for some blog candy.

What do we have here?

Good thing I have a few Made up Projects -

HI - the Rodeo on Monday was really fun. Totally loved watching the sheep dog trials! And we enjoyed a really nice day together, Hubby and I.  Well until late in the day.... well accident prone Michelle entered ! But honestly this wasn't my fault - Really it wasn't! Working with the horses - I was holding a rope for Hubby and in a totally flash - my hand was pinned to the fence post and the rope was spiraling out of my hand and well... OUCH! I have rope burns on all four fingers on the inside of my right hand. Bad Rope Burns. I am actually doing pretty good considering I am not a Lefty and can't figure out how to do anything without my right hand. How do you lefty's do it? :0)

So no coloring for a little while, in fact I tried to use my scissors today and couldn't even open and close them once... so I moved them to my left hand and well cut right into the middle of what I cutting, so I think scissors will have to wait a little while as well. Sigh... Good thing I have a few made up Projects left from CHA!

Here is one of the new Stampavie Sarah Kay images  - "Bath Time"
I went vintage with this one. Colored the image with my Promarkers, then tore her out and inked the edges. I used scrap pattern papers one that looks like cardboard, and one with script pattern. Sorry lost the names. I backed it with brown card stock that I punched with a Martha Stewart border punch. Now do you recognize that chandelier? YEP another Stampavie image. From Penny Johnson - Now this was totally cool - I took a piece of the brown card stock, and I stamped with bleach! Yes plain ole bleach! Now I made sure to wash my stamp well after using the stamp. But the effects were totally cool - will be doing this again for sure. I stamped the brand new Tina Wenke Dream stamp with bleach as well on a scrap of blue paper.

Some sewing, pearls and dotted swiss ribbon and I like how this card came out! And I love that it was already done to show you!

No worries... I'll be ok, and my private nurse "Hubby" has been taking pretty good care of me... following me around asking if I have soaked my hand and checking my boo boo's every time he can. I feel so bad that I can't clean the house and do my chores around the house... really I do. LOL

Have a great day -

Giddy UP! by Tina Wenke

I love this time of the year.. today is one of Hubby and I's favorite things to do. The Rodeo is going on here and today is what we fondly call.. "Donkey Days"! Every year we take a day as our special day and go sit in the stands and watch the Donkey competitions - Showmanship, Confirmation (how the donkey is built compared to a perfect donkey), obstacle courses and much more. But we are even more excited this year, as never is Donkey Days the same days as the Sheep Dog competitions.. but this year they will be going on today as well! I have always wanted to watch this at the rodeo. And it is never when we can attend. We are so looking forward to it all this year.

That is enough about us and the Rodeo... I do have a card to show off today too :0)
This is one of the new Stampavie Tina Wenke images called - Giddy Up!  I thought it was appropriate for the Rodeo :0)

This card was a lot of fun - Normally I get a little stressed doing "boy" cards, but I so totally love this adorable guy and his doggie it just flew together. I used a piece of Core'dinations impressed paper that I sanded heavily - then I found a scrap of this awesome cowboy paper... sorry have no name for it. I blanket stitched around it and the image, pop dotted to the card and ran twine around the entire thing.

The image is colored with my Promarkers, and the sentiment is from the New Tina Wenke sentiment set called... well called "Happy Birthday" LOL I also added a Tim Holtz metal embellishment that reads wonderful.

I like this boy card, and it is hard for me to be happy with those un-flowered, non pink male cards. Ha!

Ok... OFF TO THE RODEO!
Hugs have a wonderful day!

New Releases - Tina Wenke - A Bird House -

Hello - Today I wanted to show you a bird house I made for CHA. You know I love bird houses. Well I found  a bird house with lots of sides to hold lots of different images! So I colored up a bunch of the new Tina Wenke Stampavie images and had some fun.
So I started with a blank wood bird house - painted it brown and white. Then I took my colored images and cut them out and glued them down. The roof... I punched out a million Fiskars Medium heart punches and inked the edges. I then glued them down (upside down) added a border punch around the bottom, I then modge podged the entire piece. Then I added the metal frame around the opening, quickutz leaf border, flowers and buttons.

I hope you liked my bird house. It ended up in a good home, I gave it after the show to my new friend Suzan as a Thank You for take me to Disney and a shopping trip :0) Gotta totally love a person that takes you to the happiest place on earth and Shopping! Thank you so much Suzan she is a total sweetie, and oh she has a great Husband and Doggy "Woody" that also deserves a big thank you for a grand time!

Have a great day!

New Sarah Kay - Another Scrapbook page - Tea Please

Hello- today I wanted to show you another scrapbook page I made for CHA - this page is showing off a New Stampavie Sarah Kay image, "Tea Please" As soon as I saw this image my brain was going nuts thinking of my little niece a few years back in her absolutely adorable dance costume! They were meant to use together.. seriously... LOOK
This page was so much fun to put together! It felt like it just went together all on its own. The image is totally wonderful I love it, but with my nieces photo I really love it!

I used Black cardstock, Pink cardstock, A piece of Tim Holtz Core'dinations embossed card stock that I sanded. The lace is a piece of vintage lace that I adore - It is pretty large for using on cards, but perfect for scrapbook pages, don't you think? Then a large black rhinestone flourish. The title is one of my very old Thickers - black glittered of course.

Here is a close up of the Sarah Kay image, you know you are going to have to have this Sarah Kay aren't you?

She is colored with my Promarkers. Cut out and then inked around the edges.

Hope you like my scrapbook page, it was really a ton of fun to put together.
Have a great Monday -

Another Sneak Peek from CHA - Tina Wenke - Fairy Hugs

hi - ok, now I can't compare to all those gorgeous pages I showed yesterday, but I did a scrapbook page before I left for CHA. I did a few actually - Here is one.... and I used the new Stampavie - Tina Wenke image A Fairy Hugs!
I colored the image with Promarkers, LOTS of sticklers and then cut it out. It was perfect for my nieces dance recital photo... and a scrapbook page.
I kept it simple. But the background paper was a little bold, so I used a Lattice mask and white washed it. Then added some flourishes, and flowers. The words are Thickers - I have TONS of these from my days way back when I did scrapbook a lot. It was nice to actually use them again, they have felt so forgotten.

The photo is an older one - my niece is now a "teenager" ... hope she is ok with me sharing her photo. Little late though cuz it hung at CHA already... LOL

It was fun to actually scrap again. And the new inspiration is really starting to kick my MOJO up and I hope to get a chance to do some crafting this weekend.

OH Internet is up and working again... whew! Funny how we can't live with out the net isn't it. At least I had my phone so I wasn't totally cut off, but feels good to be back to normal again.

Have a wonderful Wednesday. HUGS and

New Sarah Kay - CHA release - I Little Bit of Country

Hi - ok so I have intermittent Internet. I am keeping my appointment with the repair people, if I let it go it could take a while to get another appointment. So for now I work for a while and then nothing. I thought I would take advantage of the working this morning to show you one of the cards I made for the Stampavie booth... I think this could be my favorite image from the Sarah Kay release. But seriously.... there are 20... YES TWENTY really fabulous images in the Sarah Kay release! And I know I say it each time, but I think this is my absolute favorite release. You can see all the new releases HERE. Warning... in my best "Jaws" imitation voice... You are gonna need a bigger wallet... LOL

So back to my card - "A Little Bit of Country" -

See I told you... I love this image don't you. So me.... LOL  For my card I used scraps papers, all sewed together. Then I found some Paper tape ribbon that I added a piece of vintage lace. Found a wooden embellishment that had that country feel. Especially after I inked it up.

The sentiment is from another new release from CHA - Tina Wenke's new sentiments!! 5 new sentiment sets that are just perfect for lots of occasions. OH and I colored the image with my Promarkers. Happy Happy Happy! Loving this one.

All right gotta get things going and start to find my routine again. Laundry going, and I need to unpack the rest of my "goodies" from CHA and put away the luggage for another year. And I missed a ton on the internet, so if things will stay working I want to do some hopping around and see everything I missed. Have a great Monday and I'll be back tomorrow with more of CHA!

Sneak Peek - Suzi Blu - Spirit Girl

Well CHA is under way! And today it is my turn to share on the Stampavie DT Blog. And I had to share here as well right?

Really stepped out of my normal box here and just went with it and "tried" to do something a bit different. And I had a TOTAL BLAST doing it!

Started off with a canvas, tore pieces of cardstock to create my background. I colored the Spirit Girl with promakers, and then cut her out. The sentiment is also one of Suzi's new stamps called "Fall in Love".  Love these new quotes in her collection. I then cut out some roses and a bird from pattern paper, chipboard words and trimmed the edge with measuring tape twill ribbon.

So how have you stepped outside your crafting box lately? These new Suzi Blu images really help inspire and make it all so easy to have fun!

Hope you enjoyed it ;0) Off to CHA now!
