Retos de Scrap está buscando diseñadoras y para eso han preparado un reto, así que me puse manos a la obra inmediatamente. Para este reto podemos hacer cualquier tipo de trabajo: el tema es
La vie en rose y tenemos que basar el diseño en las fotos que aparecen en la entrada con ese nombre de
El sueño de Cloe. El trabajo tiene que llevar plumas, botones, una flor y debe ser completamente rosa.
Cuando vi las normas pensé: "Dios, ¿hay algún otro adorno más que puedan pedir? y encima rosa... ¡¡voy a tardar siglos en hacer eso!!"
Y es verdad, me llevó mucho tiempo, pero me lo he pasado en grande haciendo este LO (les estoy cogiendo el gustillo) y ha sido un verdadero reto para mí, que más de tres cosas distintas juntas me parecen un batiburrillo.
Two days ago I saw a new challenge from Retos de Scrap. They are going to select three people from it to be part of their designer team. We can do any kind of scrap work, the tittle is La vie en rose and we have to base our project in the photos on El sueño de Cloe. We have to include feathers, buttons, one flower and has to be completely pink.
When I read this, I though: "oh my God! is there any other thing to include here? and pink... I'm going to die doing this!!"
Well, I took me many hours, but I really enjoyed doing this LO, that has been a real big challenge for me, as usually I don't put more than two different stuff in a project.
En cuanto leí el título pensé en Edith Piaf (obvio, ¿no?), pero cuando vi las fotos solo puede ver a Audrey Hepburn paseando por París en Sabrina. Así que fue fácil decidir que mi LO iba a mostrar París. Vivo en esta ciudad desde hace casi tres años y medio, y es imposible salir a pasear por ella sin sacar, al menos una vez, la cámara del bolso, así que otra cosa no tendré, pero fotos de París... MILLONES!! Elegí tres que fueran claramente reconocibles y ya solo me quedó elegir los papeles; descubrí con asombro que tengo mucho más papeles rosas de lo que creía, incluído uno con paraguas (bueno, hay paraguas de todos los colores, pero recorté los dos rosas) y pensé que SI había un adorno más que debía ir en ese LO porque, como un conocido me dijo hace ya muchos años, "el secreto mejor guardado de Francia es el clima de París" y yo no quería hacer como los franceses, sacar siempre un París soleado (algo que pasa una media de tres semanas al año) e incluí este pequeño guiño a la eterna lluvia parisina.
In the moment I read the tittle I though in Edith Piaf (pretty obvious) and when I saw the pictures, my mind was completely full of images of Audrey Hepburn walking by Paris in Sabrina. So it was very easy to decide that my LO was going to show Paris. I'm living here for almost three years and a half now, and I have to say that it's impossible to have a walk by this city without doing, at least, one photo by day, so I have MILLIONS of shots of Paris!! I chose three that were clearly identifiable and then... the papers... I discovered I have much more pink ones that I knew, including one with umbrellas. In this moment I though, "well there is at least one embellishment that I MUST include in this project: the umbrellas", because, as a friend told me many years ago, "the major secret of France is the weather in Paris" and I didn't want to do as French, showing Paris always sunny (this happens only three weeks per year) and I made a conspiratorial wink to the Paris eternal rain putting two umbrellas on top of the word Paris.
Estoy muy contenta con el resultado (por desgracia no tanto con las fotos, pero las hice por la noche, con luz artificial), y espero que os guste. ¡Buen fin de semana a todo el mundo!
