Valentine's Day card with Tim Holtz Cupid and window

I have made another Valentine's Day card but I haven't decided yet that I like it or not. But anyway I share it with you because maybe some of them will like it.

I often get card ideas and scenes from vintage postcards, in this case I did the same. So here it is:

So far I have used the cupid as a silhouette but now I wanted to give him personality :-) I wanted to create something similar cute angelic child what you can see on vintage Valentine's Day postcards.

All the dies and the stencil are designed by Tim Holtz.

Yesterday I have brought you a masculine Valentine's Day card, so it's time to show you a feminine Valentine's Day card. For this I used Tim Holtz Lady Rose stamp.

I'm sorry, right now I can't give you a detailed tutorial but as usually I will give you a supply list.

What I used:

modelling paste

Ranger Distress embossing powder, Vintage Photo

Ranger Archial ink pad, Potting Soil

Ranger Distress ink pads, Vintage Photo, Tea Dye

white acrylic paint

Misti stamping tool (I love it!!!)

etc...

With my card I would like to join the following challenges:

A masculin Valentine's Day tag

Here is my Valentine day tag. I wanted to make a quite masculin card since I give it for my hubby.

The card is full with the symbols of love: the background, the hearts, the Cupid, the mistletoe...

(Maybe you know, maybe not, that my nickname is GUI which means in French: mistletoe - so the mistletoe symbolize me too)

On the other side I put a stamped image with a sentiment: "Ma vie est un manege qui tourne autour de toi" (My life is a carousel that turns around you"

What I used:

Tsukineko Memento and Ranger Distress inks

Color Box Pigment Ink - Frost White Archival

Mounted sentiment stamp

chipboard

white and blue cardstocks
