Bridge Day 2007

After all these years, I finally went to Bridge Day. I had a lot of work to do for a client besides shooting jumpers, but I did get a few shots of the action. It's pretty startling to see people jump off the edge, 876 feet above the river.

Big Cut on 119


Holy cow... would you look at that? I was driving home from a job on US119 through southern West Virginia and I just had to pull over and take a photo of this scene. This demonstrates the difficulty of building roads in Appalachia. That's a lot of rock to move. And you have to do that for every road, shopping center, or whatever you want to build around here.
