Outlaws Progressive 2/2017

Tämä kortti valmistui jo hyvissä ajoin ennen ystävänpäivää ja tarkoitus oli se ajastaa silloin blogiinkin ilmestymään, mutta kun elämä tällä hetkellä on niin kovin kiireistä ja hektistä, eikä blogitekstien tuottamiselle tunnu vain yksinkertaisesti löytyvän aikaa, joten julkaisu hieman venähti.

I made this card way before Valentine's Day and the plan was to schedule it to be published on that day on my blog, but my life is so very busy and hectic at the moment and I don't seem to have time for writing blog post so I did not quite make that plan.

Outlaws Progressive 12/2016

Outlaws-sivuston joulukuun progressiivisen haasteen digileiman on lahjoittanut Sandi's Samples. Kuva on nimeltään Snowman ja väritin sen Pro- ja FlexMarkereilla sekä Spectrum Noireilla. Kuviopaperisuikaleet löytyivät silppulaatikosta ja niiden, kuten myös kuvankin, reunat pyöristin Fiskarsin kahvaleikkurilla. Teksti on MS Wordilla tehty ja tulostettu, ympyräksi leikattu Spellbindersin stanssilla, kuten myös alla oleva lainereunainen kehyskin (eri stanssisetit kyseessä), jonka sävytin korttiin sopivaksi turquoise -sävyisellä ProMarkerilla. Keskustaan mintunvihreä card candy ja koko härpäke irti taustasta kotikutoisilla 3d-palasilla. Lumihiutaleboordi Marianne Designen stanssilla leikattu ja muutama puolihelmi kortin koristukseksi.

Digi stamp for Outlaws progressive challenge in December is provided by Sandi's Samples. Image is called Snowman and I colored it with ProMarkers, FlexMarkers and Spectrum Noirs. Designer paper strips are from stashed scarps and their corners, as well as on image, are cut into round shape with a Fiskars punch. Finnish sentiment "Christmas Joy" is made with MS Word, printed and cut into circle with a Spellbinders die and it has a mint green card candy center. Wavy border under the sentiment is colored with turquoise ProMarker, cut with another Spellbinders die and lifted up from background with self-made 3d-pieces. Snowflake border is cut with a Marianne Design die and flat-back pearls are used for finishing touch.

DT - Crafting From The Heart #138

It is challenge time at Crafting From The Heart and our theme is of course Anything Goes. We got to choose images from our this week's sponsor Polka Doodles, and decided to go with a cute Christmas image called Christmas Trimmings. Image is colored with combination of ProMarkers, FlexMarkers, a MetallicMarker and Spectrum Noirs, and cut with a circle Spellbinders die (as well as the scalloped one under it). On the tiny lights I added some bling with purple Stickles.

Designer paper is a digital one from Dakota Winds Graphics and it is cut with a new purchase, a Nellie Snellen die. Shiny purple baubles are cut with a Joanna Sheen die out of a glitter cardstock. The die is actually a cutting balloons but once you turn them upside down, don't you think they start looking just like baubles? :) Some baker's twine and tiny rhinestones to finish the creation.

Meillä on uusi haaste Crafting From The Heart -sivustolla, ja tottakai teemalla Mitä vain. Saimme valita sponsorimme Polka Doodlesin tarjonnasta digileimakuvat, ja omaan korttiini päätyi suloinen jouluinen kuva nimeltään Christmas Trimmings. Kuva on väritetty sekoituksella promarkereita, metallicmarkereita, flexmarkereita ja spectrum noireja, ja leikattu Spellbindersin ympyrästanssilla (kuten myös piparireunainen versio sen alla). Pieniin joulukuusenvaloihin lisäsin hieman kimallusta Sticklesin purple kimalleliimalla.

Digikuviopaperi on Dakota Winds Graphicsin ja sen alalaidan leikkasin uudella hankinnalla, Nellie Snellenin stanssilla. Kimaltavat joulupallot on leikattu Joanna Sheenin ilmapallostanssilla kimallekartongista, ja kun ilmapallot kääntää toisinpäin, niin eivätkös ne näytäkin aivan joulupalloilta? :) Puotinarua ja pieniä akryylijalokiviä viimeistelyyn.

DT - Crafting From The Heart #130

We have a brand new Anything Goes themed challenge at Crafting From The Heart. The cute image, called Ta Da Frog, is from our this week's sponsor Scrapper's Delights, and I colored it with ProMarkers (listed below), a FlexMarker (Bright Green) and a Spectrum Noir (GB10) marker. Before printing I added the sentiments (Onnea = Congrats is Finnish) with MS Word around the image.

Designer paper is a digital one from Queen Wild Scraps and the smaller piece I grabbed from my stashed scraps. Some splashes of ink with lucky clover Distress Stain. Circle dies are from a Spellbinders set, card is gate-folded and for finishing touch I added different sized buttons with a little bit of baker's twine.

Kuviopaperi on Queen Wild Scrapsin digipaperi ja pienemmän nappasin silppulaatikosta. Musteroiskeet on tehty lucky clover -sävyisellä Distress Stainilla. Ympyrästanssit ovat Spellbindersin setistä, kortti on porttitaitoksella varusteltu ja koristuksina tällä kertaa erikokoisia nappeja sekä hieman puotinarua.

DT - Wags 'n Whiskers #173

Today starts a new Wags 'n Whiskers challenge - this time with the theme:

Spring Fun

I started creating my card by digging into a box where I storage my stashed scraps and found the circle paper (leftover of this card - made in 2013) and the flower paper (from this card - also made in 2013). Then I went through a pile of pre-printed digital designer papers and took the stripey one there. Because the colors matched almost too perfectly to each others in all three papers I had to check who they were manufactured by - just to figure out that they were all from Shabby Princess.

For coloring the image, called Some Bunny Loves You, I used a combination of ProMarkers and FlexMarkers (listed below), and I then cut it with a Crafts-Too die (a new purchase). Flower paper got cut in half and the edges were 'rounded' with a Fiskars punch. For embellishments I used die-cut baubles (die: Memory Box), a flower button (new stash) with baker's twine and for final touch I doodled fake-stitching with a white Sakura gelly roll pen.

Kevään ilot

Kortin tekemisen aloitin sukeltamalla silppulaatikon syövereihin, ja sieltä nappasin pallokuosisen paperin (tämän, vuoden 2013, kortin ylijäämäpalanen) ja kukkapaperin (tästä kortista, joka myös vuodelta 2013). Sen jälkeen otin käsiini tulostettujen digikuviopapereiden nipun, josta löytyi raidallinen yksilö. Kaikkien kolmen paperin värit sopivat toisiinsa jopa liian hyvin, joten päätin tarkistaa kenen valmistajan ne olivat - yllätys olikin melkoinen, kun kaikki olivat saman valmistajan, Shabby Princessin, tuotantoa.

Kuvan, nimeltään Some Bunny Loves You, värittämiseen käytin ProMarkereiden ja FlexMarkereiden (listattuna alla) sekoitusta ja leikkasin sen Crafts-Too 'n stanssilla (uusi ostos). Kukkapaperin leikkasin keskeltä kahtia ja päädyt pyöristin Fiskarsin leikkurilla. Koristeina käytin stanssattuja kuplia (stanssi: Memory Box), kukkanappia (uusi ostos) kera puotinarun ja viimeisen silauksen kortti sai reunoja kiertävästä valetikkikuosista, jonka piirsin valkoisella Sakuran gelly roll kynällä.

DT - Get Creative #32

The theme for our new Get Creative challenge is

Hearts

We got some digis from our sponsor Robyn's Fetish and from those I chose a cutie image called Tommy Valentine Toad to use on my card. Image is colored with ProMarkers and Flexmarkers. Edges, as well as on all the papers, are distressed with cottage ivy Memento ink. Green designer paper is from No Reimer Reason (digi paper) and stripey one from Correen Silke (also digi) - their edges were torn by hand before ink-distressing. Light-blue textured paper was found from my stashed scraps and I cut it with Nellie Snellen heart die. All embellishments are new purchases; forest-green flat-back AB pearls and a light-blue acrylic 'sunflower'.

Saimme sponsoriltamme Robyn's Fetish 'lta käyttöömme muutaman digileiman, ja niistä valitsin korttiini suloisen kuvan nimeltään Tommy Valentine Toad. Kuvan väritin ProMarker- ja FlexMarker-tusseilla. Reunat, kuten myös kaikkien papereidenkin, söhrin Mementon cottage ivy musteella. Vihreä kuviopaperi on No Reimer Reasonin (digi) ja raidallinen Correen Silken (myös digi) - niiden reunat revin käsin ennen musteella sävyttämistä. Vaaleansinisen tekstuuripintaisen paperin löysin silppulaatikosta ja leikkasin sen Nellie Snellenin sydänstanssilla. Kaikki koristeet ovat uusia ostoksia; metsänvihreitä AB-puolihelmiä ja isokokoinen vaaleansininen 'auringonkukka' (akryyli).

Even though Christmas is already over I am preparing for next year by making a Christmas card :) Cute image is from our sponsor Imagine That, called JOY Birds, and I colored it with ProMarkers and FlexMarkers. Designer paper is a digital one from Correen Silke. Ivy corner is cut with a Marianne Design die and attached with tiny 3d-pieces. Metallic-looking ribbon is a present ribbon with "Merry Christmas" (in Finnish) sentiments on it, and for embellishments I used patterned card candies.
