Magnolia & Hanglar + Sketchy Colours Challenges

Good evening folks, hope you are all well and enjoying the same lovely weather we have had in Cheshire today.  This card I really enjoyed creating, its for the Magnolia and Hanglar Challenge number 95, which is a fab sketch by Mina.  Unfortunately I dont possess any of these gorgeous and much sought after stamps, this one I received through a stamp swap.

The lovely papers are K&Co Classic McKenna, image I coloured with Promarkers and Prisma pencils.  When I first started stamping I used just Prismas, then moved on to Promarkers and Copics, now I seem to have reverted back to my Prismas, even better I have discovered they work beautifully together, especially using a dark Prisma pencil for shadows.

The flowers are all Wild Orchid Crafts, the smaller roses I sprayed with Old Lace Glimmer Mist and added lots of sparkle with Stickles 'Tiara'.  The lace is from my stash, the ribbon is seam binding Siam Pink, again from Wild Orchid. The sentiment is a digital download from Cuddly Buddly ~ Bits of Ivory Garden Vignettes.

I am also entering this card into Sketchy Colours Challenge # 60 ~ Pink & Biege.

Thanks for dropping by, hope to see you again real soon!!

Another side stepper!

Hello my lovelies, hope the sun is shining for you today, its lovely here in Cheshire, makes you feel so much better to see a bit of sunshine! I think at last we can say Spring is definately on its way!

Today's card is another side stepper, I like these they are so simple yet look so effective when embellished. This one is for a friend's grandson's 1st birthday next week. The cute little images are from Cuddly Buddly Itty Bitty Nursery. I feel a bit of a cheat as the images were ready coloured but it did make the card a tad quicker to make!
I used white linen card for the base, the paper is Prima Jack & Jill (love this paperpad!), sentiment done on PC, the scalloped edge is Fiskars Treading Water punch.
Enjoy the rest of your day and thanks for dropping by, I really do appreciate it!

James in Pink

Hi everyone, thanks for dropping by this bitter cold, wet and miserable day. We live not far away from Buxton and believe it or not the road between Macclesfield and Buxton was closed today because of SNOW!! Brrrrr, doesnt bear thinking about! Still a good excuse to stay in and craft and this is a card made today. The image is Lili of the Valley 'James' - he is coloured with Promarkers and lashings of Stickles Silver. The flowers are Marianne small poinsettia with leaves cut with Leon Em Ash branch punch. The sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly and the gorgeous backing paper is a download from Nitwits Collection Mooey Christmas.

Right off to watch Corrie, it's a tear jerker tonight so better get the tissues handy!!

Thanks for looking, stay warm!

Toby Tumble

Good afternoon everyone and what a glorious afternoon it here in Cheshire, hope the sun is shining for you wherever you are.

Today's card is a little different from my usual method, it's a digital download from Cuddly Buddly - 'Toby Tumble' - isnt he sweet? The papers are also from Cuddly Buddly and they match perfectly with this fab image. He is coloured with Promarkers with lots of Stardust Stickles and the sentiment is also a Cuddly Buddly download, good value at £1.99 for a sheet of various sentiments.

Thanks for dropping by my blog, hope you like what you see, I really appreciate your visit and your comments.

Hugs

Little Footballer!

This little card I made for my grandson Sam who will be 7 this month. He is an avid MU fan so the colours had to be just right! This stamp is a Lili of the Valley, coloured with Promarkers and the sentiment I did on the PC using a free font download called 'Bend it'. The little footballs were a download from Cuddly Buddly, I re-sized the ball as small as I could, printed them off then punched them out, perfect!!
