Felt Necklace

more playing with the embellisher I think this wil be a necklace , I make al these little things , it must be useful I cant put them all on the wall I better put them on my neck every day a different one

Aqua

On a piece of black linnen wool organza and yarn also some beads

these are stil little pieces to get as many of tryouts as I can and new ideas

Red piece full size

The red piece here in full size it is not a big piece 8-11 inchs .

This is also a tryout for the coat I am planning to embellish

I want to try different shapes and I think it came out very well

there wil be more tryouts before I stard whit the coat

Bubbels

This little piece of red felt I made on the embellisher needed something more
I added bubbels that I made whit felt , now it is just oke ,
the picture does not show it so good
This is also a tryout and I am stil discovering new things to do on the embellisher .
I wil make more tryouts before I stard whit the coat .

my partner on the FAF swap for june is Carol and here theme is white , cream ,beige.

the fabrics to use silk, cotton, lace ,scrim , angel wire, I also did some hand embriodery and added beads .

I use some paint aswel I hope Carol wil like the page .

a wonderful day

Yesterday was a wonderful day and I got so much inspiration

two friends came over ,we met on a course and now we have lovely days together and yesterday was one of those days

a hade a little time today and this is the result of playing with the embellisher

it is a tryout for a coat I made last year. I want to do something with this coat .

this tryout wil help to get on the way .

Postcard and quilt

This postcard is for a FAF friend and I put an other picture of the transparent quilt
maybe it is better to see that it is transperant

Here is the quilt and it is finished,,,,,

It is made from organza ,I used the embellisher and burning candels and FME

The assignment was , transparent , and that is wat the quilt is .

ATC,,Postcard,,

For some swaps an ATC and a postcard ,the ATC is done with wool and Tyvek
and some beads added.
The postcard is needle felted on the embellisher and some FME .

Lamifix

sometime ago I made a postcard with lamifix and I send it to Suz she asked me what the shinny stof was and I think this is the best way to let you see ,the first picture is lamifix and some viole
I irond the viole on the lamifix between sheets of backing paper and than I needle punched wool organza on the viole and the lamifix .
you get a shinny soft you can use as you please .

wonderful wool

I love this wool the colors are so wonderful , I bought it from a lady that dyed it she hase a blog called
storm op zolder it is a lovely blog go and see this blog
I think this wil be a little bag
On the embellisher I felted the wool and than added embriodery

Tyvek

work is keeping me very busy I have not much time for textile work ,But I have made some little pieces with tyvek .
The first photo is painted tyvek ,I layerd it with organza , punched it together with the embellisher ,and heated it with the iron .
I punched some wool on top .

the second photo is Tyvek and dyed veil it is FME and theated with an irion ,some wool added


the third photo is tyvek and organza FME and heated with an irion

I never used tyvek like this before I like the result ,

THe embellisher

The Embellisher: I get many questions about the embellisher so maybe this gives you some idea what the machine can do .I have not explored al of the things it can do I learn every time I work whit it but it is very great to see al the lovely things you can do whit it

My machine is back again so I can work on my red piece ,and added some FME, At this moment I am not very happy with it so I must add more

A piece of needle felted wol with organza and FME ,It stil is not what I want it to be,more gold band added,And Imust take a cup of tea and think about it,not happy yet.

Red for Textile Tuesday

I wil let you see the proses of making this piece for the textiele Tuesday
The first thing was looking for the richt fabric ,this is a piece of silk left over from a fabric journal I have made .
On the embelisher I made a altering in the fabric .














It is not good to see but if you look very good oyu see some needle felted wol I made on the embellisher















I got some mull, wol,punched it togeter on the embellisher and added it to the silk ,
I wamted to add some FME ,,, but my machine brook and I have to get it to the man to get it fiksed so I an you have to wait until this weekend , so sorry ,
when I am in the mood I like to go on ,, but I have to wait , it is so hard .....
