cqc#68 - poppies

Oh boy,

we had a rough week here at the Hartmann Ranch! I was home sick and so was oldest boy. The youngest one seemed to have more energy than ever and my hubby was preparing for a 3-week-training in Poland ***phew***. But now we are doing better. I still have the feeling that I could go to bed at 7 pm :) but I really need to spend more time with my goodies and camera and blog and so on ... , right?

Back to today's colorQ-challenge. I LOVE th colors Arielle chose for this week. When I saw the inspiration photo I knew that I wanted to play with this poppy stamp set from ThereSheGoes. So I grabbed my Copics and went ahead. I really like the result but I still need to practice a lot more. The cardbase was dry embossed with one of my PTI Impressions Plate (forgot to write down the name - sorry). Everthing else is pretty self-explaining.

Thank you for stopping by today and bearing with me
Hugs Tanja

Tanja, I'm sorry you and a little one have been so sick! Sending healing prayers your way!

This card is absolutey gorgeous! Your coloring is just beautiful and the ribbon detail is wonderful! When I was little, Mum had the most beautiful red poppies growing in her garden, so this card brought a smile to my face! Miss you! Love ya! {hug}
