As I indicated at the end of my message to visitors, today is the long-awaited day of the inauguration of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, which has aroused so much hope and comes from far away in the world. idea of the people and their elected representatives. The highlight will be the official opening ceremony of the Olympic Games. So I made a decision, it was to one day build a museum entirely dedicated to my father, a permanent exhibition gallery.

I have started to release archival and network plans, so I am launching a call to partners and sponsors who would be interested, knowing that at least 100 to 300 square meters of surface area would be needed for the tables. Manuel Diez Matilla is one of the greatest, and it's worth it. I am looking for patrons who would be willing to make an effort on the side of classical and academic painting, he was an outstanding Spanish artist, a very great lacquerer and decorator, an immense colorist.

At first, I thought of Toro, and of this very large house on the corner at the end of rue del arco del reloj, near the hotel where my grandfather died, and which Gérard Depardieu sought to acquired when he went down to sell his wine there ( he has land in Algeria I believe ), or in Madrid, or even in Lille, since I knew Pierre Mauroy whom I greatly appreciated, or even Paris which saw my father's van for almost 30 years if not 40, even other tracks.

It would not be as large a museum as the Carnavalet museum, the Guimet museum, or the one on rue de Thorigny, but let's say a gallery representing his work and his different eras, with a bar restaurant and a shop.

Also, I reiterate this call and this request, partners, elected officials, sponsors, patrons, do not hesitate to contact me. I believe it would be a profitable business which could bring in at least 7 to 30 000 euros per year. But there are the guards, the bartenders and waiters, not to mention the ticket office.

Maybe also a book, or even several. But for the moment, I cannot finance it alone, I need help and approval from the state.

May the Olympic Games contribute to this noble cause. The audience is there, his audience is there. I want to go even further. So I'm throwing out this idea. My older brother, who is ill, and my mother too, blamed me for not doing anything for him. I don't want to have anything to reproach myself for or regret. I already lost one.

In today's somewhat Sartrean world, the fundamental debate remains very open, the distances are considerable, enormous, colossal, and it is for this reason that we distinguish the other part of this same fundamental debate.

I don't really believe in rhesus or DNA, but for example we know that Jesus Christ was from the AB group, and we find on the fundamental ground a Balzacian twist where the look-alikes, the circumstances, the coincidences are numerous , opportunities too.

In the moment where the geography is vast, we are crossed destinies.

I would like to carry out this project, knowing that nothing falls from the sky. I am counting, for example, on Ms. Hidalgo, whom I saw at one time at Emmaüs with her predecessor who has since died, it seems to me. I really like and know Paris very well, because unlike my late father I was born there.

I have ideas, I'm going to release a lot of plans in the coming months, probably with an air-air heat pump and solar, but I'm not closed if patrons come forward. I'm not entirely convinced by the new one. But it is still of interest.

I would just like to make things clear, Manuel Diez was a huge Spanish painter and lacquer decorator. It is my duty to help the public understand his masterful work, and to simplify its popularization.

At first, I thought of a museum in the shape of a half-cloister, but I'm still thinking about it. And then in the long term, furniture and tables risk being exposed too. A particular environment, with gardens, could be suitable.

There you go, today is day 1 of the Paris games. I'm giving myself around ten years to complete such a project, assuming that I have few means, but it could be profitable, and I know quite a few other painters, quite a few personalities who could be to come to the opening. There I said it all. The bet is on.

Enjoy your visit and well done Paris.

Christian Diez Axnick.
