Reader, Kelly has submitted this for our July STARS and STRIPES Challenge. Since her last name has the word "star" in it, then it was appropriate :) :) :)
Here is what she said: You caught me on a good day...I had some mojo...Maybe because it was a "stars" and stripes challenge...stars/Starsky, get it?

June HOMECOMING Challenge by Amy
Reader Amy submitted this beautiful banner for the June HOMECOMING Challenge
She said:
Hi! My name is Amy from http://www.amyscrapspot.blogspot.com/ (Where Scrappin' Happins!) and this is the first project I have ever entered into a challenge!!
On Thursday June 24th I decided that I was finally going to try making my first banner. The fact that July 4th is right around the corner helped, a LOT!
I used my CTMH AP Cricut cartridge to cut everything that you see. I love working with these colors! I was able to use the same shade papers, inks, embossing, it was GREAT! A lot of work but well worth it! I am not usually one to want everything uniform, as you can see I kind of like it funky! Scrapping 2 boys usually seems to fit with that lopsided look. Almost as if they are bouncing on my page. =) The B&T paper I chose, Superhero, really spoke to me for this project! All the little stars on one side and strips on the other! How perfect can it get?!
All and all, as my first banner, I have to say it looks pretty neat! I put as many pics side by side as I could. =). (Sorry for the glare, had to take it to work to get pics)
Bio-
I pretty much got this off of my Blog, If this isn't my Bio I don't know what is. =) I am a single mom of 2 amazing and active boys. I work full time and became a CTMH Independent Consultant since approx January 2012. I am really enjoying getting to know the products and finding that I have more imagination and creativity then I thought! With my boys I have PLENTY of inspiration and pictures to keep me busy for a long long time! For the past 7 years all of my pictures have just sat on CD or in a box and that really made me sad! I love taking pictures and what a waste! Since finding CTMH that has all changed! NOW I can show off my pictures in Style, MY style! What's better then THAT!?
Thank you very much!
Now it's your turn! Go here to see the details for these last days of June to also submit your take on the June challenge!

May 'MAY I?" Challenge by Cindy
Reader Cindy submitted this altered box for the May "MAY I?" Challenge. She said:
My project is an altered box and is inspired by a tutorial on ‘Zuzu’s petals’ http://zuzuspetalsstuff.blogspot.co.uk/
I have used fusible film heated with a heat gun to get lots of texture plus paint, embossing powders, metallic rub ons, fibres and beads to give a rich lustrous finish.
Full details are on my blog at this post http://plantslist.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/may-art-draw-may-i-share-this-project.html. The name of my blog is Plant’s List.
This item is also the giveaway on my blog this month.
Many thanks,

February Leap Challenge by Gabriella
Reader Gabriella submitted these layouts for the February Leap Challenge. She said:
Hello
Phaff sewing machine
I decided to take a leap and scrap my sewing machine to inspire me to use it more ofter. I used a lot of bright green colors and tried to use a
different technique as to how I sprayed the mist.
Kayla – Passion Live Life
If you know me in the scrap world I don’t use red very often
I find it a challenging color. I took a leap and tried to coordinate
Red in my lo . In the lo I used my red copic markers.
Boat
This lo is of a boat my son and his girlfriend saw in Cuba. I usually try and create a different title for my lo’s. Here I took a leap and designed the lo so that my title had a different look to it arranging it in different ways.
Thanks\

Thanks for the challenge! Here is my layout. I've copied a bit of what I posted on my blog about it. This year, my list of goals seemed very long. The layout uses the word "New" and a new product for me. January NEW challenge by Debbie B.
Reader Debbie B. submitted this layout for the January New Challenge. She said:
Here is a layout I did for the "New" Challenge- I used only cardstock and no photos- instead I scrapped a poem that my daughter wrote- which both of these technigues are new to me- I was really stepping out of the box on this page. I used all cardstock and either embossed the sun & clouds, misted the masked stars, chalked the rainbow and drew some birds on the page. This will be a treasured page of my daughter for sure- it was a poem she wrote the night my father (her grandfather) passed away and I have saved it- so I thought I would put it into her scrapbook for wonderful memories.

Great Challenge. I have tried 2 new things so far this month but I do not know if I can enter 2 LOs. I like your blog and am going to try to participate more often.
I have never masked over a stamp before I use this journal stamp all the time, but this time, I needed it to be blank in the middle. I couldn't remember exactly how to do it, but I figured it out and it turned out ok! I used it at the top to list some of the expressions my son has on his face. I used half of the journal spot at the far right edge of the LO to continue and finish the title.
Here is the link to my blog post in case you have any problems: http://mycreativeview.blogspot.com/2012/01/been-busy-creating.html

Hi! Here is my submission to the January challenge. The new products I’ve used are Studio Calico Cameo Mister Huey Mist, Intertwined circles masking template, kraft butterflies, and Webster’s Pages bloomers. I know just about everyone has now used bloomers but it was my first time – for the ribbon that is J.
To create the card, I used the mask on some naturals ivory cardstock and spritzed with the Cameo mister. I then spritzed with some homemade mist using Baja Breeze Stampin’ Up! Ink and Perfect Pearls. The edges were inked with additional bright pink ink. The butterfly was cut on the Cricut, embossed and inked with various blue/green inks. The butterfly stickers were stamped with some white pigment ink. All was assembled to create a girlie card for a mother-to-be expecting a baby boy.
