Das doppelte Lottchen #163 (three of them)

It's sunday, that means it's Lottie and Lisa time!

Lottie and Lisa means Anni and I usually pick a stamp or stamp set or die that we both have (we nearly have the same taste!) and create a card with this product and another task.
Today I made a wish, and it is:

Memory Box Large Circle Burst Die

&

minimal coloring

Okay, I admit, I don't knoe what I was thinking when I came up with this challenge. I clearly had something in mind, but I just couldn't remember. So today I have three cards for you - from a very mininmal layout to a busy one, but all of them only have a little bit of coloring on them :)

The first card is the most minimal one. I used the die to create a stencil and inked some white pigment ink onto my kraft cardstock. The fox got a tiny bit of Polychromos coloriing.

Not coloring as much as I normally would  - so not coloring the best I could - freaked me out and I wasn't too pleased with the result, so I decided to make another one:

The second card got a more interesting Layout, is still pretty CAS and only has a bit of coloring because these images only need very little color. I liked how this turned out but thought I might try again...

The third card is super busy with lot of diecutting and stamping Action. Is has lots of dimension, different Textures and still not too much coloring:

Hoewever, I feel like I colored to much oneach of the cards, so I think I cheated on my own challenge - so sorry! Hope you liked the cards anyway!

Now hop over to Anni's blog to find her creation :) She'll knock your socks off ;)

Thanks for viisting!

Das doppelte Lottchen #159

It's sunday, that means it's Lottie and Lisa time!

Lottie and Lisa means Anni and I usually pick a stamp or stamp set or die that we both have (we nearly have the same taste!) and create a card with this product and another task.
Today Anni made a wish, and it is:

Stampotique - Grumpy Koala

&

be inspired by the other one's card that's older that 3 years

Anni has always been my muse, so being inspired by her cards is just easy peasy. I picked this card, that has so many fun details - the paper piecing, the parchment paper, Staples, the sketch - so much to love!

I didn't mean to case this card, but I ended up creating a card that is super close to the original. I didn't have parchment paper, so I used some tissues :)

The sentiment says "Against it!" - if you wonder what occasoins would ask for a card like this - I am thinking of leaving team-members and such ;)

I would also like to share a second card with you- If you're interested in how this background was created - I shared a short video on the Create A Smile instagram account (@creasteasmilestamps) which just hit 10.000 followers last night - woot woot!

After taking the photos I realized that I had totally forgotten about a sentiment, but decided to keep it this way - It's a multi-occasion card now :)

Now hop over to Anni's blog to find her creation :) She'll knock your socks off ;)

Thanks for viisting!

Das doppelte Lottchen #148

It's sunday, that means it's Lottie and Lisa time!

That means Anni and I usually pick a stamp or stamp set or die that we both have (we nearly have the same taste!) and create a card with this product and another task.
Today Anni made a wish, and it is:

Mama Elephant - Cosmic Stars
&
Stencil

Ma card came together pretty quick and is super simple :)

At the moment I am in love with all my lion-stamps. I love lions - especially the cute kind. So I knew i would use the lion from that set and keep a lion-y color scheme.

That new Create A Smile die (coming soon!) says "congratulations", so it's perfect for a birthday or other occasions.
I knew that I'd had to be a background with a BANG (because it's more lion-y, you know?), so I used my splatter stencil and blended with yellow and brown ink. I also flicked on some ink for even more bang.
That little black strip is just to ground the lion. He needed something to be placed on, otherwise he would have looked so lost.

Seite the birthday - anything goes
Addicted to stamps and more - Clean and simple

Thanks for visiting! :)

Das doppelte Lottchen #116

It's Lottie and Lisa time!

That means Anni and I usually pick a stamp or stamp that that we both have (we nearly have the same taste!) and create a card with this set and another task.

Today Anni made a wish, and it is:

Sweet Stamp Shop - Too Hip
and
Create A Smile stencil

Sweet Stamp Shop - Too Hip
und
Create A Smile stencil

I played with the Lots Of Stars Stencil, Used it to ink the background and also to add Clear Embossing on top of the inked areas. Love that effect! See the sentiment? It means "Come on, freak out!" and might be a little sneak peek of a set that will be released in January.... but shhhhht!

And now let's see what my amazing friend Anni created!

Stencil Sunday #3 - watercolor on stencils

Hi there,

I'm over on the Create A Smile Stamps Blog today with a new Stencil Sunday video. This week I'm talking about watercolor and stencils... Because it works - if you use spray adhesive on your stencils.

I used the Swirly Stencil and the Jungle Fever Stamp Set. You can find more Details (e.g. the Copic colors) on the CAS blog.

Here's another example for that technique:

It's Lottie and Lisa time!

That means Anni and I usually pick a stamp or stamp that that we both have (we nearly have the same taste!) and create a card with this set and another task.

Today Anni made a wish, and it is:

Lawn Fawn - Critters in the forest

and

Partial Die-cutting

I used the fox (yes, I just love to color foxes!) and partially die-cut the wreath. That makes a combo of inlaid die-cutting and partial die-cutting because I didn't cut the wreath off. When It was cut I used some scratch paper to save the background from being inked and used a blending too to color the wreath. Nice effect, isn't it? The sentiment means "congrats" and is from Create A Smile.

Lawn Fawn - Critters in the forest

und

Partial Die-cutting

Belated Tickling Tuesday #12

Hi everyone!
Time for a new Tickling Tuesday!
What's Tickling Tuesday?
Every tuesday I'll try to tickle your mojo with another video. Hope you like it and have fun!

Hallöchen!
Zeit für Tickling Tuesday!
Was ist Tickling Tuesday?

Sorry I'm late - I started uploading yesterday at 8pm. It was past midnight when I went to bed and the upload was still processing. When I woke up this morning my computer told me that the upload could not be finished - so I had to start from the beginning. This was more that 3 hours ago, but it's finally done - woohoo!
Today it's all about using small images for backgrounds and inks, this is the result:

So check out the video!

I was totally inspired my the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge this week. All stamps are Paper Smooches.

Some sweet stuff

Hi there,

before we got to todays Lottie and Lisa (1h left) I would like to show you some other cards that I made during the last days.

I showed you in my last video how to create woodgrain backgrounds. For this card I created a Blue background - because it's a Christmas card.

 Challenges:
Lawnscaping - New technique (Blue woodgrain background)

2) Stuck on you
I think this cactus from Sweet Stamp Shop is so sweet! And it's fun to color it - although this is quite simple.

3) super excited for you
And another one from the Sweet Stamp Shop - this little Panda makes me smile. What the picture does not show: His head is mounted on an action wobbler - so he's ready to dance :)

Very CAS

Hi there!
Last night I crafted but couldn't come up with very innovative or creative ideas, all my cards ended up being very CAS. :)

1) Alles Liebe (All the best)
I cut the sentiment out with my Silhouette (Font: "Wolf in the city"), adhered a piece of patterned paper to the back and added that little bird from Lawn Fawn's critters down under.

Den Text habe ich mit der Silhouette ausgeschnitten (Schriftart "Wolf in the city"), habe etwas gemustertes Papier dahinter geklebt und den kleinen Vogel von Lawn Fawns critters down under hinzugefügt.
Challenges:
Catered Crop - Put a bird on it
Addicted to Stamps and more - CAS
Less is more - a touch of turquoise
Dynamic Duos - Melon Mambo + Tempting Turquoise

2) See you later, Aligator
Another critters down under card. I wanted this set for quite a while, I am so happy I got it now.

Noch mal Critters down under.

 Challenges:
Simon Says Stamp (Monday) - Anything Goes
4 crafty chicks - color a stamped image

3) Herzlichen Glückwunsch (Congrats or Happy Birthday - there's no exact translation)
I colored a lot of images in hospital, now I try to use them. This little bird from purple onion designs needed some nature, So I combined him with Hero Arts 3 ferns.

Challenge:

That's it for now- check back later for my Lottie and Lisa Post ;)

ANBH Challenge 41 - Build a Background

It's time for another challenge over at A Blog Named Hero:

Building backgrounds can be done by so many ways - stamping, stencils, embossing - whatever you wish, just make sure to make you OWN background.

For the month of April, the ABNH girls also play with fun products from Freckled Fawn!

And remember, one lucky, random entry will win a $25 gift voucher from our amazing sponsor, Simon Says Stamp, so you should definitely play along! :)

For my project I mixed two background stamps from Hero Arts. I have to say I am not too happy how this turned out, but my mojo was missing, so this is the result:

Check out all the inspiration from the other girls - they are so talented!
