It is a wine bottle holder
I don't like the way it looks with wine bottles in it....so what to do??
I already bought this...about two years ago and as you can see the price tag is still on it...So I need your help. Should I return it the the thrift shop or can you creative ladies give me some ideas!

Make cones out of wax paper and fill with French fries! xo,
Hi Linda,
I'm going to have to think on this one. I wouldn't return it just yet....I'm sure somebody will have an awesome idea on how to use it. If something comes to mind I'll let you know.
Jane
It doesn't look like it would be very sturdy with wine bottles in it. If you don't like it return it. Maybe someone else can see the potential in it and will be thrilled to get it!~Ames
I just saw some plastic ice cream cone holders at the dollar tree...what about getting some of those, and filling them with something...flowers, herbs, something...that is all that came to mind Linda.
I dunno either I just want to comment so I can read everyone elses comment lol
Hi Linda, it's the oddest looking thing and the leaves make it look even odder! I think I'd get rid!
this might take some time and a little effort, but find four stemless glasses that will fit snugly into the spirals. Find or make some cork tops to fit in the glasses and use as a spice rack. Or find some appropriate tops and spoons and use as a relish tray.
Distress it- place old colored bottles (blue, green) in it- place in a sunny spot of the flower garden.
I would display photos in it; I would use it to hold bills and envelopes and a small notebook or whatnot on my desk. Or maybe put large baby food size bottles of thumbtacks, paperclips, rubberbands in them. Or something in each that would hold pens, pencils and highlighters.
It says cool office fixture to me.
In six months you can stuff it full of pictures of Tiger.
You might buy some cone shape floral Styrofoam. Put ivy vines in it with some grapes.....use as a kitchen decoration near your wine cabinet. or even cones that you could fill with soil and put real ivy in the cones!
Otherwise I don't have a clue! LOL
WOW, the suggestions show just how really creative your readers are! Love the ideas. Have seen these around before and am such a goober, I honestly thought they were for ice cream cone cones! Like you'd set out at a social so people could get their own cones! Wine? Duh!
Linda, I would make cones out of old music or old books pages and fill the cones with hard candies. I especially see it used at Christmas with red and green candies playing off of the silvertone. You could also tie a coordinating ribbon on the handle and let it stream down.
With a little twist I can see it used as an herb garden! Anyway you decide it will be great!
Blessings!!
I'd use it as a centerpiece. First I'd spray paint it, then I'd make some small posie bouquets, and put one in each of the cones. Can't wait to see what you decide on.
Hummmm, well the first thing I would do is spray paint some color to match your kitchen/dining room (if it wre me, I probably spray paint it black). Then I would I put pretty linen napkins it it along with different set of flatware. Weird huh? LOL I just think it would be a great place to store and display sets of flatware.
Lot of great suggestions! I think it would make a great fresh flower holder. Cut wine bottles and use them as the "vase" or, like Debbie said, use the plastic ice cream cone holders as the vase - just paint them the color of your choice. I also really like Diann's suggestion. I think it is very versatile and you will have fun using it in a variety of ways. I would definitely keep and use it! If you decide to get rid of it, let me know!

Could you use it on your desk/craft table and put paints, brushes etc. in it?
thanks for participating in my linky party!

Stuff the spirals with peat moss and plant little violets in them!
I like the ice cream cone idea.

I think you should stuff it with some moss and plant some pretty little blooms in it. It's a keeper.
You know how some people have bottle trees - it could be a mini one! What do I know?
I love it, but at this moment I can't think of what I'd do with it. All the other "commentors" have great ideas, though. Can't wait to find out what you do with it! Lesa
I see flowers or potpourri in it.
I hope I'm not too late. I too would spray paint it, probably white, then I would get cone shaped styrofoam and insert then faux ivy and faux berries for a ready made centerpiece. I love Diannes napkin and utensil idea too though! Fun!
Diann said the same thing I was thinking put white linen napkins in the cones and put you sterling silver flatware inside
Jancie
My first thought was to put clear glass cylinders in the coils and use it for bud vases, but I do like Diann's suggestion of flatware (or plastic ware for a picnic) and the suggestions of growing herbs, if you care to do that sort of thing. I could even see using it as a candle holder, but the wax would drip. You could fill the coils with paper cones and use it to STORE candles.
I probably would not have bought it but I am sure I would find a way to put it to use.
In a guest bathroom to hold extra rolled towels? or soaps? Toothpaste?
Looks interesting I would spray paint it cut those leaves off and try to turn the cone shapes to an upright position and maybe use it for candles
