Happy New Year! My first card of 2017 is a DT card that I created for Get Creative. We now run our challenges whole month so there is plenty of time to participate. And for January the theme nice and easy ...... Anything Goes.
The cutie image, called New Baby Hanging Stuffies, is from our sponsor OddBall Art and I colored it with the combination of ProMarkers and Spectrum Noirs. I have been again doing a little bit of (die)shopping; the scalloped edged ovals are from a Crafts-Too set and star border die is from Marianne Design -- I slipped a light-blue ribbon 'inside' it. Star patterned digital designer paper is from Snip Snap Scrap and the stamped sentiment (in Finnish) is both welcoming the little one to the world and also congratulating the whole family.
I almost forgot to mention about the recycling aspect on my creation. Kraft cardstock is from a pantyliner box and cardstock used for the star border is from a cracker box. These are the moments I can call myself a proud hoarder :)

Hyvää Uutta Vuotta! Ensimmäinen korttini vuodelle 2017 on DT-työ Get Creative -haasteeseen. Meidän haasteemme ovat nykyään kestoltaan aina kuukauden, joten aikaa osallistumiseen on rutkasti. Ja tammikuun teemana meillä on simppeli ...... Mitä vain.
Suloinen kuva, nimeltään New Baby Hanging Stuffies, on sponsoriltamme OddBall Artilta ja väritin sen promarkereiden ja spectrum noirien yhdistelmällä. Olen jälleen hieman (stanssi)shoppaillut; piparireunaiset ovaalit ovat Crafts-Toon setistä ja tähtiboordi on Marianne Designen -- sujautin pätkän vaaleansinistä nauhaa sen 'sisään'. Tähtikuosinen digikuviopaperi on Snip Snap Scrapin tuotantoa ja leimattu teksti Stempelkellerin.
Melkein unohdin mainita kortin kierrätysteemaisuudesta. Kraft-värinen kartonki on peräisin pikkuhousunsuojapaketista ja tähtiboordiin käytetty kartonki hapankorppupakkauksesta. Tällaisina hetkinä voin ylpeänä todeata olevani hamstraaja :)
