CASE-ing CHRISTMAS #27

Good day sweet friends! I am popping in to share my card for the CASE-ing Christmas challenge #27:

(A2: Digital Stamp: Karen Kajsan; Sentiment: By me on my PC; Border punch: Martha Stewart)

I found these delightfully cute little images on Karen Kajsan’s blog, and they are absolutely FREE! You can be prepared to see a lot more of these images on cards by me!

The challenge is to CASE one of MY cards that is not a Christmas card, but turn it into a Christmas card. Here is the card I chose to CASE. I used the same colors and very similar design:

And here is a link to the challenge should you decide to join!

CC#22: HAVE A SWEET CHRISTMAS

Hello dear blogging buddies! Welcome back to In a World of Craft  and another CASE-ing Christmas challenge!

Today, we are CASE-ing Mynn’s adorable gingerbread man card. When CASEing, I kept the polka dot washi tape, but I used red since I don’t have green. Since she used gingerbread, I chose this cute digi stamp from Doodle Pantry. The sentiment is also in the set. I colored the image with Copic markers and fussy cut so I could attach it to the card with foam tape. I used a silver gel pen for the “pan” that is holding the house. I hope you like my card.

This was such a fun CASE! I hope you have fun with it!
Here is the Mynn’s beautiful card to CASE this week:

This is my last post as a DT member at CASE-ing Christmas. I am sorry to go, but I have to find a little more time for other things in life. Mynn, thank you so much for having me on the team! I will miss everyone, but hopefully will be able to play some! Love you girls!

I hope you will join us and play along!

CASE-ing CHRISTMAS #20

Hello dear blogging buddies! Welcome back to In a World of Craft  and another CASE-ing Christmas challenge!

(A2; Stamps: Penny Black (Poinsettia); Verve (Ornamental Christmas)

Today, we are CASE-ing Anita’s beautiful card. I love triple stamping and decided to CASE that part of her card. I chose this large poinsettia stamp from Penny Black because I knew it would span over the three layers I wanted to make. After coloring with Copic markers, I matted each layer with black card stock, then matched up the design and attached all layers. I didn’t want to distract from the design, so I used the little Verve Christmas Wishes stamp on the bottom layer.  I hope you like my card.

This was such a fun CASE! I hope you have fun with it!

CASE-ing CHRISTMAS #18

Hello dear blogging buddies! Welcome back to In a World of Craft  and another CASE-ing Christmas challenge!

(A2; Stamps: Great Impressions (G440 - Chickadee on Winter Branch); Heidi Grace; Cut files: Silhouette Studio; Die: Spellbinders)

Today, we are CASE-ing Mynn’s amazing card. I just adore polka dots, so I stayed with them for the background. I also kept a bird and oval sentiment tag, but went with more layers and twine instead of ribbon. I used Copic markers and a white gel pen to color the image.  I hope you like my card.

This was such a fun CASE! I hope you have fun with it!

CC#16: MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hello dear blogging buddies! Welcome back to In a World of Craft  and another CASE-ing Christmas challenge!

(A2; Stamps:Heidi Grace; Cut files: Silhouette Studio; Border Punch: Martha Stewart; Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon)

Today, we are CASE-ing Donna’s fantastic card. I stayed with her color combo and wanted to keep the heart and overall card shape. What I changed is the fold and I added the reindeer to the heart. This is a double gate fold card and gives a nice 3D effect when the card is closed. I used ribbon to keep it closed.

This was such a fun CASE! I hope you have fun with it!

CC#14: CHRISTMAS WISHES

Hello dear blogging buddies! Welcome back to In a World of Craft  and another CASE-ing Christmas challenge!

(A2; Stamps: Rubber Stamp Tapestry (Cardinal in Holly set), Verve: (Ornamental Christmas)

Today, we are CASE-ing Rocky’s beautiful card. This week I decided to go way out there and see what I could come up with. I kept with the red and white but used green instead of gold. I kept the little bow and used a circle EF in homage to Rocky’s beautiful starry background. I made a wreath using peg stamps in place of an ornament. So, it looks a lot different, but you can see the inspiration (I hope)!

This was such a fun CASE! I hope you have fun with it!

CC#12: MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hello dear blogging buddies! Welcome back to In a World of Craft  and another CASE-ing Christmas challenge!
(A2; Stamps: Doodle Pantry (Winter Critters); Cut file: Silhouette Studio; Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon)

Today, we are CASE-ing Pat’s adorable penguin card. I stayed with her colors and just rotated the design to fit my image. I used the Winter Critters digital set from DP and merged the images to create a scene. I then printed and colored with Copic Markers. The star tab is from a cut file. What do you think?
This was such a fun CASE! I hope you have fun with it!

CASE-ing CHRISTMAS #10

Hello dear blogging buddies! Welcome back to In a World of Craft  and another CASE-ing Christmas challenge!

(A2; Stamps: Cut files: Silhouette Studio; Die: Paper Smooches (Alphawhimsey); Stamp: Hero Arts and Inspired by Stamping)

Today, we are CASE-ing Mynn’s gorgeous card.I wanted to keep the overall theme and colors, but I changed from gold to silver, changed the orientation, changed the direction of the strips (I stamped instead of using Washi Tape), and I used dies to cut part of the sentiment.
This was such a fun CASE! I hope you have fun with it!

CASE-ing CHRISTMAS #8

Hello dear blogging buddies! Welcome back to In a World of Craft  and another CASE-ing Christmas challenge!

(A2; Stamps: Doodle Pantry (Stocking Ants and Cinnamon & Berries); EF: The Paper Studio)

Today, we are CASE-ing Cohenna’s beautiful stocking card. I just had to go with the big stocking, so I chose Stocking Ants. This is a digital set, so I did a little digital paper piecing and then colored the rest with Copic markers. I also embossed the background and then I added digital holly and colored with Copic markers. This was such a fun CASE! I hope you have fun with it!

CASE-ing CHRISTMAS #6

Hello dear blogging buddies! Welcome back to In a World of Craft  and another CASE-ing Christmas challenge!

(A2; Dies: Simon Says Stamp (Circle on a Line and Circle Card Border); EF: StampinUP; Cut file: Silhouette Studio)

Today, we are CASEing one of my cards!!! I hope you have fun with it. I enjoyed trying to figure out how to use the flipped sentiment in a different way and keeping all of my overall colors. What do you think? I can’t wait to see your CASE!

CASE-ing CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE #5

Hello dear blogging buddies! Welcome back to In a World of Craft  and another CASE-ing Christmas challenge!

(A2; Stamps: Rubber Stamp Tapestry (Merry Christmas), Cut file: Silhouette Studio; Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon)

Here is the card to CASE this week:

I love the birch trees on Mynn’s card and her colors, so I made the birch trees in silhouette along with a little dear and glued them onto a pretty scrap of DSP. The little sentiment tag was stamped with a small peg stamp and tied with a little bow of ribbon and baker’s twine.
