Quilling Cranberries Note Card

Hello,

Sharing a quilling berry card.  Sorry for the poor photo quality.

I never know what cranberry plant look like and I was really happy to fine the quilling cranberry on google.

I did the craziest thing.  I signed up for 2 craft shows December 6 and 7. It wasn't my intention but thing happened and I will just have to go with the flow.  In the past I didn't even do 2 shows in the same month and now I'm having 2 shows two days in a row.  So this mean I have to make tons of things for the 2 shows and I will be absent from my blog and from checking out your wonderful blogs.

Until then ...

Quilling Peas

Hello,

Is it June already? Oh, my!

Sharing a quick quilling peas that I made a few weeks ago.  These quilling peas came from a quilling book that I bought when I first learned to quill.  When I first started to quill, I wanted to buy all the quilling books out there. That would mean I need lots of these $$$$.  It took me a long time to decide to buy this book. It is called Thrilling Quilling by Lizabeth Moad. I wanted to buy a quilling book that gives me lots of different designs and I think this book gives me what I was looking for.  Also if you google "quilling cards",  you will get more quilling than a quilling book can offer..  No more buying quilling book!

Thanks for looking!  Have a wonderful weekend!

Simple Quilling Flower Note Cards

Hello,

I had several quiilling flowers sitting around so I put together these simple note cards.  I am not good at making quilling scrolls.  I actually not good at quilling at all so I used flourish stamp from Paper Trey Ink called Fancy Flourish for the scrolls.

I didn't plan to have any butterflies on the card but I smeared the red ink on the card so I added some butterflies to cover the ink.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful weekend!

Quill Bamboo Cards

Hello,
I saw this quill bamboo here.  It looks pretty simple to make so I made  these two cards.

I like the first one better.  The second one is a smaller square card and it looks a bit busy.

Last week I received another award from Irina at Kiddo's blog.  Irina does beautiful modular origami and her quilling creations are stunning.  Thank you Irina for this award.  I am truly flattered.

Rules are:
Share 5 things about yourself (1 of the 5 things must related to crafting)
Pass the award to 5 other blogs

I just share things about me last week so I will share how I came to have this blog.  This blog actually is my third blog.  My first blog was HelenHandmadeCraft.com didn't work out.  Then I used Typepad and that one didn't work out either.  I was very frustrated but I didn't want to give up.  Then I stumbled upon Blogspot and it said I could create a blog for FREE.  All I needed is a google account.  My email is with google so I gave it a tried and here I am two years later.  I am so happy to have this blog and more importantly are the friendship that I've  made through this blog.  Thank You!!!

Hugs,

Tulip Frame & Quilling Flower

Hello,
I saw the irsh flowers in my yard,  and wanted to make a card so I made this.
Now if I crimped the purple quilling strips before I rolled may be it will look more like the irsh flowers.

Quilled Bear Baby Card

Hello Bloggers!
I saw this blog here and immediately was inspired to do some quilling.

My favorite one is the brown bear.  The quilling tension is pretty even.  The last one I thought it looked more like a piglet (lol) than a bear.  The crochet flowers were from my stash that I made

Thanks for looking.

Quilled Sail Boat

Hello Everyone!
I have another masculine card to share today.

Can you tell it's a sail boat?  The right triangle shape was very hard for me to create.  These are the two best triangles that I got from my pile.  Note to self - need to quill more often. :)

Thanks for looking.  Have a wonderful weekend!

For You Quilling Card

Hello,
I made this card to send to my up line, Barb. I hope she likes purple. I haven't quill in awhile so my coils are not great.

It is sort of a good bye card.  I signed up with SU as a hobby demo a little more than a year ago.  I got more than enough SU products than I ever wanted.  Plus, as you can see, I am in to all kind of crafts.  It is not wise for me to stay with SU.

I CAS this card from Creative Paper Quilling by Doreen.  I just love the simple yet so elegant designs that Doreen made.

Thanks for stopping by again.  Have a wonderful weekend!
