Aud Sentiments - Anything but a card WITH A SENTIMENT!

I was really looking forward to this challenge...and then faffed around for ages not doing it!  I made spaghetti bolognaise, went on facebook, surfed the web, even resorted to hoovering!  And then I did it!  And I love it!

Everything was cut out with my ecraft (and was a breeze!).  It all just went together so easily!  All of the files are from Lettering Delights.  This is the first time I have completed a whole, layered project with my ecraft and the winning combination (ecraft, MTC, LD) and I am so chuffed!  Yes, there are things I would change, but I am really happy with it as it sits.

I am going to give this to my mum's neighbour.  She came out and cleared a route through the snow so that mum can get down the drive and into our cars.  It was such a lovely thing to do.  I feel so reassured that she has such a lovely neighbour living next door to her.

Anyway, thats me!  I have seen the other DT work and it is stunning!  Please take the time to pop over and check them out - oh...and in case you didnt get it - the challenge is anything but a card but you must include a sentiment!

Last minute choccie boxes

For the last 4 years, we have eaten out on Christmas Day - and we are doing the same tomorrow...tomorrow????  After, we have had our meal, we come back to our house for bagels and cold meats etc (tea).  I had some time today so thought I would rustle up some little boxes for chocs to go in.  I will give these as people are leaving.  There are only going to be 10 of us (one of which is a younger child and 3 of which are us!) - so I needed 6 boxes.

They were very quick and easy to make - just folding and a dab of glue.  They each hold about 3 chocs, so just right.  Josh very kindly dragged himself away from the Playstation to help me tie the bows!

Have a great Christmas Eve!

Little "bags"

I found the pattern for this little baggy thingy (Leslie calls it a tote) on this blog here!  I have to say it is really, really, really easy to put together!

They are soooooo easy that I made 3!

How cute are they????  Just love them!  The image is from Delicious Doodles - love the variety Teri produces!  They are probably large enough for baby socks or a bib - something little!

The little badgy thingy is a blog hop win from Susie at Diecut Dreams - think I might have to buy some more of these!  You know when you think "I could do that!" - but you dont!  Or you cant!  Hee hee - yep, think these are a fab time saver and really add to the look of the bag!

And have just linked this design up to Stamping Vacations who wanted an image that DIDNT begin with S - how cool is that?

I had a complete change of theme for this one!

Yep the old ecraft machine got another outing!  My wonderful "snowball" cut all of these bits out so quickly and easily - no mat, no bother!  ermmmm - I kinda like this machine...had you guessed??

All the pieces are from the Fundamentals SD card - lots on there to keep me going!

Bit of sakura pen on the leaves.
Hung a couple of leaves on each side!

...and Bob's your Uncle! - well actually mine are Terry and Johnnie, but hey!

These totes are about 6x5"  - give or take!

And I got a blog award from my new DT buddy at Delicious Doodles - Maria!  Yay - go and pop over to her blog if you get a chance - she has some great stuff over there!

Well, thanks for popping by today!

Little Boxes on the hillside.....

Ok - so they aren't on the hillside...they are on my kitchen counter!  When my son went away with the school, for a week, hubby and I went out on the town, caught a show, had a meal etc. On the way back from the show, we went through ChinaTown in London - and they had free Chinese newspapers to take....so I did!  Of course, then I needed to use them...and then the C.R.A.F.T peeps posted their challenge which was to use print!  YAY!

The boxes were ready made and part of a candy from yonks ago - thanks!  Its taken me a while to get round to using them - I still have 3 more to use!

So, I covered them in the newsprint, then inked them, then sealed them and did things on them!

One of them has glitter in the middle heart, one is plain glossy accents and the other is liquid pearls with flowers stuck in it!

I had a great, messy time doing these - will have to get on with the other 3 now!

thanks for looking

This is a cute little box which is the challenge on Double Dutch - it was to make the box and decorate it.  Now, I know my box won't be as fancy as some of the ones on there, but I kind of liked the image, loved the sentiment and really didnt see the need to add anything else to it!  Actually, I did, but realised that I couldn't add eyelets once I had put the box together!!!  Also discovered how difficult it is to colour an image once its on a box!  Sometimes I wonder how I get along in everyday life!
I would also like to link my lil box up with Pixie Dust's Green challenge - this is to celebrate their rather fabby new release of....peas!!!  You just have to go and peak!

Thanks for looking - can't wait for Audsentiments challenge to start in a coupla weeks!  We have some rather fabby sponsors lined up so keep an eye out for the fun!

Bunny Box

I do like this bunny!  He has some eggs left, think he is saving them for ME!  This is the latest release from Doodle Palace and I shrank it down quite tiny - so it was quite a feat to colour the eggs and the flourishes on the door!

As you can see, I put the pic on a plastic box - my hubby brings these home from work, they have business cards in them when they are full!  As you can imagine, they are small - the lid is only 6x9cm.
Hmmmmm - and filled with eggs and chicks....fabulous!

If you would like to pop over and buy this image...then go to Doodle Palace

Thanks for looking!

Sweetie Box

You know when it all just works???  I found some little choc bars in Tesco, and some small caramel hearts and wanted to use them for...something!  Then I had another coupla graze boxes lurking around...and wanted to use them for......something!

Well here it is!  Something!  We are going to visit my very bestest, buddy later this week and I just adore her kids.  They always share their sweeties with Josh when he arrives so I thought that we would take some yummies up to them.  Do you know, I am soooo excited I can hardly type!

And it was an absolute breeze to do!  Just took off the existing wrappers on the choc, measured them, fiddled around a bit on the computer...and here they are - there are 4 for each child!

The papers were from Papermania and the image was Popcorn - coloured with promarkers and then added bits of clear and black glaze on eyes. nose, paint spill, heart in ear - I tell you this, because you cant see them in the pic!!!  Lol

I am going to do one of these for hubby for valentines tomorrow - but thats for my DT at Doodle Palace so I cant let you peek!

Thanks so much for taking the time to look!  Rx

Moving Home Kit

This is my housemoving Kit!  I just love this Dustin Pike image - the dragon makes me laugh everytime!  With his teddy....so funny!
It may not be clear in the second pic, but this contains some little individually wrapped teabags, some "straws" of coffee, sugar sachets, some prewrapped biscuits, a pack of tissues, a pack of wipes, a little keyring gift and a small pack of sweets.  Yes - they all fit in, even though the box is small!

Ok - did this specifically for the Sir Stampalot and Floral Fantasies challenge.  The challenge was "moving" to be interpreted in anyway!  Of course, I went plain and simple!  It's to celebrate Sir Stampalot moving to new premises soon!

Ooo just realised I link this up to a couple more challenges....use up your stash - a new blog not limited to papercrafts but not excluding - I am claiming the papers and the image on this one.  The theme was to take inspiration from a pink cushion - not too good at frilly - and dont think my dragon is either - so am claiming the colour theme of pink and green - yes its tenuous!

And also Saturday Spotlight - bigger is better - this image is MEANT to overlap the top of the box!!!!  Yeah, right!  LOLX

Ok - gonna go and do some patchwork now - yep I got a kit!

thanks for looking
