WHERE DO YOU KEEP IT ALL PART 2

I am joining The Tablescaper for her "Where Do You Keep It All" party to celebrate her 2nd Blogaversary!  I joined in last year and a few things have changed since then.  I've added more stuff...I know you are shocked...NOT!
So let's get started!

This was a photo of my dish closet last year.  I've made some changes that have added more storage space

More shelves and I've tried to sort the dishes into color groups
I took down the placemats from the top shelves and instead put large serving pieces up there
The next shelves house some of my S&P collection and my Cobalt Blue depression glass set and other odds and ends
The top shelves on the side store some sets of Metlox china I've been lucky enough to find and some seasonal items
I added another set of shelves to this side for the large place mat collection and divided into color groups
Below the placemats is this great shelf with two drawers I found at a thrift shop.  The large shelf is great for charger plates and the drawers hold some linens
This side was hard to photograph so excuse the angles.   I got two closet organizers (using "My Points" to get a gift card) too maximize the storage. Adding two bins (found on clearance) at the bottom gave me some additional easy storage space
These shelves hold teapots, pitchers and other assorted pieces.  The bins hold additional linens.
I used some storage boxes to corral my teacups and saucers

I found this great little step stool at the thrift shop to keep in here so I can access most everything.  If I need 'tippy top' items I have to get the larger step stool.

Once we leave the dish closet we head into the dining room
The hutch is filled with glassware and other odds and ends!
Next is the Basement...a work in progress

This is an area I am trying to make into my ETSY shop corner.  Shelves for my inventory and a work table for packing and shipping.
This area of the basement is where I hope to store many of the seasonal decor I have.  I'm trying to put each season in a bin marked with its contents and then store them here.  The shelves will be for items I use in tablescaping or vignettes but not as often as the upstairs items
Stuff has been just piled up on here but will be organized soon...I hope!
I also have this hutch downstairs that I plan to devote to my milk glass collection.  Most of it is stored here but a few other items have stopped here on there way to somewhere else.
I also have some storage in the upper cabinets of my kitchen.  Mostly stored there are extra glassware and my Christmas dishes.
So that's where I keep it all!
I hope you will join

I want to thank Stephanie at
Junker Newbie for doing a feature
on me today!  Check out my interview

Linda

Can I come shop at your house? I've always wondered where tablescapers keep their inventory. You have to be organized and it looks live you really have it under control.

I just knew you'd be organized - just knew it! I won't be showing my big mess anytime soon!....but I'll take inspiration from your post. :)

Wow! And to be so organized. Right now I have more clutter (mainly in guest room)than organization going on, so won't show mine. If I'd get off the comp. I could probably solve that problem. :D
Stay cool.

Last year was not bad but wow- your updates are wonderful. My whole house is a work in progress. In summers heat I enjoy taking time to work in a cool basement, so for now it is clutter central. I do not think anyone can compare to the organization our dear Tablescaper shares. She sets the bar high.

Linda, what a wonderful improvement in your dish closet since last year! I know you must enjoy the organized space; it looks great. As for the Etsy inventory challenge, I totally understand! I once had a basement and things were pretty easy once I got it organized ... but my old house doesn't have a useable basement, so I'm having to get creative! Still a work in progress here, too!

You've got some great organized space. That closet on your main floor has so many useful shelves. You've made some great improvements since last year. What's really neat is that you've got space in your basement. You've got sapce in which to sort and organize. That's what I really need - space to work in.

Thanks so much for coming to the party and sharing!

Hi Linda,

What fun closets!
Also, what fun things you collect.
WOW....
Right up my alley!

Anyhow, you should write a book on TABLE SETTINGS.
Your lovely things would look so nice in a book.

Lin

I love the new look of your blog...well, new looking to me...as for me, I have come to the time in my life where I have purged everything....living and crossing the US in an RV for 2.5 kinda tends to carry what you need.

Wow Linda! You have so many great tablescaping goodies! I am very impressed with your storage solutions too. You are so lucky to have a pantry to work with that you can devote to the dishes. Your work in progress in the basement has me wondering if this is in my future too. Oh no!!

Amazing! You should think about opening up your home for public tours. You could charge admission. You've collected so many beautiful pieces.

I love to see how everyone organizes their stuff. If anything it makes me feel less guilty for having so much stuff! LOL You seem to have everything organized neatly & that's no easy task when you have lots of pretty goodies as you do.

Oh my gosh.....I finally saw some of the inner sanctum....storage of all your beautiful finds!

I love, love, love your dish cupboard. Love that you have it, love how you re-did it.

You know I don't participate in the tablescapes, but I do enjoy looking at the ones my blogging friends do. I've seen a few of those who showed where they store everything and like I told them, "The next time my friends and family tell me I have too many dishes, I'm sending them over here to take a look." You gals amaze me every week, kudos!
