Paperbabe Stamps Challenge...

 Thanks for joining me...

Here's a card I created for the current paperbabe stamps anything goes challenge...

I created this card with space for a sentiment if needed...

I used the dinky female face stamp along with the wavy bunches mixed media template for her hair. I did stamp the dinky hands first and used the masks to stamp her face so it would bring the hand forward. You might notice the other hand peeking behind her arm too...
I coloured the whole portrait in copic markers, I even gave her some sunnies using a little circle die and fussy cut her out and raised on dimensional adhesive on some vintage doll patterned papers.

Copic used...
Skin: E0000,70, R0000,000,00,11. R02,E04
Hair: B21,23,24,26. Glasses : RV10, 93. Top BV29

I would love to enter my make in these challenges...

Follow Your Dreams ~ Boundless Art Journal

Thanks for visiting...

I've been busy in my craft area for the new anything goes challenge on the blog today...
so, I treated myself to Paula Pascual fabulous boundless journal dies and decided to create a portrait page in my new art journal. What a clever concept, I love that I can add and mix up the pages, this is a w.i.p journal and I hope to add many more paperbabe portraits.
I so enjoyed putting my dinky portrait together using the 3/4 view female face stamps I opted for the blank version so I could add her lashes.
Along with the dinky hands stamp set and the coordinating template really helped for masking her elegant hand pose.
Then her pink curly crown was created using the fun
 Willow Jpad hair template.
Here's the copics colours I used as I didn't photograph them:
Skin; E11, 13, 33, 39, R32 Eyes; E97, 70, B60
Hair; R21, 37, 43, 89 Top; BG11, 70, 72, 75

and I would love to enter my project to these wonderful challenges too...

Paperbabe Stamps Challenge ~ Anything Goes

Hello everyone!!!
Hope you're keeping well and safe...
We have a new challenge up on the Paperbabe Stamps blog today...
I was creative with a needle and embroidery thread this week, using the 3/4 view micro fringe hair templates, with the closed eye face stamp, along with the dinky hands stamp set. The tattoo was created using the blossom stamps,
It's been many years since I've sewn anything, and this is probably my first embroidery, I used to sew with my mum. This kit from Stitch Happy helped so much. It's certainly given me the urge to try another, my couching stitching definitely needs work and you can certainly see some tension in quite a few of the stitches.

Paperbabe Stamps Challenge ~ 'Embrace Your Dark Side'

Which is what I wanted to put on my card front but there simply wasn't the room...

Hello everyone!!!
Hope you're keeping well and safe...
We have a new challenge up on the Paperbabe Stamps blog today,

I was completely inspired by this wonderful artist... Ling Song
It's a simple stamping, and I used pencil, biro and black fine liner to add shadow and depth.  I've added bat wings, but I'm not sure if it's become too fussy with them, I've also added long finger nails to her dinky hands as well as a few drips, but all the spider webs have been drawn free hand.
The eyeball was a fun combination of the large circle in the standard set and the iris and pupil ffrom the mini set. It was quite fun to doodle away on this sitting with the kiddies in the evening.

Paperbabe Stamps Challenge ~ Oriental Journal Page

Hello everyone!!!
Hope you're keeping well and safe... and Congratulations to all on their the exam results, I hope it will help them move forward to their next adventure.

We have a new challenge up on the Paperbabe Stamps blog today,
It's an anything goes, so I added to my small art journal, it's great to have a space for experimenting...
I drew the hair first with the messy buns template, as this would be nearer the top of the page, then stamped 3/4 view right face, and neck in black ink.
I moved onto her Hand and arm, and with the arm mask in place I stamped the peony from Oriental Zen for her tattoo.
With the masking technique I've added a few Cherry Blossoms to her hair. Her top and sleeve was really this inspiration behind this I have had this paper for ages and thought it would make great clothing. I have added a gold circle and using the 3mm Stripe stencil with black pen for the background.

Flourish Notebook ~ Tissue Stamping Collage

Hello everyone!!!
Hope you're keeping well and safe...
We have a new challenge up on the Paperbabe Stamps blog today,
I created this little notebook based off of the sketch,
I used a palette knife and acrylic paint directly onto watercolour paper to get the random colours and texture.
all the flourishes, flowers and imagery were tissue stamped and collaged onto a painterly background. I think I would paint the back of a few to get some definition to a few of the flowers, another time maybe.
When it was dry, I then die cut the whole image using an Eileen Hull notebook die
I love how the image wraps around to the back
I gold embossed the flourish mdf word to compliment the stroke of gold paint on the bottom edge.
