Full Moon

The sun had set.

The moon was rising on the other side of the sky.

Holi is one of the twelve full moon festivals celebrated in India. Every year it is celebrated in the Phalguna month of the Indian Lunar calendar and it usually falls in early March. Yesterday we celebrated Holi and I took these full moon shots.

Holi also indicates the tucking away of Winter season and onset of Spring season.
