I Love Cheese!
I've kinda set a rod for my own back in that Last Christmas I Made all my presents for friends, hopefully more about that as it gets closer to the big day. This has meant however that all my friend expected homemade gifts for birthdays. So far I've struggled a bit but certainly did for my boss especially as I work in a card and gift shop so she has seen everything! As I love Cheese and so does she I decided on Cheese scones and a box to put them in... As I forget everything thought I aught to put the recipe down.
225g Self Raising Flour
50g Butter
50g Mature Cheddar
4 Tbls Buttermilk
Pinch salt & Pepper
Parmesan Cheese (to chuck on top. Simple

If at First...
Try Try again....
This card started life as a Christmas Card, 2 attempts later it morphed into a Card for a friends wife's birthday. Considering that he asked for the card to fit a voucher of a specific size, and it was the night before the birthday, this card was born!
Background is distress inked Do'crafts Christmas paper with Spellbinders Extendable pattern on Core'dinations cut twice following You Tube video instruction found Here card then sanded. The sentiment is stamped and layered on labels 4 and finished with a bow and my favourite hat pins made by Wendy (Next Door). Detailed picture below:-

Scraptastic'
Mornin' This card was created from scraps, I put my hand in the box that I keep far too many scarps in and grabbed a handful. This is the result, thankfully all the colours matched.

First Post Here we go...
It would be great if I got anyone following this but hey I've created it so I can remember what I've made. Today I'm adding a Card I made for my friend Marlene's daughter Civil Partnership. It's still a struggle to find a wedding card that doesn't say wedding so she asked me to make this. There was no colour theme for the 'event' so we decided on White on White which I think looks more interesting, sometimes.
This was a gatefold card the size determined by the Spellbinders expandable pattern die I used on each 'gate' . The next pic shows how this double gate opened.

The final picture shows the detail of the front, there was a fold out section inside for Marlene to add a poem she had written but I didn't take a picture of this.....that's me......
