GREAT IMPRESSIONS AND THE SHABBY TEA ROOM

Hello to all of my Great Impressions friends! Great Impressions is sponsoring the challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room! The beautiful inspiration photo is below and here is a little inspiration for you.

The background in the picture made me think of doing a Bokeh background for my image. I loved the tub of flowers in the image so I took inspiration from that and used the Spring Flower Tub from GI. I used Copic markers and gel pens to color the image and heat embossed the sentiment onto the frame.

I know you are ready to join in the fun! Show us what you create by clicking over to The Shabby Tea Room and linking up with the challenge!

Thanks for stopping by!

TSTR135 & IBSIC30

Hi crafty friends! What are your plans for the weekend? I hope you have a great time doing what ever it is!

I have a baby card to share today:

My card was made using the Inspired by Stamping sketch for this week and The Shabby Tea Room inspiration photo, but more about those later. The papers are Craftwell and MME. Those tiny flowers around the circle and on the sentiment, as well as the sentiment are from Rubber Stamp Tapestry. I just love the delicate look Susan’s tapestry stamps create. The medallion is made up of SB circles (Scalloped and Lacey) and Labels Eighteen. The lace is from Inspired by Stamping and the ribbon is from RRR  Prima flowers and some pink rhinestones complete this card.

THE SHABBY TEA ROOM

Hi my friends! Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me on my blog today. I want to share with you a card for The Shabby Tea Room challenge.

This week Deb has a sketch and an inspiration photo for us to work with.  I don’t usually use burlap, but it just felt right for this card.  The papers are MME and Craftwell. I used SB Lacey Circles and Classic Circles and Memory Box for the flourishes.  The wreath behind the medallion is made by attaching punched leaves to a circle and layering until I liked it.  The image is from Doodle Pantry’s Harvest Bounty Color.

Card Challenges:

This card will be donated to Operation Write Home:

MOJO MONDAY & TSTR

I love playing with both Mojo Monday and The Shabby Tea Room challenges, so this week, I decided to combine them into one card.

Papers are from K&Company and MME.  I used Liquid Pearls around the edge of the outer circle, used Spellbinders Lacey Circle for the next smallest, and Classic Circles for the smallest one. The sentiment is from Inspired by Stamping, as are the pretty leaves.  I made the flower from ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The crystal flower is from ZVA Creatives and of course stitching all around. I am finding it hard to make a card and not put stitching on it!

Thank you so much for stopping by! I am always so happy to see that you have been to my blog.
Please leave comments so I know you were here!
